I know I know I can almost hear the groaning at the prospect of another X-Men RP. But this one will be a little different as it'll be set in an alternate future caused by the death of Charles Xavier by his son David Haller.

Reality begins to change and Apocalypse rises to power and takes over the world. Molding it to his will. Friends and Foes of the prior timeline have changed. Some for the better, some for worse.
With Charles no longer in existence and there being no real knowledge of him save for a few vague memories held by his old friend Eric Lensherr who since taken up the dream of Human and mutants co-existing in peace and leads a new team of X-Men.

Choose your side. Any character is available to play, OC's are also very welcome.

Power: Stores kinetic energy that enhances her strength, speed and resilience. Has to use up most of the energy or it causes her physical pain.
Affiliation: Other(specify) - Abby has joined Nightcrawler in his quest to find the mutant precog Destiny.
History: Abigail is the daughter of the X-Man and former employee of Apocalypse, Sabretooth. After finding her father after a long and treacherous journey she agreed to stay and join the team. There she met and fell in love with Kurt Darkholme, much to her fathers dismay.
Other relevant info: Since the arrival of the young teleporting mutant Blink the relationship between Abby and her father became frought and tense. Abigail feeling shut out from her fathers affections.

Personality: Shy and reserved but not afraid to socialise with strangers. But simply strangers as he is incapable of having any meaningful human relationships. Known to be insolent as well but intelligent.

History: John Fischer was born in a rich conservative family who imposed strong traditional values on him. However he has had a rebellious streak which he expresses passively. He resolved to present an obedient and submissive face to his parents while engaging in less than moral behaviour. At the age of 15, he was caught smoking weed with his boyfriend by his father. In a giant argument, the father killed the boyfriend by hitting him against a mirror. In retaliation, John ruptured one of his father's main veins, putting him in a coma. Terrified, he quickly ran away to Lensherr's mansion and school. Under his supervision, he learned to control his abilities until he achieved a mastery level of blood manipulation.
Other need to know facts: While he has previously smoked marijuana to enhance his control over his powers, he has shown to use them without the drugs. However he does smoke it for recreational purposes.

Appearance: Unshaven face, long mangled hair in a indistinguishable colour, lanky and tall, hunched over appearance. Wears an olive green jacket and black jeans
Power/Skills(If not mutant):Superhuman senses, strength, stamina, stealth, agility, and reflexes. He also has sharper and longer canines and retractable claws. These are capable of cutting through most material except adamantium. His digestive system is capable of digesting any organic matter including raw flesh while he is capable of dislocating his skeletal system.
Affiliation: Other(specify): Freelancer but occasionally works for Magneto and John
History: He is the son of John's father and another girl who abandoned him in the streets. He was found and brought to an orphanage but it was clear there was something not quite right with Charles. Although he learned how to walk, he frequently crawled and he developed speech capabilities slower than the other orphans. When incited, which happened often, he would violently attack his tormentors, biting flesh off their body. When he was 12, he was "asked" to leave to go back to the streets. He survived mostly by eating rats and grass. For education, he would break into libraries and universities to read. One day, he received an unexpected stranger: John Fischer, his half brother.
Other relevant info: Despite his appearance and animalistic nature, Charles is quite intelligent.

Other :: Her original power is the transferring of powers, but she obtained the ability to tele-transport other objects for a few moments when she was working to transfer the powers across, and one of the people died, for it was in a battle. Thus, from having no where to go, the power manifested in her.

History :: Kira Marshall discovered her powers when she lit a match on her own one day. She kept her powers to herself, but she was discovered by her day one day. From that day on, her family did not trust her. Installing fire sprinklers and such around the house, they were always cautious and fearful of Kira using her powers.

Kira was reluctant to use her powers, but she was still fascinated with what she could do, and she sought to find out more. The one day she used her powers in public was when she decided to add more fire to a Bunsen burner. With it exploding, Kira got in trouble from being suspended a few days from school. However, with their fear turning into hatred, Kira's family went into a constant paranoia. Her father grabbed a hold of her when she came home from school, and he worked to drown her in the pool. Fearful for her life, Kira used her power to blast her father to the other side of the yard and took the bought time to run away from them, for good.

On the streets, Kira lived alone for a bit, but she was soon taken up by the only people who would take her: a small band of mutant criminals. She remained with them: robbing bands, stores, etc. until the day Gambit, an X-Man, came along. Not wanting to fight, Gambit tried to convince Kira to go with him, but, not listening, they engaged in a little fight. He was surprised at how she had already learned to manipulate her powers slightly, without the professor's help, but, with a mutant hunting group coming, Kira was knocked unconscious by a dark. Gambit, then, took Kira back to the Professor who, after some time, managed to get Kira to how she is now.

A tall raven haired girl, hair neatly tied back into a ponytail and clad in a cropped black singlet and matching black shorts. She was running hard and fast across the dewy grass, her ponytail whipping behind her like the tail of an angry rattlesnake. Her breathing was hard and fast, her blood pumping hard throughout her veins. The adrenaline surging through her. A small smile crosses her lips as she comes to a wall aproximately 3ft high. Placing one hand on the top, she vaulted over nimbly and continued to run at a steady pace. She briefly looked behind and then above her. No sign of the hunter.

The ground beneath her began to judder slightly and the girl slowed down, gauging the situation. The grass in front of her cracked and rippled as a human looking drone pierced it's way through and began to charge up. Her eyes focussed and she picked up speed again, she lept a foot or so off the ground and her knee cracked the neck area of the training drone and it snapped back. The head dangling back like an old scarecrow.
She grinned, pleased at her handiwork. Without warning the air was penetrated by a puff of brimstone and a blue creature clad in red and black caught the girl off guard and knocked her off balance. He grinned wildly, his tail wagging behind him in triumph.
"Tag, you I believe are it" he said in his thick German accent, still grinning at his quarry.

"Kurt!" she exclaimed, trying to hide her smile behind a mocking pout. "You cheated"

"Aah, my dearest Abigail. I would not dare" he replied, gazing down at her his yellow eyes twinkling mischeviously.

For a few moments there was a silence between them. Not awkward or uncomfortable. But of deep affection.

"I love this time with you" Abigail spoke out, breaking the silence. She paused, biting on her bottom lip softly, "I love you Kurt" she leant upwards and kissed him softly.

"and I you" he spoke softly and before he could finish a low rumbling and snuffling noise came over the horizon and Kurt was knocked over.

Abby sat upright and began to laugh as she realised what or rather who had interupted there moment of rare privacy.
"Kyle" she shook her head and patted at her lap, the feral looking man came bounding over to her smiling and nuzzling at her. "Whoah boy, easy there" she ruffled his long shaggy mane of blonde hair. "What're you doing out on yer own?" she asked knowing there'd be no reply. Kyle Gibney was human. A mutant, but was so animalistic in nature he wasn't able to communicate much more than a loyal dog.

"Wild Child" Kurt groaned, as he sat upright and looked over at Abby and Kyle sitting next to one another. "You pick your times for walkies"

"Where's dad Kyle?" she asked the mutant called Wild Child.

"Right here" came the deep, gravelly voice. Wild Child went bounding over to the tall, hulking man and sat by his side grinning happily.

Minna didn't know how long she and her siblings had wandered around, they were reluctant to meet up with Eric Lensherr and the other mutants, and still were. Slowly blinking back into reality, Minna and her siblings soon spotted, Abigail, Kurt Wagner and several other mutants in the garden of a mansion Frowning, Elendili murmured to her sister, "We should go. Before Kurt finds us." "Yeah..." Minna nodded, "Yeah....let's go..."

She turned and left, her siblings following her silently.

John Fischer parked his motorcycle at the side of a condemned building. There was much left of it except the outer brick wall, abandoned ages ago. He waited, smoking a joint as he leaned against the wall. Then it came. The rapid heartbeats like the steady dropping of water. Clanking sounds emerged from the rooftops of the building opposite of him until a figure dropped from the sky, landing neatly next to a patient John.

"You really need to stop smoking that," was Charles' first comment.

"Why?" John asked insolently. "It's not like I can get stoned or anything."

"Smells awful," he growled, remaining on the ground, looking up at his half-brother. "Did you get my books?"

"Of course." He dropped the bag that he was carrying near Charles who pounced on it, holding it close to him. "I still don't understand why you insist on reading him. He's an absolute bore."

Charles merely grinned, baring his sharp canines. The beating of his heart didn't diminish in volume but was merely tolerated by John.

"You'll be fine?" asked John with a hint of concern.

"John, I lived on the streets for fourteen years before you came into my life. I think I can handle myself despite having a half-brother who lives in a mansion with a powerful mutant."

"If you want to, you're always welcome to stay."

"Like I said, I'm fine. See ya."

And with another growl, he jumped against the wall, clambering to the roof, and running off.

"Good bye," John whispered quietly before he mounted his bike.

Kira's eyes had been closed for about a minute now. Her mind was focused, and her lips were pierced together to show it. Giving herself a headache, Kira remained determined to manipulate her ability even further. She sat in a chair in the lounge area of the mansion, with the picture of the fireplace in her mind.

"Come on," a comforting voice sitting next to her spoke.

The fireplace suddenly gave a slight spark in the middle to be led by a second and a third, slowly causing a small flame to appear in the center of the wood.

"You're getting better," the voice assured her and waved his hand to put out the fire, "I think you would be able to catch the whole place on fire in a couple of days."

Smiling, Kira liked to see that fire had managed to appear away from her, but she was not relieved to see that she wasn't that good at it.

An alarm on the boy's watch went off, and the boy raised his wrist to turn it off. "Give them back," he instructed Kira, "you promised. Hour at this, and I get my lighters back."

Glaring up at Pyro with a smirk on her face, Kira sat back in the chair, "Well, this seems to be problematic for you... because I can just say that I lied."

"I have others."

"Not anymore. You think I haven't learned that trick yet."

"Fine." He spoke and got up from the chair, walking out the room.

"Where you going?"

"The store."
