I miss RPing. It used to be the main thing I did online, and I have to say that through RPing my writing style has improved a lot. But it seems that everytime I RP anymore, it either dies or my characters tend to just slip through the cracks.
So anyways, I was wandering if anyone wanted to do a simple, light-hearted RPG, that could possibly be humorous. Kind of like the Hallowfest, only it would be a general fantasy. (Perhaps crossover, I don't know.) Just for fun and to be silly. Because I am a fan of teh sillehness, and I am sure I'm not the only fan of teh sillehness lurking around in here.
So. Ideas? Discuss.

I'd love to do a funny RP... I always love when Actors and/or movie/book characters are involved with either ourselves or OCs

Yay! Okay, so suggestions so far are canon characters meeting up with us/OCs, and high school. Hmm, I think it would be fun if those were combined! It could be a boarding school or something. (I've never been to one, but it would be a fun setting methinks.)

Aye, I've never been to a boarding school either [public school for me ], but I have done a roleplay set at a boarding school. It took off, but being busy me I never had much time to roleplay and then I got lost and had to drop out of my own RP... But with summer quickly approaching, I'd have more time to just sit on the compy all day and reply to things. And if I remember right, there was also a roleplay where there were 3 or so "groups" at a boarding school, for Wizards, Elves & Pirates. So if you wanna mesh everything together and try to do something like that, feel free to. It's up to you Lethy.

Its been months, if not years that I've really RP'ed, so I'm in. Why the heck not.

I think a good idea would be to set a limit on characters, these can get out of hand sometimes.

^Yeah, I was thinking a limit of 3 characters would be reasonable.
I'm glad so many people like this idea! I'll try and get it set up this weekend. ...Er, does anyone have any idea what to call this RPG?

Just think of a name for the school and use that for the title... I can't think of anything off the top of my head... all my creativity has died ... blah

I'm with Aramel and the name of the Academy could be something like Howell, Mellynsford or Barnaby. Some last name that funded the school and what not.

Honestly, even though it is a lighthearted RP, you really do need to think of a basic plot. Otherwise, it will just be really boring.
