Here finally is my Bed of Nails volley! It's A&E again, but I couldn't think of another couple the song went so well with I tried out a bit of a different style this time

I don't know how I feel about this one. I decided to give it a really old, slightly burned feel, but I don't know how I like it. Wel, I do know that the song perfectly fits how the Phantom feels. He's done so much for Christine, and then she unknowingly tears his his heart out.



I was thinking that after this battle is done, maybe we could do a Requited song/couples battle! That is, if you're interested.

Goldie, Silver, your artwork has improved so much (and it was awesome to being with), and it is really, really evident in this battle. I'm stunned by the awesomeness, although I've only been familiar with one of the songs so far. But this most recent round...wow.

Goldie, that blending is impeccable, and the lyrics fit perfectly with the pictures. That picture of Aragorn is so heartbreaking somehow! I love the cold, gray/blue colors--it just suits the mood perfectly.

Sis, your blending is also amazing, and I think you did the old/burnt look excellently. I don't really know what to say about it...except that it's heartbreakingly beautiful.

Goldie, that's such a pretty blend! I love the glow it has, and Eowyn is perfect for this song. Which is why I used her, too.

I've made so many A/E graphics to this scene, but it's my favorite A/E scene because of the tender, fragile love that's so obvious between them. Trading Yesterday just screams Eowyn, and I thought this song suited them very well.



So, we've come to the end of this epic battle, my dear. On to the next!

I actually have no idea where I found them! I have this addiction to light textures, so one day I spent a couple of hours downloading a bunch of them. I might have found them on DeviantArt, but I'm not totally sure. Here's a good place to start.

I was never able to make pictures from that scene work on a banner, and it seems you've done what I could not. Your graphics are surpassing mine, by far, dear SR. I am so proud of you.

Did I say banner? Because I meant to say battle. Because, you know, I wouldn't need to pick up the stalker tree and stalk you if you weren't moving to a different thread.

Ah, dA. For some odd reason I'm afraid to go there because then I'll feel obliged to log in, and I haven't uploaded any artwork in about a year, and then I'll get caught up in trying to delete the probably 500+ messages that will have piled up...yeah. I don't know why my thought process works like that. I'm a weirdo. Thanks for the link, though!

Ok, you've serious got me freaking out over here. To hear this from Teh Ara, one of my most favorite graphic makers ever and the person who virtually developed my style is HUGE. This is actually my favorite scene to make A/E graphics from.

Sis, that makes much more sense now. I'm not too fond of dA either. I've only uploaded one picture, and it's not even that good. My computer seems to find that site bad and blocks the only way to upload things!

Awww, thanks! I remember how excited I was to join AU and be amongst all of its amazing graphic makers. It's been only about 8 months since I've joined!
