@ Eä: I'll take that as a compliment.

Okay, so I was totally not expecting this trailer yesterday, so when I clicked on the link I was pretty much already hyperventilating. :P

The first lines are gold, and the finished apparating effect is very well done. Meeting Slughorn was sort of random, but I mostly distracted by the shot of Hermione's rather fluffed up hair. :teehee: Ron in love was priceless. *snickers with Nurr* I can't wait to see more of that. The new effects on the memory scenes [since we saw them in the first trailer] were definitely not expected and are a nice touch.

This next part of the trailer [after the arrogant Harry "I am the Chosen One" scene *gag*] is my favourite part. It definitely captures the darker part of the story. The first thing I noticed however was the music. GAH. It. Is. Epic. Dumbledore and Harry all alone on the rock is an amazing shot and I totally want a banner made out of that.

From here on out I was practically jumping up and down in front my computer screen pumping my fist in the air and screaming things like "Quidditch! Wee Voldy! Dark Mark! Whoa... crying Hermione... DRACO! Oh. My. Gosh. INFERI!! SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPE!!!!!!!!"

And then I didn't even watch the end because I had run out of the room and was dancing up and down yelling about Snape over and over again. I did go back and watch the last few seconds, but they really weren't that amazing. Just stuff from the beginning of the book.

But yeah, this movie is going to pwn all the others. I am SO freaking excited now. :bounce:

I think the one shot in the trailer that completely caught my breath was that half second of Snape spinning around and Hagrid's Hut exploding in flames.

I still think my favorite trailer for HBP is the very first one with Dumbles and Young Tom Riddle though. I have never felt so chilled from a trailer before, it's astounding!

So does a PG rating mean the movie will be a little watered down and not as... juicy as it could have been with a higher rating?

I don't really get the American way of rating films. Some movies that are rated R in the States are rated G in Sweden.

I'm not to sure about this PG rating, to be honest. I mean, all I've heard about this film is that it's "getting darker" or that it is "the darkest of them all". There are Inferi and people dying left and right. It doesn't seem right to give it a PG rating. I'm just hoping this doesn't mean that it's watered down by any means. That would be the most disappointing thing about it.

PG basically means "Parental Guardian" needed present. So anyone with a guardian could see the film. This is usually aimed at something like Chamber of Secrets.

However. PG-13 requires that the child be at least 13 years old. This means that the film might have swearing or more mature themes such as death.

I'm not too worried about it. Mainly because Prince Caspian was rated PG, and that had pretty dark themes too. Narnians died, treachery and murder, etc.

^Yeah. PC was bit heavy for a PG film

I was a bit shocked at first but then I realized there's bunch of movies coming out rated PG and have way too much violence and dark topics. I'm still going to enjoy it.

DH will definitely be rated PG-13

I'm confused about the ratings between the UK and the US. PG over here seems to be lower on the ratings scale than in the US. Actually, I heard somewhere that the rating here would be a 12A. *shrug* As you two said, we're still going to enjoy it either way.

Did anyone hear about another trailer coming out with Inkheart in the US this coming Friday?

I'm upset about the PG rating...

I mean they rated GoF and OotP with PG-13

So how are they thinking (besides being greedy) when they rate HBP PG :duh:

There really is some great stuff in that trailer. We finally got to some good Snape scenes as you said, Pan. I wonder if his "It's over" is out of context. I hope they don't put that right before he AKs Dumbledore. The "Fight back you coward!" scene was brill as well. I am SO excited.

Can't Watch Trailer...

I don't know if it's the freaking security in Vista that's blocking it, but nothing really happens. Anybody has a link to YouTube?

Okay, I think I squealed really loud when I saw that trailer. I am sure half of my dorm heard me. I am so excited to be at the premiere (well, the 12am showing).

*Squeal*
