Wow, I more or less just passed out there. I absolutely must see this movie now, just to see if I agree with your opinion of Sabretooth. O_O

XD
I may have a bias view of things as I've always been more of a fan of Sabretooth than the Joker and to see him finally on screen in all his sociopathic glory made me happy happy joy joy.
Good News Everyone!
Quote: A source close to Fox tells us that the Deadpool and second "Wolverine" movies are coming from the two Easter Eggs at the end of X-Men Origins: Wolverine:
"We are developing a spinoff with Deadpool, as well. It is one of the two different "Easter egg" scenes after the credits of WOLVERINE and hints at two different movies that are coming FROM THEM. One is the Japan backstory which was announced earlier, the other is about Deadpool. The film, which would be produced by Lauren Shuler Donner and Marvel, has Ryan Reynolds attached and would be a complete exploration of this unique character - his origins, his emergence as the Merc with with the Mouth, etc. We are looking for writers as well."

I wonder if they're going to have Deadpool break the fourth wall in his movie. That would be kind of a fun tip-of-the-hat to those of us who like the character, but it might be confusing to others, so they might not.
What think you?

I'm pretty sure they will. They didn't have Wade in the movie long enough for him to do it. Ryan's said in umpteen interviews if the Deadpool movie went ahead he'd only be involved if it was as close to the comic book source as possible. He's signed on to the project, so to me that speaks volumes. Also with Marvel Studios involved rather than it being an out and out Fox picture there is added hope that it will be done as faithfully as they can.
I've been saying that Joe Kelly should be brought in to either write or be a consultant.
Oh...when you do get to go see Wolverine, stay till after the credits roll. Not sure if you'd heard or not.

Lol, no worries about the whole credits thing--I stay through the credits of every movie I watch in cinemas, courtesy of PotC: CotBP (that being the one that made me realise some people were cruel enough to hide extra footage after ridiculously long portions of credits). ^_^
Yay for faithfulness to sources! Deadpool ftw.

W000000t! I saw it this evening. It rocked sooooo much. ^_^
Wolverine was awesome, but Sabretooth was really awesome. Liev did a fantastic job.
I liked Deadpool. A lot. Like, a lot lot. He was amazing, and definitely deserves his own movie. I liked how at the end he was able to talk again, since that would have been a horrible fate for Wade...
And for the first time, I actually enjoyed the character of Gambit. I think he should have his own movie, too.

*big grin* Knew you'd love it.
...LOL Taylor did the same for me in regards to Gambit. Wasn't a huge fan but Taylor converted me.
I'm trying not to call him Deadpool, as he wasn't really Deadpool. Just Wade, but Ryan was born for the role and I can't wait for the real Deadpool onscreen.
Liev...oh Liev was wonderful. I cannot speak highly enough of how amazing he was in the role.

s'true, he's not really the real Deadpool. But, he's still cool. ^_^
Tbh, if I was only basing my opinion off of how cool the characters were in this movie, I would have to say that Sabretooth is cooler than Wolverine. O_O He was sooooooo cool.
This movie had the coolest starting credits I've seen in a long time, too.
You have the soundtrack, yeah? I've fallen in love with the sad theme (you can hear it in tracks 5, 12, 13, and 15). Seriously the whole part where he discovers that Kayla is still alive was the single coolest/most well done part of the movie, IMHO. It all felt so...tragic, at that point. ^_^
And I was really happy with the Cyclops cameo.

Aw the credits were amazing. They put Watchmen's to shame...and the music so epic.
The score is awesome. Logan Through Time, Wade Goes to Work and Agent Zero Comes For Logan are my current three faves.

Yeah, "Logan Through Time" is really awesome. As for the other two, I've noticed that I tend to like sadder music more, which is why I don't like them as much as, say, "The Towers Collapse" or "Memories Lost". ^_^
The only really negative thing about this movie that I noticed was that Wolverine's claws were noticeably CGI, which irritated me in the wake of the awesomeness of the rest of the movie. <_<

Memories Lost is beautiful. Gavin did good bringing in Harry to do the score, it gave it a really epic feel which it needed.
The only time I really noticed the claws was at the Hudsons, when he was in the bathroom. Which is weird, cause I'd seen it in clips prior to the release of the movie and they didn't look that bad at all. Maybe it was seeing it on a bigger screen or something.
Forgot to say earlier, I really enjoyed the Cyclops cameo as well. It wasn't too much, wasn't too little. The ending with him, Emma and the other mutants was rather nice and maybe a possible nod to First Class.

Yeah, they looked pretty good in the trailers and stuff, but I noticed it a number of times in the movie. It was irritating, but really, it's easily forgivable in the wake of how great the rest of the movie was. ^_^
Yeah, bringing Harry in was a good idea--and fortunately, Harry didn't recycle a lot of his themes this time. There are only a few times in the soundtrack where it's similar to other soundtracks by him (specifically, Prince Caspian), unlike the Narnia soundtracks, which are very, very much like the Kingdom of Heaven soundtrack. So yeah, the non-similarity made me very happy.
First class ftw!!! That made me very happy.
I loved the ending of the movie, though.
"Do you know her?"
"No."

That ending was so sad. He just ups and leaves her again, only this time because of the amnesia.
Ugh I really want to see it again. Having so many good movies out at the same time is a drain on my bank account lol
