Well, there may be a lot of characters coming in but I do think we can handle it. ‘Cause Lothy’s right… it’s not necessarily so much about how many charries there are but about RL coming in the way.
I think this will be fun! I love the extra twist to the plot Lothy’s charries are bringing… have I already said that?)

[[haha, "Up is Down" is one of my favorite tracks on the CD! Although all of them are epic, that one just seems to stand out more.  Hm, a random thought just popped into my mind - wouldn't it be neat to have a backwards day... like talking backwards, except typing? Ha ha, that would be so confusing!  I love turning names around and trying to pronounce them :: arodnaP, lemarA, srekcinkyhtoL, lliW, (DP) leinollaC

The Commodore listened in horror to the report of the guard. Two escapes within a week? That was hardly possible.. The arrival of the East Indian Company official couldn't be timed worse: the daughter of the Governor was to wed a pirate the next morninga nd with a break-out in the Fortress and several pirates on the loose it seemed that Port Royal was in chaos. Something had to be done.
James Norrington was not going to waste any more minutes. He dismissed the soldier who'd announced the news of the break-out and then spoke to his lieutenant: "I want all reinforcements on the streets now. Find these pirates. Search the city and the surrounding woods but do it quietly. I don't want the Company to notice anything."
His gaze of contempt rested for a moment on Edward and Sam and then continued. "Double all the guards on the Fort. And bring these two in. They will hang short after dawn."

Sam's heart made a jump in her chest as the Redcoat mentioned the break-out. A spark of hope kindled in her heart. Hope that maybe everything would be alright in the end. If Vari, Lothy and Em were somewhere in the streets.. they might come to their aid.
"Ed.." the whispered almost soundless in his ear. "Listen to me.. Ye have to run. In this chaos they won't suspect anythin'.. I will distract them.. 'right?"
They had only a few moments left. Perhaps by making such an unexpected, bold move they were able to get away. The pouring rain ensured there was no clear sight. If only Edward was able to run until he would reach the dark alleyways..
Softly her finger pinched in his shoulder. "Please go. Now!"

Nathaniel followed the Captain at a short distance. He could already see the contours of Beckett's figure as he was approaching the longboat. Nathan's hand felt the relieving touch of the cold metal of his pistol inside his pocket. The sight was miserable with the pouring rain but he knew he would only need one shot. What happened afterwards did not matter to him. No matter what happened, even if he had to disobey the orders the Captain, nothing would come between him and his prey.
