THE BASICS:
-- For every Race/Place, there will be a new prompt. Prompts may be a word, phrase, or even a picture.
-- Your job is to write a piece that focuses on both the RACE/PLACE and the PROMPT.
-- Word limit will vary each round
-- This contest is for prose;; Direct all poetry to the poetry contests!

THE RULES:
-- The entry must be within the word limit. A little bit over is acceptable, but if the limit is 500 words and you write 1,000 it will not be accepted.
-- The entry must include the RACE/PLACE and the PROMPT.
-- The entry must abide by forum rules [no swearing, etc.]
-- Please mark appropriate warnings for any insinuations, implications, etc.
-- Entries must be PMed to either Shadowcat or SilverRose.

I would love to enter, but I'm leaving tomorrow for a week-long mission trip and don't have time to write something today before I leave there better be other rounds, though, so I can enter! _________________
