Sorry! I know I'm late with my bios! I'm playing both a faery and and human. Hope that's okay.

Name: Joycelin
Gender: Female
Race: Faery
Age: Unknown
Appearance: http://www.nenethomas.com/images/innocenceweblarge.jpg
Personality: Joycelin is bubbly and out going. She enjoys being with her people and family. She has naiveté to a fault and tends to be too quick to trust. These traits get her in trouble when joined with her curios nature.
History: Joycelin has lived with her family in the realm of Queen Aladrae ever since she could remember. Her parents tell her of the time they lived in America before it became hostile to the Faery people. Maybe someday Joycelin will travel outside Queen Aladrae realm, but right now she is content to live there.

Name: Elizabeth Dolton
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Age: 24
Appearance: http://www.sweetandtalented.com/images/ ... ebel66.jpg
Personality: Stubborn and driven. When Elizabeth gets an idea in her she works until everything comes together. Too bad everyone thinks she crazy.
History: Eliza wanted to be a journalist ever since she was a young girl. Finally, she landed a small job at a small paper. For her first big story, Eliza has decided to write on the Faery people. It just started out as a story to get her to the top, now after being laughed out of her editor's office, Eliza is determined to come back with a story she can rub in their faces.

Here I am! Thanks for letting me in, Goldy! :)

Name: Freja
Gender: Female
Race: Faery
Age: Unknown
Appearance: Strawberry blonde hair, green eyes, average height
Personality: Friendly and fun, with a dash of stubbornness thrown in. Although she's often cheerful, she doesn't tend to open up to anyone often.
History: Freja was born in Scotland, but migrated with her family to London at a young age. She is loyal to her family above all else, and is often looking out for their welfare. She has a secret longing to travel in the world, but has always displayed at least an outward pride in the realm she lives in.

Name: Kimberly Lyons
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Age: 22
Appearance: Dark brown, chin-length hair, brown eyes. Tall and slender.
Personality: Quiet, sweet, and mysterious, but always has a plot up her sleeve. Not very trusting, but still inquisitive about people.
History: Kim is the youngest of four children. Her curiosity often got her in trouble as a child, but, more often than not, she was also able to get away with it due to stealth methods and her sweetness. She started playing the piano at the age of five, and grew to learn that that was her passion in life. She now studies piano at a university in London. Lately, she has stumbled across rumors of angry Faeries.

(Welcome Neri! <33 The charries!

Okay, I can't resist starting this... I'm on tenterhooks for this to begin :roll: Saira, I'm really looking forward to your charries, especially if they're plotters :lol: You can throw their bios in with your first post if you like? =)

Have fun everyone! :-D )

~~~
A new morning was dawning. But no natural light flooded into the halls of Aladrae's underground faery palace; the walls lit up with torches, casting fiery glows over the delicately carved corridors. The palace was waking up; footsteps echoed and doors closed, and faery folk emerged from their rooms, yawning gracefully, hungry, eager for the breakfast feast. If there is one thing to be known about faeries, it is that they deny themselves nothing. If they have the means of dining extravagantly beyond their need, they will do it.
Aladrae sat on the great hall on her throne, a small table set before her. She bit into a crunchy green apple, looking bored. A nervous servant attended her, pouring red wine from a ewer into a goblet. The faery queen glared at her attendant and it backed away at some unknown order.
"Music," Aladrae commanded. A faery in green velvet livery stepped forward and picked up a lute. "Play," the queen instructed, and the creature bowed.
Music twinkled through the hall as faeries came in to break their fast. There could be nothing more important than keeping the queen happy, especially in her current mood. She had been brought ill news the night before, and it preyed on her mind. She would take it out on those around her, if the chance came.
~~~

Black leather boots crunched autumn leaves beneath their soles. A figure all in black strode through the forest, her fairly modern trench coat swirling about her in the breeze. Long black hair whipped up in the wind around a pale, elegantly beautiful face. Kathryn, a London faery, was returning to the court of Aladrae. Her city life was reflected in her crisp fashion. She would stand out amongst the faeries of the court, but this was not necessarily a bad thing. Kathryn did not mind standing out. It would give her a status. And status was something she desired above all else; one status in particular.

For years, she had been planning this. Now the time was finally coming; Aladrae did not know she had an enemy in her, an enemy to be feared. She would lie low for a while. Coming to court meant becoming a courtier. For now. For now she would have to be content.

She had friends here; and no doubt her friends in the city would join her. She drew close to the secret entrance of the underground palace. A smirk twitched on her lips.
Queen Kathryn of Faery.
The title could soon be hers... with patience.

~~~
Rose slung her shoulderbag over her shoulders. She was going out today. She raked her fingers through her short brown hair and glanced over her shoulder. There was a yell from the kitchen.
"Where're you going?"
"Out," she called, smoothing her bright red top. Another yell, accompanied by the shaking of a cereal packet. Her younger sister was very noisily making breakfast.
"Where?"
"Walk in the woods! Stop being so nosy! I'll be back this afternoon." Rose shook her head and approached the front door. She was going for a ramble. It would be nice to get some peace and quiet in the woodland, not a few miles off; especially from this madhouse. It was the weekend and her younger siblings were home - unlike their mother, who was busy, as usual.
"See you!" she slammed the front door behind her and exhaled in relief. Smiling, she set off down the front path.
Caitlin munched on her bread and frowned at the book before her in thought. Not that she was actually taking anything in, no...the news of Fryn Ardhi had sent a shock wave through the entire court of Queen Aladrae. She hadn't been able to sleep at all...not after what she'd heard when meeting with other faeries of the court last night. It just seemed impossible, never had they imagined such a disaster would occur. It was a sign that change was here, drastic change that they were not expecting. Rubbing her temples and casting the book aside, Caitlin got up from her seat and decided that a walk might help her clear her head.
She'd heard the rumors. They'd spread like wildfire threw the palace. Yet, Joycelin couldn't bring herself to admit that it was that bad. How could people be so cruel? No, there had to be some explanation. So with these thoughts to guide her, Joycelin set off to find the truth.
But where to start? Joycelin looked around in the hallway and spotted someone that might do. The feary, Caitlin, seemed to be out for a walk.
"Hello," Joycelin sweetly said coming up to Caitlin. "Have you heard any news about what has happened to Fryn Ardhi? I have heard some rumors, but they seem to be sketchy. I was hoping you could shed some light?" She fell instep beside Caitlin and waited expectantly for her to clear up this whole matter.
------------------------------------------
"You should have seem them Maggie! All staring at me like I was crazy!" Elizabeth Dolton paced angrily back-in-forth in front of her friends desk at the paper. "It was so inferiority! I don't even think they listened! There is proof of this you know! It's right at our door step! With a little investigative journalism, I believe we can prove that fearies do indeed exist!"
Elizabeth turned to see her friend staring at her with that all to familiar stare. "You think I'm crazy too, don't you?!"
"Now, Eliza, don't go..."
"Don't you 'Now, Eliza' me, Maggie! I can't believe this. I thought at least you would give me a chance! No! I gonna prove you all wrong!"
"Elizabeth, don't do anything foolish. You don't wanna loose this job. This is a good place to be. You're sure to head up from here," Maggie cautioned.
"How can I go anywhere when no one will listen? I'm going to show people I'm right. I'll prove myself!" Elizabeth grabbed her bag off her desk and rushed out. She had to get to her apartment to do some research. She was going to find these fearies.
What a look everyone will have when I come back with proof!
Caitlin looked up in surprise when someone fell into step with her, so deep in thought she was. Thinking over the faerie's question, she looked at her intently, deciding to get straight to the point. "Joycelin, right?" She smiled wryly before answering. "Perhaps you've heard that...humans were behind it?" She paused and scowled slightly, "It seems that what some of our people think are true. Humans are a violent, primitive race."
The Queen was worried, Caitlin could see it. Could the whole disaster mean that something was brewing, something that would reveal the world of Faeries to the humans? That is, if they already hadn't found out. Making a frustrated sound, Caitlin looked back at Joycelin and said, "Something's not right. I think we're going to witness some serious changes around here."
"Surely they can not all be that bad. Maybe it was just a misunderstanding. Perhaps we could reason with them, even get them to make things right with Fryn Ardhi," Joycelin said as hope filled her eyes. True, in all reality none of these were very plausible, but Joycelin just couldn't bring herself to think that everything was as bad as that. "What if the queen sent some ambassadors to them, and they could tell them off the wrong they've done?"
