Cole eyed Jaiytiea Tian suspiciously, keeping his grip still on his useless stick. He wasn’t about ready to let his guard down just because this woman said she was a friend and wouldn’t harm them. He knew that many pirates or criminals in general would say whatever it took to get what they wanted… whatever it was. “Why are you going into town and why would you want to go in with us?” he left out the fact that right now it probably wasn’t best for him to go into town anyway. He gloomily thought of the circumstances he had been thrown into. The Commodore would no doubt happily re-capture him if he showed is face in Port Royal any time soon. So did that make him really any better than this woman, whatever she was, who stood in front of him? He brought his attention back to Jaiyti, but he said nothing and withheld his name.
-
The second she saw Cole, Carmon made a break for him. She was thankful that her captor let her go to her brother. She stood quite silent beside Cole and just watched and listened to them. Frankly, she just wanted the nightmare to be over already. She wanted to wake up in her own bed, in her own plush room and laugh to herself when she remembered it was all a dream. But it wasn't. She fought back tears. She wouldn’t cry in front of the enemy. For no matter what Jaiytiea said Carmon still thought of her as an untrustworthy villain of a woman. Oh, why did I ever welcome that pirate woman, Vari, into our house! Why did I ever fool myself over the silly adventure and excitement I thought she could bring with her? She was when all of this started! Carmon bemoaned to herself.
boom
Only seconds after the thunderclap, rain began to pour down on them, rattling the tree leaves and quickly dampening the forest floor and soaking through their clothes.
----------------------------------
Emma trailed behind the others as they left the halls of cells. Through the barred windows they passed she could occasionally see a bright flash of lightning and sometimes there would be an accompanying pound of thunder. As Vari, Lotty and Aurora ran past the guards she quickly followed. Honestly, you’d think Port Royal, being the grand and respected town it was, would get better guards to make sure the scum caught in the town didn’t escape. Not saying she was scum, of course. Once they were out of the jailhouse she cast a glance around the courtyard outside. It was absolutely down pouring. Well, at least they were out of those cells. ‘Beggars can’t be choosers’ as the saying goes. Her pale eyes scanned the place for any redcoats. There were none, thankfully... for now. “Where to now?” she asked. To her knowledge no one had planned this far ahead.
-
Keeping step with Vari, Lotty was past the guards and out of the jail just as soon as possible. “Gotta love Caribbean storms,” she looked over at the others with a small, sarcastic grin. In all honesty, though, storms in the Caribbean did really seem to pop up out of no where. Sometimes even the oldest and wisest seamen couldn't predict when a storm would pop up. “Wasn’t there a plan to get a ship?” she asked in reply to Emma’s question. This was just great. She pulled these people out of jail, risking her neck, and now they would all get caught… again… because they had no plan? “What about that one kid?” she turned to Vari, hoping the other woman would know who she was talking about.
-------------------------------------------
Lord Beckett placed his hat on his head so as to not let his wig get wet… or at least to try to prevent it from getting as wet as possible. Carefully he lowered himself down into the largest longboat of them all. His finest white mare was waiting in the longboat for him. It would be tricky to mount her while in such a unstable contraption… especially with the way the sea was turning and pitching with this unexpected storm. However, mount he did. He looked down at Mercer and nodded. Mercer in turn gave the orders and they started off to land. It would only be a short time before they landed. William Turner, James Norrington and Elizabeth Swann. Those names ran through his head all through the short journey. (which was a welcome change from the Keyara Pierce name that had been haunting his mind for about half this voyage) Well, those names and another certain name. One that would get him all he wanted - Jack Sparrow. But to get to him, he would have to use his friends… or enemies. Whichever they had decided to be today. Pirates, he scoffed.
(we should probably bring Will and Liz in soon. )

[[Aye it be my turn… and I must say I’m glad to see the plot moving along so well. ]]
Jaiytiea hardly heard a word Cole said or the downpour of rain. Instead her ears were trained on the faint voices coming through the trees in front of them. <i>“Search the city and the surrounding woods… Commodore’s orders.”</i> Perfect - the dammned, stupid redcoats were coming out of the woodwork, infesting every square inch of the town. Jaiyt quickly fished around in her tunic and found what she was looking for as the voices rapidly approached. “These woods are no longer safe. You must trust me now. Take this and find a Mr. Hawkins. He works as a boat builder on the edge of town and he will barter you a ship off of this island. I will hold them off and meet you later on. Go!” She ordered, thrusting the envelope at Cole and unsheathing her katana. When she thought the two had gone, Jaiyt charged forward and cut the leader down, but more soldiers emerged from the trees like a tidal wave of red and white, spilling into the clearing. She needed to give Carmon and Cole the chance to escape, even if it was impossible for her to stand against this many men alone. Another man fell at her feet as she pushed her way into the crowd, deflecting the sharp points of the bayonets with her blade. <i>BANG!</i> The fatal gunshot to Jaiytiea’s head was drowned out by a clap of thunder and flash of lightning that violently shook the earth to its core. Her body fell bloody and lifeless to the forest floor, trampled and abandoned as the men continued to comb the woods for any more of her kind.
-----------------------------------
Vari said, pressing up against a stone wall and peering around the corner. The coast seemed clear - for now, at least. As a matter of fact, the entire city seemed abandoned, and she wondered just how lucky they had gotten. But be it a stroke of luck or not, it was odd not seeing a single redcoat patrolling the streets. She turned back to the little group of escapees. “You mean Cole, aye? He said he could get us out of here, but we’ll need to find ’im first…” And then the realization struck as she glanced at Lotty. “Weren’t ye with Ed, Sam, Carmon and Cole? Where’d ye go after the incident with Jansen?” Wherever they had gone, maybe they were still there; still safe. “We need to find ’em and get out of here as soon as possible.” There was no way the four of them would be able to sail a ship out of Port Royal all by themselves.
-----------------------------------
Edward felt himself turn pale at the Commodore’s orders to string them up by their necks. Time was running out and drastic measures needed to be taken to ensure their secure departure from this place, but a move so drastic as leaving Sam to die was out of the question. Edward shook his head and looked at her sternly. “No, Sam - <i>you</i> need to get out of here - need to find Cole and the rest… I’m already half-dead as it is.” He felt tears welling in his eyes again as the pain in his chest persisted, but kept his composure. “If you love me, you’ll listen to me.” He gently kissed her cheek and it was then the tears finally spilled down his face in small rivulets.
-----------------------------------
Keyara peered out from beneath the rim of her parasol and could hardly contain the smirk forming on her lips. These arrests would only be the first of many the Caribbean would witness, she was sure of it. But the sweetest one of all would be her own sister’s capture and punishment for her wrongdoings, and Keyara herself would happily oblige to string up the noose if need be. For too long piracy had gone unchallenged, but now the East India Company was stepping in and things would be changing for the better. Glancing over her shoulder, she found that Beckett’s dark form seemed to rise above all else, demanding respect and instilling fear in the hearts of pirates. And there, in the distance, was the Company flag waving violently in the ocean breeze - a most impressive sight indeed. The longboats eventually reached the sandy shore and Keyara was helped to her feet by one of the redcoats. With a nod of her head she offered a polite, “Thank you.”
[[I guess the redcoat could be either Gabriel or Carlist, since I feel like they haven’t spoken much yet. ]]

There was a new confusion in Aurora-Rose's head. Not that she was ever not slightly confused, but now with all of these names being thrown out by Lotty, Emma, and Vari she was having a hard time trying to keep up with the conversation. A few of the names sounded familiar, someone she had met in passing here or there, but no faces showed up in her mind.
A-Rose noted that the night brought about a sense of peace upon the Port. No one was out and having knocked out the only guards awake they were free to roam without too much fear of being caught. Or so she hoped.
She had just been rescued from her cell and there was no way in hell she was going to end up right back inside. Not this night at least.
While the other girls talked about what the plan was she stood against the stone surface near Vari, one hand tucked into a loop in her trousers, another flipping the blade she had stolen from one of the guards with surprising grace. The moonlight glinted off the metal surface in a very threatening way.
-------------
They had finally docked. Gabriel did not mind the sea or the ships, but he much preferred the dry land. Always had, and that single notion had brought him much pain over the years. Memories unbidden appeared in his mind and he pushed them away as he stood up and offered his hand to the Lady Beckett.
Once Keyara was safe on her feet he took his hand away from hers and placed it once more on his bayonet hoisted over his shoulder.
"You are most welcome my Lady." He bowed his head out of respect before moving forward to join his fellow redcoats.

[I think Alanna prefers girls to boys Bean ]
____________
"Patience Nathaniel." Alanna whispered, seeing right through the man. "I promise you can have his head, one way or another."
She observed the docking longboats filled with as many men as they could bear.
"I think this could be harder than we first thought." She said, turning to adress her crew.
Evanna sat there draped in her brother's long coat, hair dripping and sticking to her forehead in the rain. She exchanged a look with Felix and started biting her lip, hand laid on her sword's hilt.
"Are you suggesting we should retreat Cap'n?" She asked.
Alanna looked out to the longboats again weighing her options.
"There are few of us and many of them. We could take out Beckett easily but we would all be slaughtered mere moments after. Some of you..." She looked pointedly at Nathaniel. "Might be willing to die just to see his head on a platter, but I'm certainly not."
She sighed. There will be other chances, some where we might even have a chance of succeeding."
Carmel looked at her sister and nodded. "I'm with the Captain, Beckett isn't worth our lives."
"Aye!" Felix nodded along with Carmel. "He might be a rotting cur, but our lives are worth much more than that."

[ Sorry for the wait guys. Please forgive me ]
Sam was torn by her feelings. She couldn't cope with Edward who seemed to collapse and, much worse, was loosing faith. Didn't he understand that she would not leave her friend and love to the mercy of those Redcoats? But time was running out now.. she had to decide now.
Determination was then written on the freckled face of the redhead. She watched how the still Norrington's horse and the still mounted Commodore stood directly between the Lieutenant Gillette and Edward and herself. Her brown eyes suddenly flared some sort of mischief. With a swift movement Sam struck the stallion's backside and then she pushed Edward with great force between the shoulderblades into a nearby alley. She, herself, ran as fast as she could, with shackled feet, in the opposite direction in the hope that they would be distracted.
-------------
Norrington couldn't control his horse who'd been frightened by the sudden action of the pirate. The stallion pranced wildly and the Commodore had trouble to keep himself seated in his saddle. As soon as he had the horse under control again he glanced at Gillette who'd been thrown to the ground.
"Where are you waiting for you fool?" he cried out. "Get after them!"
He watched his Lieutenant ran out of sight, longing to go after him and chase the pirates as well. But that was not his place. He had to welcome the official of the East Indian Company before he was to notice the chaos in Port Royal.
"D*mned!" He cursed out loud, frustrated by all the bad fortune that had crossed his path past days.
---------------
"What?"
Horror showed in Nathaniel's eyes as he looked at his Captain. "Captain.. no.." he whispered with a sudden hoarse voice. He looked at the young woman almost pleading. He did not know why he asked her for permission; his determination did not need none. Maybe the Dutchess had become his home. It was all he had.
"You do not know what he did- please let me do this."

(perfectly fine, Will! I hope you had fun)
In the blink of an eye, the (seemingly) deserted woods woke up with the sound of voices - hushed and faint as they may be. Then everything changed. Cole was stunned into shocked silence as Jaiytiea shoved a worn envelope into his hands and ordered him to find… who was it? Some ship builder? His jaw dropped ajar and he quickly shook his head. He was about to say something but her hurried expression and the sound of footsteps and soldiers’ voices urged him to move out of there. He needed to get Carmon out of there… he could ask questions later. But… no buts. Not yet. He hurried Carmon a few paces off… just so they were hidden in the dense underbrush. Carmon’s breath was coming quick and tense by his side. With wide eyes the two watched the scene unfolding before them. BANG! Over the crashing thunder it could barely be heard, however, it could be seen. It was over. The shot rattled through the jungle. Silence. Carmon’s eyes went wide with shock, a scream was on the tip of her tongue and Cole knew it. He quickly put his hand over her mouth. “We have to go.” Carmon shook her head, frozen to that spot. The poor girl was a hair away from being completely traumatized by the sudden twist her life had taken. “Come on!” Cole whispered as loud as he dared as he dragged his sister away from the awful scene. The last thing they needed was to be caught out here by those soldiers. Cole’s own self felt numb… and not just because of the rain. He looked down at his free hand (the other one was part holding-part dragging Carmon through the jungle towards… well, he hoped the town) he was still holding that envelope which was a little worse for the wear since he had had a vise-like grip on it. He looked back at his sister. Carmon was plodding as if in a daze. He couldn’t do this to her. He couldn’t take her from all she knew… from the people she knew… from the life she knew. He didn’t even want to go this far. He had never intended to in the first place. He knew what he’d have to do, which could single-handedly be the stupidest and bravest thing he’d ever done.
After a long, wet dash through the forest they burst out onto the outskirts of Port Royal quite suddenly. Carmon blinked. She felt like just leaving the woods was getting her out of a bad dream. And they were both still alive! The rain was coming down in sheets now and both of them were soaked to the bone and muddy. Looking like this at least they certainly didn't have to worry about being easily recognized.
As if hit with a new burst of energy, Cole scampered through the sopping streets of Port Royal. “Cole?” he heard Carmon’s distressed voice. “What are you doing?” he could tell by the sound of her voice that with every bone in her body she just wanted to go home. To escape this adventure turned nightmare. She was afraid he was going to that ship builder the pirate mentioned. “Don’t worry,” he stopped and looked back at her. Her blonde hair was clinging to her wet, confused forehead. “I just… I have to see the Commodore.”
---------------------------------------------
While Lotty and Vari talked Emma continued to be on the lookout. Not that it seemed very… wait. She peered through the rain, pushing a string of wet hair from her eyes. Yes, those were two figures. “Oi,” she interrupted their conversation just as Lotty was about to say something back to Vari. “two people over there.” she jerked her head in the direction of the figures. They seemed to be heading directly towards them.
----
Don’t shoot, don’t shoot us. “This is bloody insane,” Joseph Kerringston (going by just Joe most of the time) muttered to himself as he trailed along behind the quite determined figure of a brown haired woman. If one had just been passing by the two of them the most that would’ve gone through his or her head would have been 1. Why is this couple out in this drenching rain (even with the sturdy, no frills umbrella that they had) and 2. well, that would’ve been about it. See, neither looked like pirates. In the woman’s mind this was the best way to infiltrate a town. Blend in with the townspeople. This was something they had been doing for several days now and he didn’t think it was working for them. A pirate can’t easily blend in, you know. Even with fancy clothes and a hot bath. It makes one all the more uncomfortable and awkward and… well, noticeable. However, what really made our good Joe Kerringston angry was the fact that she thought of it and not him. And now she had spotted this group of rage-tag pirate women and had gotten it in her head to go after them and help them out… what for was his question. Maybe she had gone entirely mad? “Hurry up,” she called back impatiently.
Within a few seconds they were standing face-to-face with the four drenched women. And, yes, to Joe’s shock, the women hadn’t gunned them down. Of course, if Joe had been thinking the way his partner had he would’ve realized that if the escaped pirates had fired a single shot everyone in town, including jail guards and redcoats would have been down on them in a blink of an eye.
“Hello,” Lucette Beauchamp addressed them all. Joe said nothing because to his horror he actually recognized some of them. His eyes locked on Vari. Had Lucette known all along or was this horrible fate?
---------------------------------------------
The beautiful mare more than happily lept gracefully out of the longboat just as soon as they hit shore. The graceful leap, his soldier's ordered and neat landing, everything added a certain flourish to the whole deal which pleased Lord Beckett. Of course, if it hadn’t been raining things would’ve looked grander. But, then again, when dealing with pirates and the like it was dirty business and rain like this suited the overall mood. His men were quickly hopping out of the boats and lining up, just waiting for his orders. He glanced back at his ships. The rain did make them feel more menacing, more controlling. It was like they were saying 'here's Lord Beckett! He's going to be in charge now and do things the right way.' His eyes caught Keyara’s for a brief second before he turned to business. His orders were give in a firm voice. Power, control, the steal to bring pirates to their knees. He showed all of these qualities.
