This RPG is strongly based off of the new Star Trek movie. Not the shows.
It's been over thirty years since Captain Kirk, Spock and the rest of the crew from the U.S.S. Enterprise fought again the evil Nero; a hurt and vengeful Romulan that killed Captain Kirk's father in the past. Now that all of those hardships had been pushed aside, the main crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise: Captain James T. Kirk, Spock, Bones, Uhura, Scottie, Sulu and Chekhov have retired from their positions. Now it is up to the brand new crew to save the planet as a new villian enters the galaxy; Seor the Feared. This Angosian is one blood-thirsty, bitter creature and wants to control all of the universe. Some of his races' "authorities were responsible for genetically and chemically engineering soldiers to fight in their Tarsian Wars. But the process was irreversible, and the 'super soldiers' were considered outcasts and criminals that could not function or co-exist alongside the normal population of Angosian society, and as such were forced to be permanently confined to a penal settlement on an Angosian moon." (Taken from wikipedia.com) But, to the new crews' dismay, Seor has gathered many of these 'super soldiers' and took them with him on his ship to help him alongside his journey. Some he uses as workers, some he uses for slaves and some he uses for soldiers.
"Space... the final frontier...," these are the words that the Federation and Starfleet Command used to pioneer the outreaches of space and time. Just like how the legendary Enterprises before, a future generation of officers now continue this legacy.
What happened to the original crew:
Spock and Uhura ended up getting married and having a son named Mirzaa. Captain Kirk also gets married to a beautiful woman named Mary and they have a daughter named Ginny, her being the same age as Mirzaa. Bones entered the University of Medicine and became a very well-established professor there. Scottie, Sulu and Chekhov are all still working for Starfleet Academy alongside the now old and graying Pike.
