The Horseman choked slightly on his bagel as Kit mentioned the flowers, but managed an interested "hmmm?" before pouring some tea down his neck.
Listening to the others conversation about headquarters he nodded his.. err.. *ahem* ... and agreed. "I think we should find somewhere that we can discuss the matter" he said.

"Ninja-y?" Mist repeated, a slightly confused look on her face. "Small and discreet is a must, I believe. Where shall we look?" She looked around at the others. "I haven't had as much time to explore the place as some of the others, so I'm eager to start."

Kit took it upon herself to pull the Horseman off his rear (lulz, pun), and this was a rather difficult thing to do, because the Horseman was rather tall and she was rather.... *ahem*.
"Come now, Horseman. Perhaps the fact that you've not particular eyes would help us find someplace hidden."

Suddenly The Horseman found himself vacating his chair in a manner which surprised him a great deal. He was even more surprised to see the instigator in his quick departure was none other than Kit. "Amazing" he said to himself. "Incredible that someone so er.. *ahem*... could do that".
"Are there any underground parts to this establishment?" he asked. "Any hidden compartments behind the walls?"

Coming in from the back door, Eä found herself in the kitchen. And no, contrary to popular belief, she didn't choose the staff entrance because she wanted in any way to take over the servants jobs or behave like one of the supposedly paid staff. In fact Eä despised household chores, but she couldn't help being rather shaked and perplexed from what she had just witnessed.
"Umm... Kit.. you know... "
She looked around apologetically at the others having their breakfast.
"Umm.. it's like.... you know.. you've got two bodies lying around in your back yard... umm.. and they looked frighteningly much like.. umm.. you know.. like Evening and Lydia... you know.. two of your guests..."
She paused.
"Ummm... so just wanted to let you know"
Eä took a chair and reached for a bagel... then she stood again, as if hesitating.
"Probably it's nothing... you know..."
She smiled, because Eä generally smiles a lot, and as a rule you can read a lot from the way she smiles.
"Have we got any pretzels?"

"We've already established this," Kit said exasperated. "And we've got the hard pretzels, so I'm sorry." But Kit, in fact, had stashes of soft pretzels in the kitchen.

"Perhaps my sword hilt could aid in tapping panels, so as to aid the Horseman in the search?" Mist offered.
She finished her bagel clumsily as Ea entered. "We've noticed them, truly we have," she muttered. "And now we're searching for a place to set up headquarters. You know, headquarters to solve these murder mysteries!"

"Ohh.. okay... so everything is under control...?"
She re-considered and took a bagel instead, her hand shaking just slightly, but that might have been from the old outside.
"Alright, thanks but I'm not so much of a hard pretzel-eater."
"And by the way, I did find them pretty cold stone-dead... quite eerie actually, umm.. you know.. so I didn't kill them..."
She stole a glance around as if to see if anyone felt like shooting the messenger. If anyone was persuing her life, at least she would conclude her walking life on earth on a good meal.

Mist blinked, and threw back her head as she laughed. "Under control? Well, it depends how you look at it!" She was growing rather impatient, bothered by the three deaths that had already taken place. "In my own opinion, I think action needs to be taken as quickly as possible."

Nothing could have surprised Evening more than to wake up, and find that she was dead.
Sitting up in her bed, she waved a translucent white hand in front of her face. Her eyes widened. She was dead alright! She’d never been able to see through her own hand before. Rising from her bed, she found that she could float, and that her white gown took on a new misty sparkliness of it’s own. Suddenly, the events of yesterday came rushing back to her like a headache.
She rushed down the stairs, calling for the other guests very loudly indeed.
“I’M DEAD!” she screamed.

Kit hopped excitedly behind the Horseman as he led the way, and the hopping actually help her as she hopped from side to side to see where exactly they were off to as the Horseman was rather tall and she was rather... *ahem*.
Then she heard a scream. "Gasp! Is that one of our ghosts? Or is someone else dying?"

Hearing the piercing, shrill scream from the deceased Evening, Eä almost choked on her bagel - which in fact is another quite dry food-item, despite the huge amounts of cream cheese and serrano she had stacked on it.
"Oh dear, I'm so sorry... no one should find out about their own death like that. I've always imagined an angel would come and take my hand and break the news in a gentle way and then I'd look at my entire life like in a movie theatre and I'd be the star of it all... oh and in the end all the others would clap and..."
Eä trailed off in a day dream reverie.
"Sorry, what was that again?"
