Well, obviously I dared... but having said that... I don't believe in finding clues on the drawing or the Mansion layout.... it doesn't seem fair... because if Kit (or someone else) did the drawing they were not supposed to mingle with the killer and his/her clues...

Okay, I have a new idea you guys. Instead of looking at the clues and trying to figure out who the killer is, let's look at each person and see if we can spot any inconsistencies. It might not work but...who knows?

I don't know, this looks pretty stupid actually. Maybe not, at that...
Here is what we know:
We know that Nurr was dead in her bedroom with messy pillows and a take that on a small scrap of notebook paper and she had a premonition.
Lydia and Evening were dead in the garden with a black widow spider by a hooded killer in gloves by NZ? flowers. The killer did not like touching the spider.
Kitty was dead at 11PM in the Kitchen by a Snicker's bar, presumed (but not confirmed, exactly) to be poisoned, as well as a kit-kat, polo mints, and a take 5. The killer then stuffed her into a barrel which was found to contain sheet music of Many Meetings. No candy bars of the same kind were found around. The sheet music was folded.
Any other clues?

Argh... I am so, SO tempted to read every single post again, and try and pick something out.... [don't do it JF!]....I gots to do it... I gots to know.... [it won't come to that JF! you'll figure it out].... it's gnawing at me, I--can't---hold--off-...much longer... [NOOOOOOOOOOOO!]
*sigh* Ok, I feel better now.
Note = Take That fan - revenge killing - writer - red herring
Spider = spider fan/spider hater. Sadistic way of killing someone else if the person hates spiders. Also Black Widow is an Australian species
Flowers = Australian and New Zealand. Coincidence that an Australian spider would kill someone in an Australian flowerbed? Are we looking at someone who travels, and knows their Australian insects and plants?
Night = all killings have been at night. Are we looking at an isomniac, someone who lives by night (vampire) or someone who picks their moments well?
Method of death = with the exception of Nurr, all murders have involved poison. Could Nurr have died after inhaling something poisonous? Nurr's death by pillows suggests opportunity - Black Widow spiders and poisoned chcolates suggest premeditation.
Murderer = One murderer or two? Nurr's death a revenge killing? The rest the beginnings of another serial Hallowfest killer? Could Nurr's murderer now be among the victims of the new killer? Or is the note truly a red herring? If so, wouldn't the second killing have blown the red herring theory out the water? Then why have a red herring in the first place?
Music sheet = another red herring? Set to incriminate musicians and/or LOTR fans. Why would anyone have placed it into the barrel? And why was it folded? What was it originally carried in, that meant it had to be folded to fit? Did it fall out of the killers clothes when Kitty was placed in the barrel. Why Many Meetings? Elvish?

Okay, here I go thinking again. I went looking at all the profiles again and Deria Elcarin's caught my eye(sorry deary). Her hobbies include writing(notebook paper) and playing flute and piano(the sheet music). She's a Lord of the Rings fan(Many Meets is a LOTR song if I remember correctly) and a fan of night time(all the murders were committed at night). True, all the murders being committed at night because that's when no one was around to see, but why leave anything to supposition? She also dislikes spiders.

See, the thing is, the killer just could be someone really smart who set all these clues just to befuddle us...
I don't like the thought of having 2 killers. I'd opt for 1. Feels better, and 2 killers among all 22 of us is rather a lot. I dunno. Could be wrong
I might point out that about 6 people have only posted a tiny amount or none. Kit reminded us they can be suspects though. Are they staying hidden because they're likely? Just forgot about Hallowfest? Why aren't they posting??? Argh.
Nurr could have eaten/drank something poisonous as well. What did she eat the day she died? Could there have been long-acting poison in it? Or poison on a thorn in her pillow, or who knows? Could "Take that" have been even the corner of something she wrote in her own notebook? Also, were the words both capitalized?

Thank you JF!  Of course you and everyone else laying out the clues makes things easier. My vote is for Deria Elcarin too.
2 killers would be insane, but in a sick way I think that would kind of fun! It would makes things really interesting(not that they aren't already mind you)! _________________

Maybe Nurr killed herself to become a ghost can kill people with her ghostly power.
Or not.
But now that You bring that up, JF, she wasn't really forth coming about the mode of her death was she? Now that's gonna bug me too!

Oops. Well I posted that after your big long string of stuff and forgot to check if anyone else said anything.
Well since it's all in the spirit of the thing I guess I can't say anything about being accused, can I? If I denied it you would think I was trying to put you all off, and so there's not much I can do about it. I think it's a waste of tomorrow's guess, but whatever.

I would describe her attitude as blunt. Not..hmm.. I can't remember... just, blunt.
Is she protecting someone? Does she know who the killer is? No... she wouldn't want others to die, unless she is as sadistic as last year.
But if she killed herself, and then hoped it would get everyone worried like last year... maybe that's why she wouldn't tell people.
It's very strange.
