Mist's other eyebrow joined its counterpart high on Mists's forehead. She turned and nodded to Susy in greeting, before glancing back at Kit. "You know... THE envelope, package, whatever it's called... the one everyone's been talking about!"

"The package? Or... whatever it really is, I don't know, or I oughtn't know, since it's not mine," Kit said. "I completely forgot about it when I woke up, so it must be still up in my room. I'll bring it out once everyone's up. I find it rather odd that <i>everyone</i> seems to be talking about this package instead of talking about who might be murdering all of us, honestly."

"Perhaps that very... package, or whatever it is, contains vital information for solving said murder case?" A bright, hopeful smile lit up her face.

Mist's smile went away almost as quickly as it had come. "Fine, then." She stood up and fetched herself another cup of hot tea. "But we'll never know unless we try!" She shook her finger at the ceiling, murmuring something to herself.

Kit swallowed a mouthful of pancakes. "In any case, the Lord of the Rings costume party is tonight, so I've unlocked the chest/crate upstairs in the attic. There are various costumes in there, of all shapes and sizes and there are nearly ten duplicates of each costume so you're free to wander up whenever you want to and pick out a costume. I, myself, will be going as a Hobbit. Maybe not a famous one, but it shouldn't be very hard to <i>be</i> one as it were."

Kit pondered this as well, "Well, Evening was good enough to let us into the SECRET CLOSET UNDER THE STAIRCASE, and she was corporeal at the time, so I suppose if you put your mind to it, you can do most anything you could... minus murder, because we can't be dealing with that drama. I couldn't handle it."

"Well, then the contents are secret, since we've not yet seen them and it seems that you are rather reluctant to show them to us..." Mist nonchalantly shrugged her shoulders, and finished her tea. "Or..." she shrank back slightly. "Are you, by any chance, in league with any local murderers? Not that I'm suspecting you or anything, it's just that you never know."
