[Not to intrude, but from an outsider's perspective I thought perhaps the character, Sparkle, was refusing to put on a costume to get the Horseman's attention. As I said, surely it was all in good fun. *shrug*]

"It looks like everyone's had their costume," Kit announced, giving Nurrantiel a second look at the sheer amount of stuff she had on her... or him now, as she's <i>several</i> Hobbit Heroes. "We can proceed down to the first floor. The [s]servants[/s] mice were generous enough to decorate each room like one of the locations of Middle Earth, and there are food spread all around (NOT BREAKFAST FOOD, I MAY ADD). Do enjoy yourselves!"
"Oh!" Kit added, "And be careful down the spiral staircase, I know some costumes are long." And she pulled on her dress and tugged on her big feet.

AH! She was running out of time! TT made her way through the room quickly. A costume... she needed to find a costume. After searching around, pulling things out, and making quite a mess, TT finally found something she was satisfied with. She'd dress up as Merry! He was, afterall, such a cool charrie. After dressing herself, TT stood aside, and waited to follow the rest of the guests down the stairs...

Kit was suddenly propelled to one side of the staircase to make away for a rushing TheThain coming up to pick out a costume it seemed. She led whoever was ready down to the first level and entered into the foyer, which was clearly themed Hobbiton for the entrance of the door to the mansion. Kit was pleased. The mice did a splendid job! Perhaps she should just employ the mice from now on?

TT followed Kit down the stairs. A cry of surprised delight came from her when she entered the Hobbiton room.
"Mice did this?" She asked incredulously. "Amazing"

(Looks like my husband will be going as himself, for he is a LotR character  )
Both Morfinneth and Celephinnon sat in the attic, watching everyone look through the LotR themed costumes, trying to decide who to dress up as. Morfinneth nibbled on a slice of bread she had grabbed from the dining room and her husband just laughed lightly to himself, amused watching the other guests pick through costumes. _________________ And as he looked into her eyes

Nurr looked in excitement at the hobbit decorations. "This is fabulous, Kit! It's just like Hobbiton!" Even the heavily laden tables were reminiscent of the always-hungry hobbits. Nurr hovered over the tables, taking in the scent of pies, roasting meat, and...ooh, cashews!

The Horseman followed Kit downstairs with Sparkle behind him. It was a difficult task as his crown kept falling off his.. er..*ahem* and he was aware of a multitue of stumbling females behind him.

TT wandered about the room, looking over all the exquisite decorations. She glanced up at Nurr. "Uhm... Can you eat?" She asked somewhat awkwardly.

Kit saw the spread of rather large pumpkins stacked on top of one another, although they were carved since Middle Earth didn't have such odd traditions but perhaps they could carve them at the end of the party. She moved to grab a cashew. "Nurr! Shall we test the mind over matter theory?"

Maeve picked up her long skirts, something she was used to, but completely forgot about the train trailing along behind her. She tripped on the way down the stairs and proceeded to stumble blindly into the Horseman and Sparkle in front of her. "Oh, I'm sorry!" she cried and tried to right herself.

Kit, without really waiting for Nurrantiel to ready herself (themselves?) for the cashew, Kit threw it at the general direction of her mouth to see if Nurrantiel can do as she pleases even so corporeally.
"Hmmm," Kit thought on another matter, as her mind wanders ever so fast like that. Nurrantiel is all the Hobbits, but they couldn't keep referring to Frodo/Sam/Merry/Pippin. "I shall dub you Frodowise Brandytook for the evenin'!"
She waved her arms in a majestic and celebratory manner and she said, "And I shall be called...................." And she thought. "......."
And thought some more.
"..... STELLA."
