Deria climbed up to the Attic with everyone else and waited for a revelation. Everyone knew that in the stories something always happened at about this time to help the rightful killer (well, not rightful, but..yeah...anyway...) be accused and everyone to escape. There were only a few more days left anyway...

Fragile floated up the stairs into the dim attic. Dim lighting didn't really bother her much anymore, thanks to the faint glow from her ghostly white form. There were benefits to dying in a white dress.

Kit waved Fragile over to the skeleton closet, "Mind coming more this way?" The glow from Fragile's form helped quite a bit.

Kit perused through the corners of the skeleton closet trying to find this and that. She came upon some party decorations, old silverware, party hats (she promptly took one and placed it upon her head), and looked through another shelf.
"Ah, here." Kit squinted and pulled out several things. "It's the envelope!" She exclaimed but made a face.
"It's.... sopping wet." She held it by a delicate corner.

Kit looked about and felt about, but it the only thing that's wet was the envelope and the objects in which it had been surrounded by. She shook her head, "Most curious indeed."
And then a thought struck her about the discovery of the secret door leading to the bathroom... or the secret door leading to the closet (she didn't know which).
She held the envelope away from her even further, "Oh please don't tell me this was in the toilet."

Fragile couldn't hold back an undignified giggle. "I'd actually thought the same thing, but wasn't going to bring it up..." She frowned. "I just don't understand why it would be wet, unless the murderer is very clumsy."

"Suppose it wasn't an accident," Kit said. She waved the envelope around in hopes that it would be very dry very quickly. "Suppose they took this from my room and tried to flush it away, but it wouldn't work and their method was to stash it somewhere as quick as possible."

Kit sighed and gave TheThain an exasperated look, "Shan't we just have a moment to <i>speculate</i>, honestly." Kit said, but she then proceeded to open the envelope.
"It's so <i>wet</i>, it must not have been long ago." Kit observed. The parcel was so soaked that it had ripped and so Kit just simply ripped it further to get it open. She knew it was the first envelope by the bulge that it had. She poured out the contents and several pieces fell out onto the floor.
Kit kneeled down to gather them all up again and noticed they seemed to be broken pieces to a model plane.

While Kit was engaged in opening the envelope, TT descreetly stuck out her tongue at her. Speculate indeed! How were they supposed to speculate if all they had to go on was a wet envelope?
When the envelope was open, and the contents poured out, TT stared. "A plane?!"

"Hmmm, a model plane..." Fragile leaned closer. "So why would someone be trying to destroy it? What is it about this that someone was so eager for us not to see?" She pondered. "Could a model plane have been used in any of the deaths?"
