She contemplated Fragile's question. "An interesting theory, Fragile. We had the tickets earlier and now a model plane..."

"Maybe the killer likes to travel... or maybe they just really like LOST," Fragile said. "Regardless, after much discussion of the clues, we have decided that PD possibly might be the killer."

Kit was rather surprised at Fragile's sudden determination that the killer was PD. Regardless, she had a duty to perform.
She bit down on her lip and stared down at the broken pieces of the model plane. After a few moments and few deep breaths, she lifted her head and announced:
"Hold on, I gotta consult my Palantir since my room is officially Isengard." And with that, Kit dropped the envelope and all its piece onto the floor and pulled out a palantir from.... under her dress... and peered into it.
"Is PD the murderer?" Kit asked it. And with some waves and few flashing colors and possibly a little ghostly whisper or two, although she wasn't sure if it was from the Palantir or one <i>their</i> ghosts.
After a few minutes, she tucked the palantir away where she pulled it out from and announced (officially and finally):
"PD, our resident photographer," she started. "...is not the killer, I am sorry."

Fragile sighed, half in relief, half in disappointment. "Well, at least her name is cleared... but now we know for certain that the killer is still out there, unhindered..."

Celephinnon walked into the library, where his wife was relaxing comfortably in a chair, reading a book. Morfinneth looked up from her book as he sat down in the chair next to her. "So, it has been said, PD is not the killer," Celephinnon told her. "That is the good news. The bad news is that the killer still walks among us." Morfinneth nodded. "I hope the killer is found soon," she replied. "Aye, me too, love," said Celephinnon.

Maeve hung her head sadly, very glad that PD was not around. She had been so sure of herself! Now she just felt awful and more confused than ever. She looked down at the model plane, sighed, and left the room. Perhaps she would write a bit of poetry or otherwise fall asleep.

"The more pieces we get, the more the puzzle comes together," Nurr tried to say sagely. This was sadly offset by her bizzare hobbit-times-four attire. "At any rate, I think we need to get our minds off of gloom and doom. I'm going back to Hobbiton, who wants to join me?" And with that she descended. There were perks to being dead - not having to worry about stairs or floors, for instance.

"It's a very enigmatic puzzle, at any rate," Mist said with a shrug, pushing her long, golden hair off her shoulders. "I think I'll join you in Hobbiton. Some hobbit cheer could do us good," she said, smoothing out her dress, which happened to be Eowyn's shieldmaiden dress. She ran down the stairs as fast as she could without killing herself, in order to catch up with Nurr.

[ It's just too weird to post that I'm having breakfast while it's almost time for dinner  ]
Sparkle sat in the abandoned kitchen munching on a chocolate chip cookie. On the table a few packets of emtpy choclate chip cookies were scattered and Sparkle stared brainlessly in her cup of tea. The had a huge headache of last nights party although she couldn't remember what the occasion of the party was. She was still wearing her costume as well but in her current state Sparkle was capable of sparkling anyway. Ugh, she hated hangovers. _________________

[Ah, time zones, you gotta love 'em. I'm sure I can fund some sort of government research for the Ultrapill to be distributed to us so that we can just stay up 24 hours for two weeks. I'm sure that'll be swell. We can put life on hold and just be awake for 24x14 hours. ]
The mansion was aglow in sunlight so everyone could tell that it was well beyond noon at that point. Most of the guests would have finally gone abed sometime near dawn and with a good 8 hours of sleep, waking up to the bright sunlight was a recipe for a major headache.
Suddenly, there was a knock and some sound that could be described as <i>pawwing</i> at the front door of the mansion.
