Morfinneth came running into the room, her husband following behind her. "Did I hear right?" she said. "It is true that our hostess has been murdered now?" she asked to no one in particular.

Mist had kept her vigil that night in the library. The murder of their benevolent hostess was mysterious, and bothering, indeed! But why would anyone want to kill her? Mist had had plenty of time to ponder over things that night, but the amount of answers she was able to come up with was disturbingly low. Shortly after the morning came, she wandered into the kitchen and fetched her usual cup of tea, along with a large scone. She sat down at the table and began to eat, but her solitary vigil that night had made her eager for some company. The scone quickly disappeared, followed by the cup of tea, and Mist was off again to the library. Hopefully there would be someone there!

TT awoke rather suddenly. The Hallowfest was drawing to a close. They had such a short time left.
With that in mind, TT hurried down the stairs. "COME ONE, PEOPLES!!!" she called out, alone in the hall. "We need to figure out the murderer NOW!!!"
[and, with that, I shall take my leave. Good luck guessing tonight, guys! I'll be thinking of you all... I really hope we figure it out this time. ]

[awww... TT... that superly sucks.... you need to steal someone's car and find an internet cafe]
The Horseman came downstairs earlier than normal, to find the house was very quiet and even eerie. Without a living Hostess, all seemed rather strange. He sighed as he went into the empty dining room and half heartedly began to butter a scone, but his heart was not in it. For some reason unknown to him, he felt very alone. Even Eliza had gone walkies. He sighed again, and placed the scone on his plate, and sat there very quietly.

It was probably time to get up. Susy had been lying in her bed wide awake for the past hour. Her mind kept going over the clues and guests. What was she missing? "Whatever it is, it's most likely staring me in the face," Susy mumbled to herself. Finally she pushed herself out of bed, made herself presentable then headed down stairs. In the dining room she found The Horseman buttering a scone and joined him at the table. After a few moments of silence she finally asked, "So how are you this morning?" It seemed like a foolish question. After their hostess had been murder everyone was feeling down.

The Horseman noticed Susy enter and he raised a hand in greeting. Waking himself from his stupor, he started to put jam on his scone.
"Oh, I am feeling alright, I suppose" he said in reply to Susy. "It's a strange atmosphere around here, it is too quiet and I can't shake the feeling something... is going to happen today" he added.

Finally she could hear voices coming from the other room. Mist shook herself, to be sure she was quite awake, then stepped into the dining room. She stood quiet for a moment, observing the other two.

"I know how you feel," Susy replied. "There is this feeling of suspense, like we're about to come across something big. I just hope it's not another murder. It could be positive too. Maybe we'll find out who the killer is today." Susy got her own scone and started to butter and jam it. "That could also just be wishful thinking."

The Horseman smiled weakly at Nurr's joke. At this time, even a bad joke was better than none at all.
"You are right" said The Horseman as he thumped his fist on the table. "We cannot sit around as if it is the end of the world, we must be positive and use the little grey cells to figure this out" he said, standing to his full height.

Mist stepped closer to the others. "Of course we must have hope, and of course we must get thinking!" She tapped her sword meaningfully. "We've done far too little thinking. We can't be having any more of us killed! Anyone care to join me in the secret room under the stairs?"

Kitty floated into the kitchen through a wall and cheerfully greeted the other guests. "Good morning, everyone! Has anyone had any sort of revelation in the night about our killer? Plane tickets, model planes, spiders, red yarn, poisoned snickers, sheet music...none of these clues seem to really add up." Settling herself at the table, Kitty began to sort the clues out for herself.

Mist smiled, but inwardly shivered at Kitty's comments. "No, I didn't see the killer, but... nevermind that thought, actually," she finished, appearing very confused. Shaking her head, she stepped toward the door.
