Kit merely blinked at Kitty's frustrations. She can agree that finding the killer is rather important, but one must never lose one's mental stability, even as a ghost.

It's strange how death could teach Kit that stress was not worth it at all.

"Another meeting?" PD hurried after everyone else into the Secret Closet. Disappointed to see her Favorite Spot had already been taken she had to satisfy herself with a place on the floor.

Being that there were very little discussion going on, she decided to head to the library to grab a book or two to bring back. Kit excused herself and flew through the wall and onward towards the libary.

Upon her arrival in the library, she found several books scattered all over the sitting table. Upon reading the titles, she saw that they were The Silmarillion, Louis XIV: An Informal Portrait, The Silver Trumpet, and War in Heaven. She went straight to one of the shelves and picked out a Jane Austen novel, because she just needed a bit of a good romance and used her jedi ghost mind powers to lift and went back to the SECRET CLOSET UNDER THE STAIRS.

Temporarily struck dumb by Eä's sheer awesomeness, it took Kitty a moment to realize she was being stood...in. "Oh!" Kitty exclaimed, jumping (which, for a ghost, was really more like hovering slightly higher for a moment). "Sorry dear," Kitty said. "Now, where were we? Oh yes, the murderer."

PD sighed, saying with resignation "I'm just about stumped regarding that murderer..."

Eä hugged herself, partly from being half frozen to death by Kitty's ghostly inner coolness and partly in order to take up as little space as possible with all the ghosts in the room.

"The murderess."
Eä corrected Kitty, right as it pleased the ghostly Kit to re-appear, once again showing off her supernatural jedi-powers.

"Welcome back, what kind of book did you randomly pick out, dear hostess?"

Noticing the lack of space in the room, Kitty was struck by an idea. Pressing backwards, Kitty floated back into the wall behind her until only her head was left in the closet. "Ah hah!" Kitty exclaimed, pleased with her idea. "Now, what about the clue of the red yarn. We haven't discussed that much."

"Pride and Prejudice, I do believe," Kit said. "Just about the only Jane Austen novel I've read, but I could care to read it again."

"Excellent book," PD commented.

Deria was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a decent number of people in the closet now, and most of whom she could count on (as they had been already accused or were..er..you know..dead). But she, like everyone else, was too confused, and she was most definitely reluctant to put forth names at the moment without proof. There were several people it could be, but again, no proof. The clues were simply too diverse and at the same time too conclusive. And then there were the ones that could just be coincidence! Why...?

Eä exhaled, having finally room to breathe and giggled at Kitty's head stuck in the wall.

"Pride & Prejudice... nice choice, I suppose. But promise me you read Northanger Abbey sometime in the near eternity. It was the first Jane Austen novel I read and I love it."

"I prefer Emma" myself, piped up the Horseman. "I am such a romantic" he added.

PD gave the Horseman a quizzical look and tried her best to keep from giggling.

"I believe Gary Oldman has a collection of Jane Austen first editions" he said, giving PD his best stare.

Eä joined the club practising quizzical looks in The Horseman's general direction.

"Emma is too annoying for her own good... and she ends up with a man who is frighteningly old for her... like too many of Austen's heroines..."

Susy also gave The Horseman a quizzical look. "I didn't know men read Jane Austen," Susy told him. "I like Sense and Sensibility. Marianne is my favorite."
