Ikr? Makes no sense whatsoever. You can't save daylight, you sillyhead person who invented time counting and such.
We still have a few hours to midnight now.
But if it changes right at midnight...
AAAARGHHH I CAN'T WAIT FOR NANOWRIMO ANY LONGER DARN YOU TIME.
-ETA-
Wait what?

It changes back at 2 am for me and I'm East Coast USA. Are you pacific coast, Violet? 'Cuz if you are, I think it changes around 11 for you... or maybe it was midnight... Or are you mountain time?

Ours doesn't start til 2am here either... we just generally set our clocks back before we go to bed so they're set back in the morning... thus it's only 11 here. lol
I, too, don't really understand the purpose of DST, Violet... never have.
ummm, all I know is that it's sorta nifty feeling like you gained an hour when... in reality you... didn't. lol

I'm mountain time, and I haven't the slightest clue, because this makes no sense. But dad already changed all the clocks, because he went to bed early...
I have to go now, but I'll back at midnight.
Whenever that is.

Time is confusing. It's always against you. There's never enough of it.
'Nuff said.
We changed our clocks last weekend. It's 4.27am here. And that's all I have to add really.

That means currently you're only four hours ahead of us, JF. Soon in two hours or so, you will then again be 5 hours ahead of us, like normal.

Gah. Between time zones and DST time is just...gah... so strange and... confusing and... frustraiting. You name it.
Anyway, I still need to be heading off to bed... *yawns*

Ooh, one hour closer.
Whoop.
Tell Mr. Time next year when we have this, I want us on the same time frame. Or else.

Well, if we do a summertime event like this, we might as well be in the same time frame because no one would ever have to go to sleep. Ever.

Honestly, I don't see what the problem is with haveing EVERYONE at 1AM. I mean, sure for some people it'd be in the middle of the afternoon and for other's it'd be at night but who cares? After all we, in America, have different seasons then people in Austrailia... but do we call our winter summer when they're having summer? No. Do they call their winter summer when we're having summer? No. I don't see why time cannot be the same...
[/pointless rant]
alright. NOW I'm off.
btw, Kit, I object to that statement. In the summertime I need just as much sleep as the wintertime... unless you want Zombie PD walking around.

I totally understand where you're coming from, PD.
But I would rather not have to get up 3 am in the morning just because it's work hour in the UK.

Yes, but what if it's work hour for you too? What if everyone got in the condition that 3 AM in your part of the world meant work hour instead of sleep hour like it does now? Or if... gahhh... if light didn't matter... so some people worked in the dark and some in the light... or something... gah.
