Oh! Hello. Um, I've read LoTR, the Hobbit, some of the lost tales Part 1 and the Silmarillion. I own many, many copies of LoTR: One I lent to a friend last christmas and haven't seen since. (must be she likes it!!) The lost tales 1 I borrowed from a friend; I've only just finished the Cottage of Lost Play on that one, and I also have a nifty book called A Tolkien Miscellany. I think that's about it...
Thanks for letting me join!

Hello everyone . I have: " The Silmarillion", "The Hobbit", and "The Lord of the Rings" Trilogy ( separate books). I want to get "Unfinished Tales", because after reading "The Silmarillion" (for the first time! ), I want to know more about the history of Middle earth.

I have The Lord of the Rings (in one book) in the German Versions - because I´m German. But I´ve read most of the other Tolkien books and I´m going to read LotR in English.

ForeverFrodo, You're German? Hey, me, too! Have you read the old or the new translation of LOTR? I think the new one is horrible..(that's the one where Sam calls Frodo "Chef" instead of "Herr") I never read all of it.... I prefer the old one or the english original.
