Thanks, FF! TARDIS is <3
And you're welcome for the texture!
Yes, I agree with you about the grades, but there are a lot of people in my university that judge you because of the grades you get. How immature, I know.
Thanks! I kinda like it too. Yeah, come on, River/10 was amazing. I love those episodes! It's all so mysterious, you keep asking yourself "Oh my, who is this woman, and why does she know the REAL NAME of the Doctor?!". It's amazing
And Nurr, I agree with FF!!
Btw, FF, my parents are getting me the Doctor Who 4 seasons DVD BOX for my birthday (which is in 2 weeks more or less) !!! I can't wait!!
Can't wait to see your icon, btw. No hurry, I'm so busy as well. Another exam next week T_T

Hi Rev, I'm so sorry for the long wait. At last I got around to finish my next icon:
I know River/10 is amazing, but it still has an odd feeling about it because of Rose. I didn't like River at first, I kept thinking, "keep away from the Doctor, you're not Rose!" I can't help it. Which doesn't mean that I don't like these episodes, of course.
That's so amazing! I've been thinking of buying the DVD box as well, but it's still very expensive, so I'm not sure yet.
Oh, and I love your new siggy! I REALLY have to watch E&E quite soon.
Can't wait for Christmas, and yet I dread Ten's last day on screen. I don't even want to think about it yet. Meanwhile, I'm watching the BBC Merlin series to cheer me up Do you know them? Amazing and cute stuff, I have to say. Although they're not quite as great as DW, but still.

That's a lovely icon, FF! I'd like to buy that shirt, sooner or later
Yeah I know, but I like quite a lot 10/River lately. Even if Rose will always be better
Yay, I ordered my DVD boxset today, should arrive next week. I can't wait!!!
I heard about Merlin, maybe I will start watching it during the winter break. I've been watching Flash-Forward lately, dunno if you heard about it. It was quite cool at the beginning, now a bit less, but always interesting
My icon will be up soon, btw, probably as soon as I finish this week's exam...

Ahh I love it Rev! Go Face of Boe!! You know, I was quite shocked to find out it's Jack... but never mind.
How did your exam go?
I watched the first episode of Flash-Forward, and I looked quite ok, but this mystery sort of stuff is just not what I usually prefer. I once was quite into LOST, too, but it all got too confusing to follow for me. Merlin is more my style, all cool and witty and fantasy!
Icon will be up soon.

Thanks
My exam went fine, I got 27/34 and I'm satisfied. I can't wait for winter break, though. This saturday I'm going to Paris with my boyfriend, also. We're going to stay there until Monday, which is my birthday
Also, I should receive my DW box set in a few days, I can't wait!!
I may start watching Merlin, sooner or later
Can't wait to see your icon!

BEWARE: THE END OF TIME SPOILERS!
All righty, Rev, I watched EoT yesterday. This is just a random list of my thoughts and feelings on the episode.
First of all: Gosh, it broke my heart to the see the Doctor even lonelier than ever, crying for everything he has lost. That scene in the café when he talks with Wilf about dying... oh boy. At the same time, it was even sadder because of its double meaning. "Even if I change it feels like dying. Everything I am dies. Some new man goes sauntering away. And I am dead." - you could feel that David was talking about his own end at Doctor Who, too. I can't express how sad I am right now. I DON'T WANT HIM TO DIE!!!!!!!
The episode itself was kind of a mixed bag. I thought some parts of it simply brilliant (The Doctor talking to Wilf, Lucy Saxon sacrificing her life to stop the Master from coming back, the Doctor facing the Master), some were a bit overdone (the Master's enormous jumps - come on, what did they do that for? it was ridiculous). I liked how they conveyed an overall dark mood and still managed to put some funny scenes in (YAY MINNIE!! I LOVE YOU!!). My overall feeling on the storyline is, at the moment, pure confusion. I just don't manage to put all the clues together. What's this stuff about some Sith-like Timelords returning? Why is the Master being used by them? So the drums are real? I thought the timewar was timelocked, to how did they manage to escape? (Still, Davros escaped, too.) Why would the Timlords want the end of time itself? Why is everyone having these dreams? Why did they forget them? What was meant by "the humans turned to a pagan rite"? How can Donna's subconsciousness be helping the Doctor by buying that book for Wilf, even though she can't know anything about that guy and what is to come? And, most importantly, who is that woman that's talking to Wilf?
I just feel there are a lot of clues, even in Journey's End and The Sound of Drums, and I just can't bring them all together. My mind is a bubbling soup of time paradoxes and I just don't understand how these things relate to each other. It's driving me crazy!
I just hope Donna isn't going to die. Nor Wilf.
On the one hand, I desperately want New Year's Day of arrive, on the other hand, I don't. I want to know the solution to all these riddles, but...
PLEASE, DOCTOR, DON'T DIE!!! DON'T DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

END OF TIME SPOILERS!!!
FF, it's incredible how much we think alike
Ok, let's begin.
First of all, my favorite scenes have to be:
-the one in the cafè with Wilf. Gosh, it broke my heart again and again and again to see him so lonely, to see him cry (in fact, I was already crying 10 minutes after I started watching the episode), but gosh, that is MY Doctor. Not some kind of crazy "Time-lord victorious". If you know what I mean.
-the talk he has with the Master, when the Master makes him "hear" the drums. The part about Gallifrey, and all that bit in general.
I agree about how ridiculous is the Master jumping around like a mix of the Hulk and Storm from X-Men. But John Simm is such a great actor, I was so happy to see him again. Wilf, he's the best He made me laught a lot (when his phone is ringing and he answers the gun instead, or when he sees the aliens and says something like "Oh Lord, they are cactuses"). Donna is amazing as ever, even if we didn't see her much in this episode. I so hope they're not going to die. I also hope that the Doctor isn't going to die, but I know that's impossible
I have the same doubts that you have. The thing that shocked me the most were the Time-lords. I mean, I heard rumors about Gallifrey returning and stuff like that, but...And again, these look like "bad" time-lords, if you know what I mean. Why would they want "the end of time itself?". Again, back to the doubts.
Don't go crazy, FF, my mind is confused as well!
Anyway, I really liked this episode. Even if it makes me sad, even if the Master makes me laugh and doesn't scare me much
Waters of Mars made me sad because I thought they were going to CHANGE the Doctor, make him something different, but I was wrong, I guess.
I can't think about the fact that the Doctor is going to die, otherwise I'll start crying.
I promise that my icon will be up soon, probably today
(gosh I feel that there's so much to say about The End of Time and I can't express it with words. I wish that we lived in the same place, so that we could actually talk about it... )

I just popped in to say that I love you've changed the name to "battle and discussion thread".
And I've now finished two disks of season one! Met the Dalek.

Nurr:
Lol, thanks. I felt it was about time to change the name It's so great you've watched the Dalek episode already! Did you like it so far? Let me promise you: It will get even better once you reach Season 2
SPOILERS!
I absolutely agree about everything you said. I know what you mean about him being more "himself" again, and I'm also glad that this WoM change doesn't seem to be permanent.
Oh gosh, when Wilf asks him if Donna would make him laugh again, just to see his teary-eyed nod broke my heart. I so wish he could go back to the happy, sorrowless character he was in Season 2, but still... to see him suffering makes me love him even more, as I've said once before.
Yes, the Master was great, and it's great to see him back. He wasn't as scary as in Sound of Drums, I thought. And his eating manners made me giggle
Oh, and I also liked "shimmer shimmer"

I'm re-watching season 1, Nurr, and I've just seen Dalek again, isn't it amazing?
You're gonna love Season 2, I swear
And you so have to join our discussion thread everytime that you see a new episode, so that we can all faint thinking about the awesomeness of the Doctor (aaaand David Tennant ).
And I love the new title, FF
SPOILERS!!
Exactly what I meant. Oh, that bit with Donna was just so... *burst into tears*. I swear, I felt my arms hurt because I wanted to hug the Doctor so much. Oh my, I love him so much. He's so...the Doctor. But not only the Doctor, he's the 10th Doctor, and he's different from the 9th, and from the future 11th. As he said, when he dies, it feels like dying. Everything he was, dies. It's never gonna be like him again. And this makes me so sad.
Yeah, yay for the Master. I really loved the scene where he takes the Doctor's face in his hands and makes him hear the drums.
Ahah, when the Master "knows" 4 times I couldn't stop laughting. I was like "Do you call this knocking?!"
Gosh I can't wait for screencaps...
edit.
Here is my volley:

Aw, I love it! Though it also broke my heart, along with your new banner.... Where did you get the screencaps from so quickly?
I.can't.wait.for.Friday.
You know, I had the most amazing fantastical idea this morning. What if the whole thing about David leaving DW was just hoax to surprise everyone? What if the news about Matt Smith wasn't true at all, so the finale of TEOT would be more surprising? What it the Doctor lives for one more season after all?
This would be so wonderful! I know it isn't true, but we can still pretend unto the last minute, can't we?
