That shouldn't make even the slightest difference. To anyone. ANYWAY...
Samuel, even though I really disliked him when he was first introduced, is really growing on me. I love that fact that he's manipulating EVERYONE around him, while still not even sure what he's doing himself. It's great, actually.
I'm also totally loving the Sylar storyline. I, like Raivynn, thought that was an awful idea, but I'm so digging it. Also, the Matt/Sylar line had been so compelling. I really missed Sylar. Not emo!Sylar like he was all last season, but season 1 Sylar, where he was just evil because he liked it.

Samuel's practically the only reason why I'll consider watching Heroes. I really want Hiro to die. He's the new Idiot Hero in Heroes, I think.

New idiot?
lol he's been a moron for ages now. The writing of Hiro has been appauling, he used to be my favourite character and now he's little more than a charicature.
But I agree...Samuel IS amazing. If I was a super, I'd totally join the Carnies. I have to say though...am I the only one getting Magneto-esque vibes from Samuel? He's not a simple black/white villain, he's got so many layers and subtleties I cannot get enough.

Me too, Raivynn. Creating a new family for "special" people? Check. Rather friendly? Check. Has his own sense of justice? Check. Doesn't seem to see anything wrong with killing people if they harm "supers"? Double Check. One of my favourite scenes is when he brought down that police station.

That's tragic.
My main problem (aside from the silliness Hiro has gotten himself into) with Heroes is the villains. Linderman and Adam were just so so so awesome. They were menacing and had plots that were rather complex and threatening. At the same time, they were affable, much like Ra's al Ghul or Ozymandias. Then came Arthur Petrelli. So he kills Adam and Maury Parkman like it's nothing, when the previous season build up how dangerous those two guys are. Linderman was reduced to a puppet for Arthur. Thanks to Peter, Arthur has almost every power in the 'verse and he does nothing with them! He sits down, draws some pretty pictures, and sends rather moronic guys to do his stuff. Speaking of, the whole Level 5 villains was a massive disappointment. Whatever happened to Angela's dream in the second episode in the third season. I wanted to see THAT! Not Arthur bloody Petrelli.
Traditionally, some villains have some sort of reason why they can't run around and do what they want and if they don't, they were expected to go out and do it. The most involved Arthur got was when he intervened with Hiro and took the catalyst and Hiro's abilities. That's it! Which is probably why Samuel came as a blessing to me. He was powerful and he knew it. He went out himself to accomplish his goals whatever they might be. Also, Sylar. Yes, I think he's hot and he's awesome but the whole running-around-killing-people is getting a wee bit old, guys. He isn't Anton Chigurh. Get rid of him if you must or try to find a workable niche for that guy. Mind you, I do like this whole thing that Volume 5 has going for him but now that's gone....

I sort of agree with you. But Adam had no choice really, Arthur's power was too great even for him. But I was sad to see him go, he was a joy to watch every week even during the Japan fiasco.
I really think it's time for Sylar to go. It's kinda pointless having him so damn powerful, yet they reduce Peter to one power at a time? What Teh Eff??
I want a big monumental battle to end all battles with Pete and Gabe. The fight they had in the hospital was bad@ss. I mean...a nailgun?? eff yes moar plz

Well, has it occurred to Arthur "Gee, these new guys I'm going to get are complete morons. Oh look, here's a guy who has had 400 years of experience, fought in god knows how many wars, a rather good liar, intelligent, and is immortal to boot. Maybe all I need is to borrow his blood so I can get up and running and promise him some vague thing to keep him busy. Meanwhile I've got myself a pretty darn good ally." I don't remember shouting at the telly that loudly in disgust before until when he died.
Oh god, they'll never get that done. They'll end up showing Claire's eyeball or something behind closed doors. Mind, I haven't seen the nail gun part yet.

Arthur was a bit crap...but it was Robert Forrester so I can forgive some of it. Cause he's bad ass.
I think it was implied (or said can't remember) that Adam had done him wrong. So it was sort of vengeance. The look of fear in his eyes sort of gave it away. But still, I wished Adam was still alive *poutyface*
Claire's eye ugh that was horrible.
Gotta see the nailgun scene...guhhhh so full of epic win

Finally saw it. And yeah, that was awesome.
I just hope Sylar doesn't replace Samuel as the main villain, like he did with Danko and Arthur Petrelli. Samuel really deserves to have his run of the show.

Yeah Hiros gotten kind of annoying but that last episode he was in? The ending? "Must save Watson. Beam me up Scotty" And the look on Sam's face when he disapeared? I was rolling out of my chair laughing!
And I am getting tired of the Nathlar story. I mean the Matlar bit was really funny with them sabotoging(sp?) each other. But its also painful to watch Nathan and Sylar... even though I think Nathans finaly gone for good.
I'm still loving Peter! I mean the part with the nailgun? Pure awesomeness!

I loved the Nylar & Matlar stuff. Sylar in Matt's head was just too funny for words. But yeah it had to come to it's natural end. I'm just sad that Nathan is really gone this time.

I'm a consistent Sylar fangirl, no matter what happens, but I am ridiculously sick of them trying to give him all these ridiculous storylines. I loved the Natlar/Matlar storylines, because it was Sylar just because a jerk like he used to be. I just want him to chill his pants with the soul searching and just rage everything and not be stupid, which has apparently been impossible to him for like, four seasons.
And I agree that Samuel should have his full run of the show, and be the main villain, but you guys know that's not going to happen. They introduce a whole new set of characters in one season, and they're all dead by the end of it. That's the Heroes formula, and always has been. Samuel's clock is ticking.
