I would do a bit of the pre-attack stuff.... like even Norrie's promotion part and stuff maybe. *le nod* mostly 'cause I have a few ideas for where to start Cole and Carmon off. :whistle:

PD! :hug: *tacklehugsback*

Andrea & Co do not belong to the Black Pearl crew do they?

And I think the attack of Port Royal will be a suitable starting point :)

I'm off to bed now dearies, so I'll post tommorow ;)

Nighty night!

Edit: PD's idea is fine with me as well! :-D

Andrea does *Le nod* Since before they got cursed. And I agree, a bit of pre-attack would be good just to clear the old hornpipes :-D

Okay Will, lovey. Have a good sleep. I should really do the same but meh, I'm wide awake :P

Before this gets started could I join *sheepish grin*

with A-Rose, Gabe, and Dante?

Gabriel Phillips
(Gabe, Gabbi)
Actor: Heath Ledger

Pictures: http://content7.flixster.com/photo/53/5 ... 65_gal.jpg
http://suzieaustin.com/images/knights-tale.jpg

Gender: Male

Siblings: Roxanne Phillips [deceased]

Parents: Jonathon Phillips [Father] (deceased), Lorilynn Phillips [Mother] (deceased)

Age: 26

Date of Birth: August 8th

Hair: Blonde with darker roots that curl naturally

Eyes: Hazel

Apparel: A white collared shirt kept open revealing a gold chain that he wears along with a tattered black and white thin stripped cloth that wraps around his neck and rests against his chest. He normally pushes the shirt to his elbows exposing the scar running across his left forearm. He wears faded brown trousers tucked away into deep gray boots that buckle at the sides and reach up to just below his knees.

Personality: Gabriel is not much of a people person. He normally keeps to himself and likes it that way, much of an opposite of his best friend since childhood, A-Rose. Although he does not talk much, he makes up for it with the skill of his blade and a quick wit when needed.

Weapons: A cutlass and a pistol.

Background/History: Gabriel was born to a man of the royal military and a mother of distant relation of royalty. He was brought up to be proper and just, but then he met Aurora and his entire world flipped upside down. They were almost complete opposites but became fast friends and he saw a life not constricted by rules and propriety. Gabriel didn't know when he met A-Rose that he would be facing the biggest choice of his life, should he stick with the life that he was brought up in, or be nothing like himself and become a rebel... a pirate...[brief but I like to play their histories out]

Aurora-Rose Delour
(A-Rose)
Actress: Keira Knightley

Pictures: http://www.sweetandtalented.com/images/ ... ley108.jpg
http://www.sweetandtalented.com/images/ ... tley43.jpg
http://www.sweetandtalented.com/images/ ... tley23.jpg

Gender: Female

Siblings: None

Parents: Breylin Delour [Father] (deceased), Katherine Delour [Mother] (deceased)

Age: 23

Date of Birth: November 6th

Hair: A honey auburn that is almost untameable that falls to her chest

Eyes: Brown

Apparel: Normally she wears a puffy white shirt that extends and cinches to and at her wrists where it ruffles slightly usually worn beneath a deep red vest. Occasionally she wears a petticoat as well, but only when she is in the mood for a more... formal attire... she rarely goes anywhere without something on her head, whether that be her tri-corner hat or a bandana, or even a strap of cloth that goes around her forehead and tucks in beneath her hair. She wears sable trousers with knee high dark brown boots that have multiple buckles and straps along the sides.

Personality: Unlike her counterpart Gabriel, she is quite outgoing if not a bit strange. Though this strangeness comes off as a unique confidence and general upbeat manner. She can be serious and aggressive when she needs to be, but otherwise she is just a fun pirate to be around.

Weapons: A cutlass and a pistol, with a blade tucked away at her side most of the time.

Background/History: Aurora-Rose grew up in the outskirts of town, her father was a blacksmith and her mother was a seamstress. From birth she didn't know much about the riches and finer things in life, that was until she met Gabriel who was of a higher status, his father being one of the commodores men. They became fast friends, but Aurora saw early on that this life she was living was not for her, and having seen the life of the wealthy she took up piracy never looking back... [brief but I like to play their histories out]

DANTE GALLOWAY
Pictures: http://lesta.deviantart.com/art/pirate- ... y-61881990

Age: 31

Date of Birth: Nov 17th

Hair: Black and long

Eyes: dark amber

Apparel:
[incognito: http://www.piratemerch.com/images/pirat ... 100940.jpg ]
[pirate: http://www.forestcreekrenaissance.com/i ... Outfit.jpg ]

Personality: Gallow is a sly character, loves trickery and is cunning. He uses his intelligence in the most unorthodox ways and can have a bit confusing logic at times but it always seems to work out in the end. He can be a bit arrogant having traveled the seven seas all of his life and is obsessed with fine things.

Weapons: His lucky black pistol

Background/History: Dante spent most of his life as a land pirate as it were, spending his days pillaging and plundering local towns and thriving businesses. Most of the stolen trinkets he gave to his many lovers, but as he got older a new possession took over him and that was the call of the sea. The land wasn't enough for him any more and he wanted to spend his days traveling above Davy Jone's locker with Elijah and Loraline. Both of whom he met during his days in Port. Most times he may not understand the workings of these two unlike Pirates, but they are his companions none the less.

[Okay then, I declare this roleplay officially started!]

Andrea stared into the setting sun, hoping to lose herself in it's beauty. There was a faint breeze in the air, but she couldn't feel it. She only knew of it's existence as it flicked her hair around her pale face. She sighed as she thought upon her situation and the situation of the rest of the crew. They were cursed. She couldn't feel, she couldn't taste, she couldn't sleep, but her lack of sleep had nothing to do with her curse, that was just her in general. But most importantly; she hadn't aged a day in ten years. She was tired, tired of her life. She longed to be back home in Ireland, running through the meadows and the orchids with her cousins, helping her grandmother prepare glorious feasts and just being with her family. But she couldn't go back, not without bringing shame both upon herself and them. She was a pirate, caught up in the wirlwind life. Her family were respectable ship builders, well know ship builders at that. Catering for the East India Trading company and the Royal Navy. If she returned, after all the things she'd done, she would drag them down into the dirt. She was a different person now, hardened by the life she led, poisoned by the company she kept and by the cruelness of the world. She was tainted.

[Only something small I'm afraid, but atleast it gets us going :)]

(Yayyyy! I've been plotting for my post beforehand so here it is! =) )

Guinevere strolled up the walkway in the dark, ignoring the man asking for her name, holding a lantern. “Hey, you!” he cried. “You, madam! A name, if you please! All entering Port Royal must provide a name.”
The tall, slim woman with brownish-red hair spun on her heel, turning round to face the man, looming above him in height. She removed a coin from the pocket of her green woolen cloak and placed it in his palm. “Let’s say we forget the name, shall we?” she enquired softly. The man paled and nodded, and Guinevere turned around again. Quite a bit of money had come her way recently, and one coin was hardly a loss to her. She could bribe and pay off who she wished. For a pirate, that came in most useful indeed.
First things first, she needed to find a ship. She had been dropped off by her old crew, and she intended to find a new one to join. Despite the fact that her old ship had begun to cramp her style somewhat, she had other reasons. Old alliances needed to be cut off, dead. New ones had to be made. Staying in the same area for too long was dangerous. The world was a hard place for a pirate these days, not to mention pirates who had been very nearly tried for witchcraft over ten years ago.
All the same, Port Royal wasn’t exactly the safest place for such as her. It was filled with them, governor’s men all over the place. She had come to despise everything about her old life; her luxurious home, her grand upbringing, the fact that she had been very nearly married off to a wealthy gentleman. That he had died on their wedding day had been no fault of hers, whatever the town gossips had said. Their gossiping had turned into a witch hunt, and labeled her old name, Amy Richards, as one of a scheming enchantress.
She had a new life now. One that meant no one would ever make her fear again. The power of fear lay in her hands. Still, it was hard to imagine that this soft-spoken woman could be fearsome, let alone one who would resort to piracy. But then first impressions are often wrong.
She walked down the street, listening to the sea. A lot of pirates made the mistake of dressing like pirates. She made no such mistake, but dressed as a woman, in simple woman’s clothes. She looked the type of woman who would have doors opened for her, who, if seen amidst an attack, would be swept away, considered a victim and not the attacker. That had happened once, when her crew had attacked an enemy vessel, and the captain, poor soul, had thought her a hostage. She had killed him with one well-aimed bullet.
She wondered if there was a tavern around here; she knew that pirates often came to Port Royal, however unwise the decision, seeing as the port kept a rather unpleasant block of cells just ready for occupiers. But still, pirates all too often embraced peril. The rumours of the Black Pearl only proved this. Guinevere had heard the tales; a ship crewed by the undead, cursed. The stories did not make a shiver go down her spine; she was beyond such frights. Yet all the same, she found it interesting. Amongst the accusations that had circulated around her all those years ago was the one that she had bound a spell about herself that enabled her never to die. She was as mortal as any woman, and that accusation in particular was one of the most foolish, and she wondered what it would actually be like to live forever.
It would be agonizingly lonely, probably. Turning her mind to other matters, she focused her gaze straight ahead of her, not appearing to look from one side to the other. Guinevere had perfected nonchalance. It was never good to appear conspicuous. The elegant way she carried herself probably helped; she had been a noblewoman once, and the strict rules of deportment had been drilled into her from a young age. However, she would never speak a word of her past. She never had in all this time, and she never would.

Located in a fine part of Port Royal - not to far from the governor’s mansion or the sea and docks - the Jansen-Applegate home was quiet and peaceful tonight - almost forebodingly so. Many of the inhabitants had long since retired. The fire crackled low in the drawing-room’s hearth - the only room in the house that was animated at the moment. Beside it, relaxed in a fine chair, was Nicolas Applegate. His nose was in a book, his mind was senseless to the things around him. Instead it was wandering through a far away time and place which resembled Port Royal in no way whatsoever. He flipped the page and devoured its contents. The only thing that finally brought him out of his trance was the dying fire. It was burning so low the black letters on the page before him were fading into the darkness. He finally set the volume aside and stood, stretching and fumbling around for a candle. He poked at the fire, it burst back to life and again spewed forth a wave of heat. He also lit a candle for much needed extra light. Carrying it around the room he used its flame to light several others. Now there would be adequate (more than adequate actually) light for several hours worth of good reading.

(btw, Will, I was wondering if Norrie knows Cole and Carmon in this one as well?)

The moonlight awakened the brunette and she sighed knowing that she was going to have to get out of bed soon. The thought was not a pleasant one but one of necessity. Turning her head to the side she saw Gabriel and her heart twisted in her chest.

This was a game between them and no one ever won.

Whenever she was in Port she would look for Gabe and would be swept away by his charms as he was enraptured by her wildness. They would spend hours together before falling asleep.

It was always just one night.

Slipping from beneath the covers she leaned down and grabbed her boots that had been discarded and slid them on slowly, always looking over her shoulder to make sure that the blonde still slept. Which he always did.

Once her shoes were on she tip-toed to the table where her hat rested, propped up on a stack of boots. Fitting it onto her head with a tilt she made her way back to the bed for one final check on the sleeping man.

"Until next time..." She whispered, leaning forward and brushing her lips over the wayward strands against his temple before heading out the front door, not without grabbing her effects of course.

Without thought her feet carried her to a small shoddy home near the docks of the Port and just as silently as she left Gabriel's she entered Dante's.

"How was your reunion?" Dante was sitting by the hearth, his black boots resting on a pile of wood while his back rested against the dilapidated couch.

"Awful, as always." Aurora remarked, but the glint in her eyes and the twitch of her lip said differently.

"Uh-huh. Anyways I've gotten word that a ship is coming sometime soon. We should see if we can dock otherwise we'll be stuck here until Elijah and his crew find their way into port, which I highly doubt due to his utter ineptness."

[Elijah and Linny will be small charries:: Had to start with some Roriel angst!!]

Splishhhhh...wooshh...splishhaa....

The waves whispered along the current that lead the Pearl slowly towards its next destination, unknown to Fyde, not that he cared. His dirty blond and dark black mixed hair (a result from being the brood of a gypsy mother and a pirate-of-a-father - the oddest of pairings have the oddest results of offspring, and Fyde was no exception to that statistic) blew with the wind as he leaned intertwined with the ropes, listening to the waves. He sighed, but no one heard it as it was lost with the wind. He absently pulled another pebble from his pocket and threw it into the ocean as his thoughts ran.

What happened to me? Oh yeah, greed turned me inhuman. And you'd think it would be something cool, but no...a walking corpse, breathing breathes I don't deserve, and now, no longer want...following in my fathers footsteps, except not a drunken sailor, just a forever-living-no-feeling-typically-corpsish-probably-bad-smelling pirate.

Fyde looked out in the ocean, stretching farther than the eye could see; a sight that once comforted him. Now, all he wanted to do was drown in it.

"Yo ho, ho, a pirate's life for me..." He muttered lifelessly, wondering, Is there anyway to resurrect the old me?

~~~~~~~~~~
Slight intake of breath, pull, tie, sharper intake, pause, pull, tie. Repeat until corset is tied and wearer cannot breathe again, bosoms exposed like fresh lemons put out in the market (or, for some more lucky ladies, watermellons.)
Elizabeth was not one of those ladies, however, but once her lemons were finally on sale, she was able to leave the dressing room to go and write in her journal. Her father continually festered her upon issues of marriage and Elizabeth was growing rather dull on the idea, so instead, she decided to inprison herself in her personal chambers, away from his botherings and the eyes of future prospects. The only one that caught her eye was definitely no prospect at all...Stray away from those fantasties, Elizabeth!, she scolded herself as she sat at her desk, dipping the feather in pitch black ink with grace, as she was taught. She began,
I don't feel like writing the date today - it just reminds me of how I have grown one day older, one day closer to the age where I must be chained as property to another man - ugh, the very idea of it sickens me! I would have puked from the very realization if I could breathe, but considering I still cannot, I guess the vile will remain within me until my wedding day, and after...
"ELIZABETH!"
Elizabeth jumped at the sound of her fathers calling, causing ink scribbles to go sprawling across the page. Elizabeth heaved a sigh as she put down the pen, closed the ink bottle, and left her sentence unfinished, page left open to dry. She stood, fixing the hems of her dress before she headed down the long stairway to her unrelenting parent.
Will Turner was feeling rather uneasy as he was waiting in the large hallway of the Swan mansion. Although he'd been there many times before the splendor and the superior taste of decorations still were overwhelming just like the presence of the lady who lived there. With curiosity he studied a wall sconce, which was decorated in the finest detail, but upon touching it, a piece broke off. Will flushed, quickly scanning the hall if anyone had seen him and then threw the broken item into a stone vase at the floor, deciding that no one would notice anyway. Pushing the chest he brought with him higher in his arm, Will nodded innocently to a passing butler and was relieved when Governor Swan descended the stairs.
With flair and certainly not without pride William showed the Governor the newly made sword, which was to be given to Commodore Norrington, describing details of the fabrication of the weapon.
"Do pass my compliments on to your Master" the Governor said pleased. With some irony Will thought of Master Brown, who seemed to be drunk for more than half of the days and than replied with a soft smile: "I shall. A craftsman is always pleased to hear his work is appreciated."
Then his eye was drawn to the balcony of the staircase and his breath was taken away. Elizabeth had appeared..
-----------------------------------------
"Come on Ed. Hurry up!" A young redhead was marching through the small alleyways of Port Royal. She threw her red curls back and turned to wait for her companion who was obviously much slower than she was. A mocking grin lay on her lips which altogether with the playful lights in her eyes and freckled face gaver her a teasing look. "Are ye tired already? We should find the Captain quickly and I don't want any dealin' with Redcoats." She glanced impatiently over her shoulder but the narrow streets still seemed soldier-less. Even if they were spotted by Redcoats, they would still be able to escape them. Sam had spent her childhood in Port Royal and very often sauntered through these streets. But still, Sam wished to avoid any complication. They needed to find Varianna Pierce.. where ever she was..
-------------------------------------
"Out! OUT!" The door of a small tavern opened and a man was thrown out on the streets. He was far in his twenties and with his dark brown eyes he glared angrily at the bold innkeeper, who was looking equally angry and was standing in the doorway. "I told you to keep out of my inn even if you have money" the innkeeper shouted. "Why don't you go to your black friends? You filthy mulatto!"
The man's skin was indeed colored light brown, his hair raven black, which unmistakenly betrayed his, at least, partly black heritage. "But I was winning!" he shouted, still on his knees, to the door which just slammed shut. With a groan he fingered his purse out of his pocket: it was empty except for two single coins. "Great" he mumbled to himself and as he got up and turned to go he was staring right into the face of a stranger, who'd apparently walked up behind him.
[Aah! Horrible posts! The stranger could be anyone..
And PD, it's fine by me that Norrie knows Carmon and Cole, he comes in later for the ceremony. ]
Varianna Pierce knew better than to be roaming the streets of Port Royal before it was dark, but the thrill of the chase and liquid courage flowing through her veins from nine mugs of ale had all but clouded her rational thought. It was a beautiful night, to be sure, probably even more beautiful through sober eyes. Either way, she was having a great time, even though colors were starting to run together as the sun faded orange over the horizon. Stumbling forward, she hardly noticed the woman she’d bumped into; a proper-looking lady walking alone in the streets. “Sorry,” she breathed quickly, walking past the woman only to nearly trip over her own feet. Luckily, Vari caught herself and attempted to walk once more, only to fail miserably. It was blatantly obvious she was smashed and yet all she could do was giggle like a young schoolgirl.
-------------------------------
Edward doubled over, trying to catch his breath as Sam continued forward. “Sam… ye know I’m old and yet… ye insist on draggin’ me ’round with the energy of a seven year old!” He coughed, panting and trying to regulate his heartbeat. Truth be told, he wasn’t the least worried about Vari - she knew how to take care of herself and was quick-witted in her own right - unless she’d had too many drinks. In which case, he was concerned for her well-being. “Hang on… I think I hear something,” Edward breathed, perking up as laughter was carried upon the wind. It sounded like… “Vari? Sam, I think we’re gettin’ close,” he said, a renewed energy coursing through him as he started off in a sprint towards the direction the laughter had originated from.
-------------------------------
“Elijah,” Soren repeated, suddenly appearing behind Dante. “Wouldn’t trust that lad if I were you,” he said, bracing a hand on Dante’s shoulder and looking up at Aurora with a mischievous smirk. “He’s got about as much common sense as A-Rose over here, and that ain’t sayin’ much, love.”
-------------------------------
At the helm of the Black Pearl stood an older man, fearsome and commanding. His dark eyes surveyed the town before them - Port Royal; the one place in all the seven seas that had been left untouched by his crew. The one place they were counting on to break this god-awful curse once and for all. They still had quite some time before the attack would be executed. Soon we shall regain that which is so rightfully ours…
[[K, I know it’s short but it’ll have to do for now… The woman Vari runs into is Guin, and the rest should explain itself… I think I’m gonna go pop my CotBP DVD in soon just to get a refresher of the movie. Have fun lovies :pirate: ]]
[okay. I'm just slightly confused here... is this the night of the attack (that's what I thought) or the night before the attack and Norrie's promotion ect?]
(Hooray! It's Guin's time to shine :lol: )
Guinevere quickly caught the arm of the woman who had so suddenly bumped into her, preventing her from toppling over. She raised one slim eyebrow, holding her breath in to prevent breathing in the alcoholic fumes. It was one of Guin’s rules never to get drunk, and her new acquaintance seemed to keep no such rule. Sighing, Guin held up Varianna with surprising strength. “You’re drunk out of your mind,” she said bluntly. Her voice was soft; if anyone else had spoken the words they would have sounded severe. Even when she was reprimanding someone, she sounded harmless. People often made mistakes about her.
“You’re in no fit state to go anywhere,” she continued. She looked the woman over. All the warning bells started flashing in her mind. Pirate. Guinevere knew when she was looking at one of her own kind, and was unsure whether to reveal her similar status. First of all, she had to prevent the dark-haired woman from causing herself an injury. Amongst a lot of other things, Guin hated waste. When in a sober state Varianna might be able to offer useful connections, if nothing else. She offered a calm smile and started helping her along the street. “Come along. If you drink yourself any further into the gutter some real harm might come to you.”
Suddenly, she looked over her shoulder as she heard two pairs of footsteps coming towards them. They belonged to a man and a woman. If Guin perceived the situation correctly, they knew her drunken new associate. “You know her?” she enquired.
To the outside eye, Guin looked like a genteel lady. A gentlewoman. Not one who carried two pistols and a sword hidden under her cloak, and a dagger concealed in one boot. She barely looked capable of hurting a fly. Her expression was utterly serene; she might have been a nurse stopping to help a poor drunkard. Little could anyone guess that she, in fact, was a pirate, and as fierce as a dragon, despite her tranquil voice and ladylike appearance.
“Your friend collided with me. I thought it only correct to aid her along the street. Who knows what might have happened to her otherwise?” the indication was clear enough. A woman, alone, stumbling down the street cobbles, reeking of drink would have been observed clearly enough by the governor’s men as a wrongdoer, unnatural in her behaviour and therefore to be held as suspicious.
