Top 7 Soundtracks
I'm going to say a little bit about each soundtrack because I love them so much, but ignore them if you like. I just have no life.

Silent Hill 2 is a very atmospheric game with a profound storyline, and the music corresponds well with the game. The tracks have a slow, soft sound that seems to echo the infamous fog in Silent Hill. The more fast-paced songs are beautiful melodically and evoke strong emotions especially during the revelations. Akira Yamaoka composes the music for all Silent Hill games.

What can I say? Klaus Badelt's PotC:TCotBP (wow that looks like another language) soundtrack is a classic with memorable tunes and an adventurous spirit. This timeless soundtrack surpasses those of the other two movies in my mind.

The guitarist from Nine Inch Nails is responsible for this quirky soundtrack, and it shows. He said in an interview that he used children's toys like jack in the boxes, toy pianos/xylophones, etc. to create the soundtrack. Some songs are trippy, some are creepy, and some are just beautiful. The music creates the perfect atmosphere of American McGee's Alice. (CanNOT wait for the sequel.)

Casshern is a Japanese sci-fi movie, and in all honesty, it wasn't that good. There were too many plots going on at once and I never knew what was going on. Fortunately, I didn't need to comprehend the plot to enjoy it because of the AMAZING visuals and the AMAZING score. Some tracks are soothing and some are sad, and the smooth sound is layered with nonlyrical vocals. The more hard rock esque tracks used in the action scenes are awesome and the ending credits song is absolutely gorgeous. (Dareka no Negai ga Kanau Koro for anyone who is interested.) I didn't put the track names in the blend because I couldn't find a track listing, and from what I've seen on youtube there's 100+ tracks...

EPIC. That is the only way to describe this soundtrack. I haven't even seen the movie yet and I know it's going to be epic just because of this soundtrack. Great fight music, and I can just feel the suspense building. I didn't put track titles in this one because they're entire sentences. Seriously.

I just love this show, and I really didn't think I would. There are some very talented singers in the cast (even if some are auto-tuned) and the way the voices work together is amazing. I love their energy.

Very very manly movie with a BA soundtrack. It really gets you pumped for the fights, blood and abs galore, and even the more mellow songs are beautiful with the sort of operatic vocals (which is starting to get old lately. Seriously, every movie has the same woman singing their soundtrack or something).
