Ooooo!!! I'm still working on Season 5, but I'll definitely be ready in time for the last season.

Well to be honest, I didn't like Juliet when she was with Jack. But from the moment the helicopter flew back to the Frater and Sawyer jumped off.. I don't know.. the both of them, their characters and relationship, started to grow more on me.
And I hope she's not dead. I mean, this is LOST!, everything can happen! I really hope for Sawyer that she still lives 
I never quite liked Ana Lucia in the entire serie though I felt sorry for her when she died, just like Libby (whose presence in the mental hospital of Hurley I still can't explain  ). _________________

No! Me no likey Jate! *smacks them with fish*  This is why.
1. No like Jack. AT ALL. EVER.
2. I'm not so hot on Kate anymore. She slept with Sawyer all because of Jack and Juliet's cute little dinner. You don't emotionally hurt my Sawyer when I'm around. I slap her with teh fishy.
3. I'm DESPERATELY in love with Sawyer.
4. Sawyer is happy with Kate.
5. I'm happy when Sawyer's happy.
6. Therefore, I support Skate in spite of Kate.
Tada! *bows* I'm first and foremost a Sawyer fan. Everything else revolves around him. 
I started to like Ana Lucia, and I adored Libby and Hurley together. I knew Ana Lucia would die, though (the price of watching the show 5 years later than everyone else). I know what happens to Juliet, but I really don't think she's dead, either. I haven't gotten to the part in Season 5 when Suliet happens, but I doubt I'll be a huge fan. They only started to have a bit of chemistry now, and they seem just like good friends to me. _________________

Seriously, that would be, like, the best episode EVER! And, come on, it’s been too long in the coming, no?
Ahem…
I don’t think Juliet will actually live, live in the technically sense… but… yeaaaahhhhh. It’s sad though. One of my favorite charries… gone. However, I am excited for the change this is going to bring for Sawyer. From what I’ve read it’ll be pretty... umm yeah.  And the love triangle or whatever could be over? Do I hear a unanimous huzzah? 
Oh, and Ben better NEVER die! Well, I take that back… if he gets an epic, amazing, awesome death… then it’s okay. I guess.
Btw, SR, Jack dislikers UNITE! (though actually I don't hate him as much as I used to... season 5 helped some. In that season he was actually okay. Especially when he sorta, kinda dumps Kate... hehe... can you see that I love seeing Kate suffer and lose?)

I don't really understand all the level of hatred that is aimed at Kate and Jack really. I mean, looking back at everyone's old posts, they were up there in the popularity stakes.
I know everyone likes Sawyer but you know... he's hurt people, and killed people, and emotionally hurt people as well. He isn't perfect, he doesn't always do the right thing, and he doesn't always try to do the right thing. And while there is another side to him, that is different to the Sawyer most people know, the same can be said for Kate and Jack.
Norrington is my Sawyer from POTC. Will and Elizabeth should be the people I hate because of how Norrie is hurt. I don't like them very much because they are boring characters, not because of the effects they have on Norrington.
Kate and Jack are both good characters. They are as complicated as Sawyer, and all three of them are scarred from their life previous to the island and because of what happened on it.
I think Kate is as genuinely confused as to who and what she wants as we are. I think originally when she used Sawyer to get back at Jack - why not? Sawyer was a leering male who clearly wanted her because she was a female and he had made that obvious many, many times. I still don't think he has ever truly shown Kate that she means more to him than someone to sleep with. And until he does, she is going to be confused. It's pretty clear that Jack does not see Kate that way, and if she loves them both, it would stand to reason she will be more likely to stay with the man who shows more signs that he loves her too. Her reaction to Juliet and Jack was pure jealousy, and her reaction was to make Jack jealous even if it worked or not. I don't condemn her for it, as just as Sawyer has used women in the past for his needs, so did Kate.
I'm not going into the whys and wherefores of a TV character, but considering Kate and Jack are one of our Losties, I'm going to stick with them and see how they develop and change. They are not my favourite characters, but I wouldn't wish them harm. I mean, if we're talking about hating characters who harm our favourites, Sayid would be DEAD for harming Ben. Totally D-E-A-D. And Juliet as well.
The best change for me was when Kate offered to look after Aaron - Kate, the one with the non-mothering instinct. That was a noble and brave thing she did, and if anything it shows how people can change and make decisions.
So yeah... I'm basically just pleading that this thread isn't going to become a Kate-Jack hate fest or something.

Kate just really annoys me. She had Sawyer and threw him away for Jack. Can she just make up her mind? If she really wants Jack, she can have him. I can haz a Sawyer instead. *huggles*
Juliet really is one of my favorite characters. I've loved her from the start, and I would love for her to live.  I haven't seen the season finale yet, but I'll tell you all what I think once I get to it. Episode 8 is up next right now.
A change in Soy-yah? Tell me tell me!  I seriously have no idea how this love triangle will end. I would rather it just not exist at all. At first it was intriguing, but now....just get on with it, writers!
I just saw Ben strangle Locke, so I'm not too fond of him right now. I wasn't a big Locke fan, mind you, but it was just so...  I don't necessarily want Ben to die, but he does kinda mess things up for everyone.
We should start a club, PD! I laughed when Jate got together and broke up in a week. It was pretty ingenious. I laughed at Kate, because she should have stayed with Sawyer, and I laughed at Jack, because he's just annoying and I don't like him. _________________

Jack was my favourite character from the start and he still is. I think his passion to survive and his will to help others (or fix things) which turn out in the eventual thought that they're meant to return to the Island is powerful and admirable. He is the real good guy.. contrary to Sawyer and Ben who do have some dubious motives and deeds.
I liked Kate as well, but I agree with the others that her twisting and turning from Jack to Sawyer and back again is kind of annoying. I think being confused is a too easy excuse for what she's doing. She too is hurting feelings of both men. But hey, there's no such thing as a perfect character. Kate's indecisiveness is her flaw. Though I still like her..
I can't think of any character that I find extremely annoying or even hate. But still what for show would it be of all annoying characters would be killed off by the writers at the audience demand?

I have to agree with JF, and stand up for Kate, too. I've had my personal ups and downs with her, but never hatred on the intense and fiery level of you all have for her! I think that in most cases she's a very capable and admirable character. Mostly, I think it's the writers' fault that she's so hateable, as they continuously use her as a wedge between Jack and Sawyer. I, too, am sick of this continuous love-triangle that never, ever ends! I'm totally with Will on the super-glue-Jack-and-Kate idea! I just want to scream at them "YOU BELONG TOGETHER, YOU IMBECILES. AND YOU WOULD BE HAPPY TOGETHER IF YOU WOULD BOTH SET ASIDE YOUR PETTY ANGSTY PROBLEMS!" And they were very happy together with Aaron, for a while!
As for Sawyer, Juliet was so, so good for him. I think the only time when I actually liked Sawyer was when he was with Juliet. They were almost perfect for each other, and the pairing had the double virtue of breaking up aforementioned torturous love triangle. I am going to be so, so mad at Sawyer if he starts running after Kate again, especially after what happened to Juliet.
Also, Ben must live. He must live. A character made of so much awesome cannot die. And Desmond, and Penny, and little Charlie must live too. It would be utterly out of the realms of human decency and goodness to let them die! _________________

I never liked Kate. Jack, well, I don’t HATE him. I can tolerate him. (honestly, TT is having some influence on me there. lol) Kate though…. Bleh.
It’s honestly not anything to do with her not being complicated, hurting or not hurting my fave charries ect… I just don’t like her. I find her annoying. Plain and simple. The way she acts, talks, everything she does seems whiny and just… bleh. Most of what she does just seems very petty and very, very silly, in all honesty.
Yes, all the charries have done bad things (heck my two fave charries, Ben and Sayid, are some of the worst!) but the point is… well, Sawyer, Sayid, ect ect all sorta realize they were jerks and they try to improve. The island develops them. Look at Sawyer! He becomes just a wonderful guy in season 4! Kate, well, she just seems to whine a lot about it without really… changing. I dunno. She doesn't buck up and take it. Not to mention, I'm thinking a lot of the reason people like Sawyer is that he's got personality... Kate... not so much.
SR, haha, well, it would be a spoiler sorta…. and I dunno if JF and Will wanna know. Ooooo, if the rumors are true I think I know how it’ll end… and I like it.
Really? I thought the Ben strangling Locke scene was rather… well, epic.  I mean, Locke is pretty cool but… gosh it was just soooooo unexpected and… yeah.
Well, I’m not one to talk… I’m not much for Jate or Skate. I'm more of a Desmond-Penny person. hehe.
Oooo, I have some ideas about Ilana, Bram, and Caesar.
