You can tell I'm bored when I start these kind of threads. :P A mixture of your favourites, dislikes and miscellaneous things.

So onto The Big Film Survey!

1) What was the first film you remember seeing?

It was probably either Frankenstein or The Cat and the Canary, I have very early memories of them both

2) Do you like that film?

I really like Frankenstein but The Cat and the Canary is OK as well

3) What film was a childhood favourite?

I almost hate to admit it, but the film I always watched especially when I was unwell was the 80's sci-fi Masters Of The Universe which probably explains why I like villains as Skeletor and his cohorts fascinated me

4) What was the first film you saw at the cinema?

I have memories of seeing Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs when I was very young, so it could have been that

5) If there was a film that got you into movies, what was it?

Star Wars without a doubt. I saw it in the cinema in 1997 and it literally changed my life

6) Name 3 films you eagerly anticipated watching at the cinema

Return of the King, Ratatouille and Sweeney Todd

7) How often do you go the cinema? (i.e 5 times a month, once a month)

It really depends. Last year was a bad year for me, and I only went like 5 times, 2008 was better as I must have gone 9 times maybe. I watch what I think looks good, more so than because I feel the need to watch something at the cinema

8) How often do you watch a film? (i.e 5 times a week, once a week)

Almost one everyday

9) On average how many films do you watch a year? (i.e 50-70, 100-120)

It used to be 300+ but now I would say maybe 200

10) Name your three favourite genres

Musicals, film noir and westerns

11) Name one film you can watch again and again

Father of the Bride with Spencer Tracy

12) What 2 films do you wish you had seen in the cinema?

The Fellowship of the Rimg and Jurassic Park

13) Name one film you wish you could see in IMAX

The Dark Knight. Joker on the big screen FTW!

14) Pick one year when the Best Picture Oscar was given to the wrong film, and choose the film that should have won

The year A Beautiful Mind won instead of Fellowship of the Ring. I think of all the LOTR films, FOTR should have won the Oscar

15) Name the actor/actress who you would most like to see win an acting Oscar in the future

Johnny Depp because he can do everything and he entertains me

16) Name the director whose films you would go and see because it's him/her

Steven Spielbeg and also possibly M. Night Shyamalan

17) What is your favourite soundtrack?

I honestly have no idea, most likely a musical

18) What is your favourite film of 2009?

UP

19) Name your favourite 3 sequels

The Dark Knight, Return of the King and The Empire Strikes Back

20) Name the type of feature you most enjoy on DVD's (i.e commentary, outtakes)

Making of documentaries are the best

21) Name one actor from the last decade who surprised you with how good they were in a film role

Heath Ledger as the Joker. Talk about eating ones words :swoon:

22) If you could spend the day with one character, who would that be?

FRANK LAPIDUS! Yeah, baby! Seeing all the sites of New York with someone so cool and awesome! .... or someone else... as Frank is a TV character and this is a.. er..film survey.. I would probably like to spend the day someone like Han Solo, someone with adventure in their bones! :D

23) What was the most disapointing film you saw in 2009?

There was probably something I saw, but I can't think. The Iceman Cometh was a really, really bad film, but it wasn't a 2009 film. Maybe Monsters vs. Aliens

24) Who is the most overrated actor/actress either living or dead?

Marlon Brando. I'm not giving him more than 11 words of my time. :P

25) Name one deceased actor or actress you would have liked to meet

Danny Kaye. He would make me feel like I was giving him the pleasure of meeting me, and he would make me laugh

26) What film would you compliment them for?

Probably White Christmas

27) Name one living actor or actress you would like to meet

Jeff Fahey. Kinda goes without saying really. :P Maybe I should fly to Honolulu. :teehee:

28) What film would you compliment them for?

Erm.. film? ...Silverado or Wyatt Earp I suppose

29) If you could only ever watch 10 films for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Lord of the Rings (as one :P), Ratatouille, The Dark Knight, Bringing Up Baby, Top Hat, The Music Man, Toy Story, All About Eve, Beauty and the Beast and Father of the Bride

30) Name three of your favourite character duos

Cogsworth and Lumiere (Beauty and the beast), Laurel and Hardy, Jack and Barbossa (POTC)

31) Who is the most underrated actor or actress currently working?

I won't say it... I won't say it... I won't say it.... :frust: Paul Giamatti. He is an excellent actor who should win more big awards

32) If they should make more films from a certain genre, what would it be?

Westerns, we need more of them!

33) Which 3 decades were best for films?

1940's, 1950's and 2000's

34) If you could have been an extra in one film, what would it have been and who would you have played?

The Fellowship of the Ring. Red-head elf FTW!

35) What was the last film you saw that made you cry?

It was probably the short at the beginning of UP and then UP itself

36) What was the last film you watched but never finished?

Lisbon. Ordinarily anything with Claude Rains I would watch, but I had so much to watch, I didn't bother finishing it

37) Which 2010 film are you most looking forward to seeing?

Toy Story 3 I suppose, this year looks quite boring really :P

38) If there was one film you could remove from the face of the earth, what would it be?

The Importance of Being Earnest remake, or something like The Neverending Story or Labyrinth. They are all equally as bad.

39) If there was one actor or actress you could leave on a desert island which was inhabited by flesh eating termites, all the while the island was slowly sinking into the sea, which was filled with actor eating sharks and rabid peanuts, who would it be?

Emma Watson

40) If you knew that after standing around in the rain for 16 hours, waiting for a certain actor or actress to come your way, that certain person would shake your hand, have a photo taken with you, sign a picture for you and talk to you for 43 seconds, which person would you wait for?

Ian Mckellen. I struggled through King Lear and Othello for you Sir Ian! Waiting for 16 hours in the rain would be NOTHIN' in comparison! XD

41) Is there anything an actor or actress could do, that would make you completely ignore all their future films?

I'm not one of these people who avoid actors films because of something they do or don't do.... I suppose some kind of animal cruelty would put me right off them

42) If there was one novel you would like to see made into a film, what would it be?

Hmm... not that I can think of. Most novels I have read have already been made into films :P

43) Are you more likely to watch a film because a certain actor is in it or just because the film looks good?

I do both equally

44) Would you consider yourself a movie buff?

Yes. Film nutter would probably be more accurate :boing:

45) Do you ever watch a film and wish you could have been involved in the creating of it in someway?

So much it hurts

46) Name one moment when you went "EWW" at something that you saw on screen

The big scene in King Kong. I'm not squeamish at all but that was GROSS DUDES!

47) Name three moments where you (almost) wet yourself, when something caused you to jump out of your seat

The Village (when something walked past the open trapdoor), The Dark Knight (when the fake Batman banged against the mayors window), The Happening (crazy old woman banging her head through the window)

48) Do you ever skip through boring parts of a film when at home, and if so name one scene where you do this

If I'm in a hurry I will skip through scenic parts where there is no talking, but I will skip through dodgy songs

49) If with other people, and they prefer to just watch the boring parts instead, do you try and amuse yourself and if so, how?

Recently, I started to recite the Gettysburg Address while watching a dodgy part of the Muppets Show with my brother, so now if I see anything that bores me I shout "Fourscore!" so everyone knows I am through with this scene

50) Are you a single disc DVD buyer, or do you like the double discer?

2-disc girl. Only if there is anything useful on the second disc

51) Do films play an important part of your life, and if so how?

Yes, because I enjoy watching them, reading about them, discussing them with other people and I get a lot of pleasure from doing so :-)

52) If there was one film you can protect from being remade, which would it be?

The Lord of the Rings

53) Do you remember certain events that happened in your life, because you watched a film on that day?

Yes. I remember watching The Philadelphia Story and An American In Paris the first day my mum was in hospital. I was watching A Muppet's Christmas Carol while I was waiting for my mum to come back from the vets with one of my hamster who had a stroke and I was watching Soldiers Three when 9/11 was happening

54) Can you imagine life without films?

I could imagine it, yes. It would be dull and boring and I wouldn't like it one bit

55) What film did you avoid watching at the cinema, only to regret your actions the most?

The Fellowship of the Ring

56) Name 5 quotes you are most likely to find yourself saying

"You shall not pass!" (FOTR), "much more better" (POTC), "argh, no he's at it again!" (Toy Story), "MERCY!" (Wallace and Gromit Curse of the Were Rabbit), "my precious" (LOTR)

57) If there was one character who died when they shouldn't have and you would bring back, who would that be?

James "I-Should-Never-In-A-Million-Years-Have-Died-In-Such-A-Pathetic-Way-I-Was-Killed-By-A-Walking-Crustacean-For-Pete's-Sake" Norrington

58) If you could go to the Oscars with anyone you wanted, who would you pick?

This is repetitive, but at the moment I would pick Mr. Fahey. Although someone who looks pretty dashing in suit would be Aaron Eckhart as a close second

59) If you knew you were going to get run over tomorrow by a mutated piece of swiss cheese, what would be the film you watched tonight, to make it the last film you ever saw?

It would have so be something that made me happy and warm and fuzy inside, so I guess either a musical like Top Hat or a comedy like Father of the Bride

60) As it's probably taken you as long to fill this out as it would to watch Ben-Hur, if this survey was a film how would you rate it (be nice to meee..)

Err.. I don't think I can answer this :teehee:

Viggo.. I know I'm obsessed :P

1) What was the first film you remember seeing?

E.T or something kiddyish. I can't really remember that far back...senility n alla that

2) Do you like that film?

Nope. I distinctly remember thinking it was a pile of bottom. I laughed when E.T died...

3) What film was a childhood favourite?

Star Wars: A New Hope and Ghostbusters

4) What was the first film you saw at the cinema?

Probably E.T

5) If there was a film that got you into movies, what was it?

Star Wars: A New Hope most definetly. I'd never seen anything like it and it put me on the path to my Geekdom.

6) Name 3 films you eagerly anticipated watching at the cinema

Fellowship of the Ring, The Phantom Menace & X-Men - 3 of my fandoms

7) How often do you go the cinema? (i.e 5 times a month, once a month)

Lately, not as much as I'd like too. Last year we went to see on average 2-3 movies per month

8) How often do you watch a film? (i.e 5 times a week, once a week)

Everyday...granted it's usually something Disney with my daughter, but that counts.

9) On average how many films do you watch a year? (i.e 50-70, 100-120)

I have no idea

10) Name your three favourite genres

Action, Sci-Fi and Fantasy

11) Name one film you can watch again and again

I'd say the LOTRs trilogy, but that's the obvious answer. So instead I'll pick The 13th Warrior. Criminally underrated.

12) What 2 films do you wish you had seen in the cinema?

Too many to name, but currently Sherlock Holmes and The Book of Eli

13) Name one film you wish you could see in IMAX

Iron Man. Good...lawd.

14) Pick one year when the Best Picture Oscar was given to the wrong film, and choose the film that should have won

It happens almost every year. The Academy are hopeless snobs.

15) Name the actor/actress who you would most like to see win an acting Oscar in the future

Hmm can't really think of one off the top of my head.

16) Name the director whose films you would go and see because it's him/her

Hmm I tend not to do this, but I have enjoyed every movie (that I've seen of) by Guillermo Del Toro, Kevin Smith, Peter Jackson, Quentin Tarrantino, Robert Rodriguez

17) What is your favourite soundtrack?

Again not going to go with the expected answer here and choose...nah who am I kidding. LOTRs and Howard Shore FTW

18) What is your favourite film of 2009?

Star Trek.
Closely followed by District 9 and Zombieland

19) Name your favourite 3 sequels

The Two Towers, Aliens, Terminator 2

20) Name the type of feature you most enjoy on DVD's (i.e commentary, outtakes)

Oh Gods...don't make me choose. I love them all. A dvd or blu-ray with excellent features really makes me happeh.

21) Name one actor from the last decade who surprised you with how good they were in a film role

ugh that's way too many movies for me to filter through my brain to choose just one.

22) If you could spend the day with one character, who would that be?

Randal Graves from Clerks. We could just sit and annoy people and be generally geeky and completely nihilistic.

23) What was the most disapointing film you saw in 2009?

Surrogates I think. Not that I didn't like it or it was horrible. It was just very lackluster compared to movies like Star Trek and Zombieland.

24) Who is the most overrated actor/actress either living or dead?

Daniel Day Lewis.
Shouting, spitting and going red doth not a good actor make.

25) Name one deceased actor or actress you would have liked to meet

River Phoenix

26) What film would you compliment them for?
Stand By Me

27) Name one living actor or actress you would like to meet

Sir Ian McKellen. He's just such an amazing actor and person. It would be an honour to even spend 5 minutes in his company.

28) What film would you compliment them for?

All of them. The man is a legend for fricksakes.

29) If you could only ever watch 10 films for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Nope..not choosing. No way.

30) Name three of your favourite character duos

Jay & Silent Bob, Merry & Pippin and Tango & Cash

31) Who is the most underrated actor or actress currently working?

That's a tough one....now if you'd asked me about actors in tv shows....

32) If they should make more films from a certain genre, what would it be?

Real action movies. The Expendables gives me hope.

33) Which 3 decades were best for films?

Never really thought about it

34) If you could have been an extra in one film, what would it have been and who would you have played?

I'd LOVE to be in a Kevin Smith movie.

35) What was the last film you saw that made you cry?

What actually break down and sob? Gosh..umm the original King Kong. I don't really sob at movies. But the last one to actually choke me up to squirt out a few trickling tears was Star Trek. The opening 20 minutes or so were just breathtaking, beautiful and heartbreaking.

36) What was the last film you watched but never finished?

I always watch a movie to the end, unless it's really awful.

37) Which 2010 film are you most looking forward to seeing?

Oh Gods...quite a few. Iron Man 2, Clash of the Titans, Kick-Ass, The Expendables, Robin Hood, The A-Team, The Last Airbender.

38) If there was one film you could remove from the face of the earth, what would it be?

The Twilight series...actually no. Keep them, there great comedies.

39) If there was one actor or actress you could leave on a desert island which was inhabited by flesh eating termites, all the while the island was slowly sinking into the sea, which was filled with actor eating sharks and rabid peanuts, who would it be?

Megan Fox. The girl is pretty. But she's just nauseating and can't act for toffee.

40) If you knew that after standing around in the rain for 16 hours, waiting for a certain actor or actress to come your way, that certain person would shake your hand, have a photo taken with you, sign a picture for you and talk to you for 43 seconds, which person would you wait for?

For 16 hours? Absolutely no-one. The hell with that, no human being is worth waiting that length of time for.

41) Is there anything an actor or actress could do, that would make you completely ignore all their future films?

I'd still watch a Tom Cruise movie...if it appealed to me. Take that for what you will.

42) If there was one novel you would like to see made into a film, what would it be?

Can't think of one off hand.

43) Are you more likely to watch a film because a certain actor is in it or just because the film looks good?

Only if it looks good or appeals to my taste. Some of my favourite actors have been in some duds.

44) Would you consider yourself a movie buff?

Nah, just a geeky gal who enjoys watching movies.

45) Do you ever watch a film and wish you could have been involved in the creating of it in someway?

Not really.

46) Name one moment when you went "EWW" at something that you saw on screen

I don't really say eeww

47) Name three moments where you (almost) wet yourself, when something caused you to jump out of your seat

The chestburster scene in Alien. Even now I know it's coming, I still jump a little when it happens.

When the cop shot himself in The Happening - I saw it coming, but I still crapped myself.

...hmm struggling with a third.

48) Do you ever skip through boring parts of a film when at home, and if so name one scene where you do this

Nope. I'll watch from beginning to end. I'll even pause if I need to go pee.

49) If with other people, and they prefer to just watch the boring parts instead, do you try and amuse yourself and if so, how?

See the last question.

50) Are you a single disc DVD buyer, or do you like the double discer?

Always the 2-disc special editions ect. More value for money than the 1 disc vanilla versions. But if they can't be found in that version, I'll buy a single discer just to have the movie.

51) Do films play an important part of your life, and if so how?

Important? It's good bonding time I guess. It's nice to watch a movie and then chat about it afterwards to see what parts you liked/disliked ect.

52) If there was one film you can protect from being remade, which would it be?

I would want to protect them all, but sadly the big fad in Hollywood right now is remakes. So I roll with the punches and just hope they don't screw it up too badly. At least the original is still intact and no remake can ever taint that.

53) Do you remember certain events that happened in your life, because you watched a film on that day?

Hmmm no not really. Movies are my escape from reality, not a pathway towards it.

54) Can you imagine life without films?

I don't want too imagine it.

55) What film did you avoid watching at the cinema, only to regret your actions the most?

Hmmm none that I can think of. Most movies I miss is due to lack of money, not interest.

56) Name 5 quotes you are most likely to find yourself saying

I'll keep them clean :P

"That's no moon...that's a space station." [Star Wars: A New Hope]

"Get to tha choppa!" [Predator]

"Groovy" [Evil Dead II]

"We're on an express elevator to hell...Goin' down" [Aliens]

"Come with me if you want to live" [Terminator 2]

57) If there was one character who died when they shouldn't have and you would bring back, who would that be?

Cyclops in X3. In my mind he never died... //denial

58) If you could go to the Oscars with anyone you wanted, who would you pick?

Someone that would be so bored out of there gord, we'd start causing mischief....or Karl Urban....or Angelina Jolie.

59) If you knew you were going to get run over tomorrow by a mutated piece of swiss cheese, what would be the film you watched tonight, to make it the last film you ever saw?

LOTRs marathon. I wanna make it last yo

60) As it's probably taken you as long to fill this out as it would to watch Ben-Hur, if this survey was a film how would you rate it (be nice to meee..)

It was quite fun. Did you create this yourself JF?

@ Will - In case you didn't know, I really hate Emma Watson. :P And I totally forgot about Alice In Wonderland coming out this year... I too would like to see a proper film version of The Scarlet Pimpernel, it's one of my favourite books.

Thanks for filling it out! :D

@ Phoenix - LOL! I wish I could have avoided choosing for some of the answers like you did... but alas, I thought it was only right that I should strain myself and choose. :teehee: Although I think your way caused you less stress and grief. Gah, I forget about Cyclops dying - you're right, complete denial is in order. And I also forgot about "that's no moon... that's a space station". I say that more than is normal.

Yes, I did. Because I was insanely bored, and at the end just insanely tired of writing it all out. Thanks for taking the time! :-)

Hey I'm at work and I don't feel like doing something productive

1) What was the first film you remember seeing?

Snow White? I think?

2) Do you like that film?

I was a kid, sooo yeah?

3) What film was a childhood favourite?

Oh god, I really really can't remember.

4) What was the first film you saw at the cinema?

Godzilla? The 1997 one. Or was it the Iron Giant?

5) If there was a film that got you into movies, what was it?

I'll have to say it was Lord of the Rings. Yeah.

6) Name 3 films you eagerly anticipated watching at the cinema

Ummmmmm, The Prestige, The Dark Knight, and....The Return of the King.

7) How often do you go the cinema? (i.e 5 times a month, once a month)

Probably like four or five times a year

8) How often do you watch a film? (i.e 5 times a week, once a week)

Whenever I'm bored. Which is often.

9) On average how many films do you watch a year? (i.e 50-70, 100-120)

Does this include repeats? 'Cause if it does, it's around 100. If not, it's about 30.

10) Name your three favourite genres

Don't really have favourite genres. Whatever clicks.

11) Name one film you can watch again and again

I have no bloody clue.

12) What 2 films do you wish you had seen in the cinema?

V for Vendetta and Fight Club

13) Name one film you wish you could see in IMAX

The Lord of the Rings

14) Pick one year when the Best Picture Oscar was given to the wrong film, and choose the film that should have won

Ughhh don't make me go there.

15) Name the actor/actress who you would most like to see win an acting Oscar in the future

Natalie Portman. I'm sure that's a shock for everyone.

16) Name the director whose films you would go and see because it's him/her

Christopher Nolan and Guillemero del Toro

17) What is your favourite soundtrack?

No. Don't make...fine. Pan's Labyrinth, Lord of the Rings, Requiem for a Dream, Sherlock Holmes, Schindler's List

18) What is your favourite film of 2009?

Inglourious Basterds. Closely followed by District 9.

19) Name your favourite 3 sequels

The Dark Knight, The Two Towers, and Quantum of Solace

20) Name the type of feature you most enjoy on DVD's (i.e commentary, outtakes)

The interviews. And the making of.

21) Name one actor from the last decade who surprised you with how good they were in a film role

I really couldn't answer that.

22) If you could spend the day with one character, who would that be?

As tempting as it is to name a Natalie Portman character, I'll have to say.........well, god, now I think about it. All the characters I like are anti-social jerks. Or homicidal maniacs. Probably Ra's al Ghul from Batman Begins though.

23) What was the most disapointing film you saw in 2009?

[s]I don't know.[/s]

Wait! G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. No, I don't want to see Channing Tutum's wooden walking around the screen thinking he's a total BA and saying the most cliche drivel ever. I want to see Christopher Eccleston, darnit!!

24) Who is the most overrated actor/actress either living or dead?

Well, gee, do you want an entire list? Megan Fox comes to mind but I don't think she's "acting" as much as posing sexy in front of the camera so all the sexually repressed boys can get off. Probably...gah, Zac Effron. Actually, when people are overrated, I refuse to recognise them as actors or actresses so there!

25) Name one deceased actor or actress you would have liked to meet

Gregory Peck. He's made of awesomeness

26) What film would you compliment them for?

To Kill a Mockingbird

27) Name one living actor or actress you would like to meet

Hmm, oh this is fun! Starts with a "N". Last name ends with an "N"....You can do it :D

Natalie Portman, duh :P

28) What film would you compliment them for?

Either Leon (The Professional), V for Vendetta, or Closer.

29) If you could only ever watch 10 films for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Lord of the Rings (as one ), The Prestige, The Dark Knight Saga (Batman Begins/The Dark Knight), Closer, V for Vendetta, Serenity, Silence of the Lambs, Inglourious Basterds, Fight Club, and...District 9.

30) Name three of your favourite character duos

Leon and Mathilda (Leon), V and Evey Hammond, and Alfred Borden and Robert Angier.

Yes I bet you were disappointed with the last one. I could have gotten a three for three.

31) Who is the most underrated actor or actress currently working?

Probably Thomas Krestschmann. Or Jared Leto.

32) If they should make more films from a certain genre, what would it be?

Don't believe in genres!

33) Which 3 decades were best for films?

No...idea.

34) If you could have been an extra in one film, what would it have been and who would you have played?

Probably V for Vendetta. Just to get close to...yeah!

35) What was the last film you saw that made you cry?

I forgot....

36) What was the last film you watched but never finished?

I don't know. Something awful.

37) Which 2010 film are you most looking forward to seeing?

No idea.

38) If there was one film you could remove from the face of the earth, what would it be?

Can I have a list! :D If not, I'll just name serieses since they really ought to STOP. DOING. THAT! Transformers, Twilight, High School Musical....can I just have it be influenced by whims and be done with it?

39) If there was one actor or actress you could leave on a desert island which was inhabited by flesh eating termites, all the while the island was slowly sinking into the sea, which was filled with actor eating sharks and rabid peanuts, who would it be?

Like I said, moment their acting abilities becomes too awful to bear, they're no longer "acting" but if I can, and I will, stuff a freighter with them, they would include Megan Fox, Zac Effron, Paris Hilton, Miley Cyrus, etc, etc, etc.

40) If you knew that after standing around in the rain for 16 hours, waiting for a certain actor or actress to come your way, that certain person would shake your hand, have a photo taken with you, sign a picture for you and talk to you for 43 seconds, which person would you wait for?

Guess who. Natalie Portman

41) Is there anything an actor or actress could do, that would make you completely ignore all their future films?

I don't know...even if Natalie Portman boarded a plane and started shooting people up, I'll find an excuse for her just because she's pretty and talented...Aside from her, aiding/supporting a genocidal tyrant. OR going into a reality television show. Yeah, that'll do it

42) If there was one novel you would like to see made into a film, what would it be?

The Shadow of the Wind. If it was directed by del Toro. Maybe if they re-did The Handmaid's Tale.

43) Are you more likely to watch a film because a certain actor is in it or just because the film looks good?

Probably both.

44) Would you consider yourself a movie buff?

Not really

45) Do you ever watch a film and wish you could have been involved in the creating of it in someway?

YES!!!

46) Name one moment when you went "EWW" at something that you saw on screen

The whole lab sequence in District 9. I didn't go "eww" but more like "ummm..." in an uneasy fashion.

The last ten or fifteen minutes of Requiem for a Dream. If you've seen it, you know what I mean.

47) Name three moments where you (almost) wet yourself, when something caused you to jump out of your seat

When the fake Batman hit the window of the mayor's office (The Dark Knight)

When Wikus accidentally sprays himself with the alien fluid (District 9)

When the Joker made that pencil disappear (The Dark Knight)

48) Do you ever skip through boring parts of a film when at home, and if so name one scene where you do this

Sometimes. Can't remember exactly.

49) If with other people, and they prefer to just watch the boring parts instead, do you try and amuse yourself and if so, how?

I just look outside and look vaguely out the window.

50) Are you a single disc DVD buyer, or do you like the double discer?

god bless the consumerist market! I'm the two disc boy

51) Do films play an important part of your life, and if so how?

Yes, mainly because one film started...practically my entire creative life.

52) If there was one film you can protect from being remade, which would it be?

The Lord of the Rings

53) Do you remember certain events that happened in your life, because you watched a film on that day?

Nope.

54) Can you imagine life without films?

I could imagine it, sure. Will I survive it, probably not.

55) What film did you avoid watching at the cinema, only to regret your actions the most?

No idea.

56) Name 5 quotes you are most likely to find yourself saying

"Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off but it's better if you do." (The Closer)

"Why so serious?" (The Dark Knight)

"We ain't in the prisoner-taking business. We're in the killin' Nat-zee business. And cousin, business is a-BOOMIN'!" (Inglourious Basterds)

"I need to return some videotapes." (American Psycho)

"You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake." (Fight Club)

57) If there was one character who died when they shouldn't have and you would bring back, who would that be?

Wash and Shepard Book.

58) If you could go to the Oscars with anyone you wanted, who would you pick?

Really, guys? I want to go with Megan Fox.

Yeah right, of course, it's Natalie Portman.

59) If you knew you were going to get run over tomorrow by a mutated piece of swiss cheese, what would be the film you watched tonight, to make it the last film you ever saw?

It would probably be Inglourious Basterds.

60) As it's probably taken you as long to fill this out as it would to watch Ben-Hur, if this survey was a film how would you rate it (be nice to meee..)

No idea.

As you can tell, I really do love Natalie Portman.

@JF: What? Why Emma Watson? What has she done to you? :P

This was fun. Much more fun than numbering the slides on a PowerPoint presentation for my smelly supervisor. Ughhh

^ You did use some TV shows for your answers.

But on the whole you are quite compatible to me, so I'll let you off. :P

*GASP* I thought you were AU's Gene Kelly nut?! Or has it been so long since anyone has posted in the classic film club that I am confused.

And for the record.... *shifty eyes* ... I shouldn't like "Wonderful, Wonderful Say"... but I do. :P Especially when the poor birds fly into the set at the back.

@ Frosty - I couldn't even begin to tell you about what Emma Watson has done to me. 'Twould take too long. :teehee:

B-b-but it was only two or three times! :guilty:

Ah, thank you, thank you. I did notice more than the usual similarities. If you substitue the Frank/Fahey for the Sean/Bradley. =P

I do like Gene Kelly, I just don't think he's all that he's cracked up to be. And I think we had that conversation in the club, but it does need to be resurrected. Okay, yes, the birds are funny. The song itself is too long for me to listen to it though. :P

I know! But I resisted naming Mr. You-Know-Who and such TV references because that's all I really know him from. :P

LOL! Indeed. But we do agree about a few things regarding older films and such stuff so all is well. :D

Ah, yes. I think there is someone on AU though who thinks he is Wunderbar (to quote Kiss Me Kate which I saw for the first time the other week ;)). I think it's the type of charaters he plays that annoy me. Fred Astaire type characters are adorable... Gene Kelly's are meloncholy, annoying and usually end with him doing something big and balletic. He kinda ruined Anchors Away for me as well. :annoyed:

14) Pick one year when the Best Picture Oscar was given to the wrong film, and choose the film that should have won
The year A Beautiful Mind won instead of Fellowship of the Ring. (I agree with you JF)

15) Name the actor/actress who you would most like to see win an acting Oscar in the future

Johnny Depp, he deserves one. The man is wonderful.

16) Name the director whose films you would go and see because it's him/her
Steven Spielbeg and James Cameron

17) What is your favourite soundtrack?
I can't pick just one. XD

18) What is your favourite film of 2009?
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince... It was really the only one I saw. >.<

19) Name your favourite 3 sequels
The Dark Knight, Return of the King and Return of the Jedi

20) Name the type of feature you most enjoy on DVD's (i.e commentary, outtakes)
Outtakes and the Making of Specials

21) Name one actor from the last decade who surprised you with how good they were in a film role
Heath Ledger as the Joker. I was sceptical at first but, he WAS the Joker.

22) If you could spend the day with one character, who would that be?
That's tough... There are so many I would want to spend time with. XD if I hade to pick I'd go with Boromir. He could use a day of fun. :P

23) What was the most disapointing film you saw in 2009?
I didn't get to see many films last your so I can't say....

24) Who is the most overrated actor/actress either living or dead?
Sorry I have to put two here... Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. I have yet to see them actually act. They really just say lines and look high all the time. I don't see why everyone loves them. Ok I will admit that Pattinson was ok in Harry potter but he could have been way better.

25) Name one deceased actor or actress you would have liked to meet

Vincent Price. I love his work and his voice. :P

26) What film would you compliment them for?
I always loved him in The Great Mouse Detective as Professor Ratigan. that was the first thing I ever saw him in and that was made before I was born. lol. I'd go with that one.

27) Name one living actor or actress you would like to meet
Sean Bean. Do you really need to ask? XD He never disappoints me and he seems like a pretty nice guy.

28) What film would you compliment them for?
>.< So many. I would definatly compliment him for LOTR and Sharpe, Goldeneye would be another.

29) If you could only ever watch 10 films for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Lord of the Rings (as one), MoonChild, Sharpe series (as one), Galaxy Quest, Dogma, Jurassic Park, The Road to El Dorado, Repo! the Genetic Opera, The Lion King, and The Haunting(1999)

30) Name three of your favourite character duos
Laurel and Hardy, Tulio and Miguel (Road to El Dorado), and Legolas and Gimli (LOTR)

31) Who is the most underrated actor or actress currently working?
Aside from Sean Bean? lol. Gideon Emery. He is wonderful at everything he has takken on but is still only known to the gaming community for his voice-over work. Quite sad.

32) If they should make more films from a certain genre, what would it be?
Action or mystery.

33) Which 3 decades were best for films?
1980's, 1990's and 2000's

34) If you could have been an extra in one film, what would it have been and who would you have played?
Return of the King. If I could have been a Gondorian extra it would have made my life. XD

35) What was the last film you saw that made you cry?
Hmm... I really don't cry that much in movies but I'm pretty sure it was Repo! The Genetic Opera.

36) What was the last film you watched but never finished?
Twilight. I couldn't even finish the book I hated it so much... Then I was forced to watch it in Accounting class last year. -_- I hate all the Twilight fanatics next to me. I tried really hard to give it a chance the first day/hour. There was no emotion what-so-ever. The acting was horrid and I found the books/storyline/characters to be stupid. i just walked out of the room with my friend and said (quite loudly), "That was the BIGGEST waste of film i have ever seen in my life!" I perposely left homework undone the next day so I didn't have to watch it. I just can't do it....

37) Which 2010 film are you most looking forward to seeing?
There are a few: Ca$h, Alice in Wonderland, and Takers being the tops.

38) If there was one film you could remove from the face of the earth, what would it be?
Twlight!!! Hands down!! I would rid the world of the books tooo. -_-

39) If there was one actor or actress you could leave on a desert island which was inhabited by flesh eating termites, all the while the island was slowly sinking into the sea, which was filled with actor eating sharks and rabid peanuts, who would it be?
Kristen Stewart

40) If you knew that after standing around in the rain for 16 hours, waiting for a certain actor or actress to come your way, that certain person would shake your hand, have a photo taken with you, sign a picture for you and talk to you for 43 seconds, which person would you wait for?
Again... Do you really need to ask? Sean Bean. I'm already friends with the other person I would put down anyway. XD

41) Is there anything an actor or actress could do, that would make you completely ignore all their future films?
I typically separate a person's professional and personal life so nothing would really make me like thier work less. I mean if they all of a sudden became a horrible actor/actress then that would turn me off of them.

42) If there was one novel you would like to see made into a film, what would it be?
I'd be intersted yet scared of what hollywood would do to L.A. Bank's Vampire Huntress Legend. Seeing a film version of Spring Awaking would be interesting too. The stage version is beautiful and they could do a few more things in the movie that they can't do on stage.

43) Are you more likely to watch a film because a certain actor is in it or just because the film looks good?
I do both equally

44) Would you consider yourself a movie buff?
Yeah. I tend to know more than most in my family.

45) Do you ever watch a film and wish you could have been involved in the creating of it in someway?
All the time.

46) Name one moment when you went "EWW" at something that you saw on screen
Shelob/Giant spiders on screen. Sometimes some of the random Zombies in Zombie movies will look a bit gross. lol.

47) Name three moments where you (almost) wet yourself, when something caused you to jump out of your seat
The Dark Knight (when the fake Batman banged against the mayors window), The Happening (crazy old woman banging her head through the window), The Haunting (The incident with the chimney flue), and My Bloody Valentine (When Hanniger would just randomly appear behind someone and there was no warning signs in the movie)

48) Do you ever skip through boring parts of a film when at home, and if so name one scene where you do this
I really don't do that.

49) If with other people, and they prefer to just watch the boring parts instead, do you try and amuse yourself and if so, how?
I watch it.

50) Are you a single disc DVD buyer, or do you like the double discer?
Double disk. I like extras. lol.

51) Do films play an important part of your life, and if so how?
Yes they do. Though most people just watch them to watch them, I tend to pull lessons from almost all the movies I watch. Sometimes it's funny to realize that the creators are making fun of society or religion and yet no one catches it. A great exapmle: When the Catholic church was boycotting Harry Potter and telling people to go see Happy Feet instead. Happy Feet was just one giant bash on religion.

52) If there was one film you can protect from being remade, which would it be?
The Lord of the Rings and the original Star Wars

53) Do you remember certain events that happened in your life, because you watched a film on that day?
I remember my uncle and I always used to watch a bunch of Buggs Bunny tapes before he died. As for actual films... not really.

54) Can you imagine life without films?
I could imagine it but it would take away my intended major. XD

55) What film did you avoid watching at the cinema, only to regret your actions the most?
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

56) Name 5 quotes you are most likely to find yourself saying
"Obviously." (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix), "I'm pissed off, is what I am!" (Dogma), "When you gotta go, you gotta go." (Jurassic Park), "I hate being right all the time." (Jurassic Park), "Ignore the politics." (Troy)

57) If there was one character who died when they shouldn't have and you would bring back, who would that be?
Boromir and James Norrington

58) If you could go to the Oscars with anyone you wanted, who would you pick?
Ow... tough question. I don't know. the likely answer would be one of myfriends in the business. I have yet to see Gideon in a suit. o.0 I don't know... I guess Sean Bean (You knew it was coming) or Gideon Emery.

59) If you knew you were going to get run over tomorrow by a mutated piece of swiss cheese, what would be the film you watched tonight, to make it the last film you ever saw?
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Hey if I'm going to die I might as well watch them all in one night. XD

60) As it's probably taken you as long to fill this out as it would to watch Ben-Hur, if this survey was a film how would you rate it (be nice to meee..)
It was pretty fun... I don't know a 4/5 I suppose. XD

Well...it's certainly nice to know I'm not the only one with a fixation on one particular person ;)

@Lady Rinoa: BloodRayne? Really? What's the number one rule about Uwe Boll? Don't. Expect. Anything. Good!

And Mr. Sean Bean. It's the voice, right? Definitely the voice.

:annoyed:

Is the position for A-U's local Gene Kelly nut open? Because I'd be glad to take it! :D I'm not sure if I'm the person your thinking of, but I do adore Gene Kelly. I'm surprised you find his characters annoying... I find them funny and charming, and I like the way his dances usually develop character, rather than the canned, vaudeville dances of Fred Astaire, especially during the 40's and 50's. Not that I hate Fred Astaire, at all! I love them both equally, and it's impossible to choose between them because they are so different.

Anyway, to the survey!

1) What was the first film you remember seeing?

I think it was probably Snow White.

2) Do you like that film?

I liked the princess, and the dwarves, but the witch left me traumatized for the rest of my childhood.

3) What film was a childhood favourite?

The Lion King, hands down. :D

4) What was the first film you saw at the cinema?

I'm not sure. I think Toy Story.

5) If there was a film that got you into movies, what was it?

Lord of the Rings. I had literally zero interest in film making, but LotR changed all that.

6) Name 3 films you eagerly anticipated watching at the cinema

Return of the King, Sweeney Todd, Wall-E

7) How often do you go the cinema? (i.e 5 times a month, once a month)

Not often. Once or twice a year.

8) How often do you watch a film? (i.e 5 times a week, once a week)

It varies. Maybe on average... 3 times a week?

9) On average how many films do you watch a year? (i.e 50-70, 100-120)

Probably somewhere between 100-200.

10) Name your three favourite genres

Musicals, mystery/suspense, classic comedy

11) Name one film you can watch again and again

The Phantom of the Opera.

12) What 2 films do you wish you had seen in the cinema?

The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers

13) Name one film you wish you could see in IMAX

Return of the King, especially the battle of Pellenor Fields!

14) Pick one year when the Best Picture Oscar was given to the wrong film, and choose the film that should have won

I'll go with Fellowship of the Ring also.

15) Name the actor/actress who you would most like to see win an acting Oscar in the future

I'd like to see Johnny Depp recognized, too. He does great work but not in academy-friendly roles.

16) Name the director whose films you would go and see because it's him/her

I suppose Peter Jackson. I owe him so much from LotR, that anything else he does will at least pique my interest.

17) What is your favourite soundtrack?

Return of the King

18) What is your favourite film of 2009?

I don't know. I haven't really been keeping up. :P

19) Name your favourite 3 sequels

Return of the King, Spiderman 2, Toy Story 2

20) Name the type of feature you most enjoy on DVD's (i.e commentary, outtakes)

Commentaries

21) Name one actor from the last decade who surprised you with how good they were in a film role

I think Adam Sandler in Reign Over Me.

22) If you could spend the day with one character, who would that be?

Sherlock Holmes as portrayed by Jeremy Brett. If that doesn't count, then Basil Rathbone's will do just fine, too. :)

23) What was the most disappointing film you saw in 2009?

Avatar

24) Who is the most overrated actor/actress either living or dead?

*taps chin* I can't think of anyone specifically right now.

25) Name one deceased actor or actress you would have liked to meet

One?! Okay, then... Jeremy Brett. Yes, I think I would pass up all the greats to meet Jeremy. It seems like he was such a sweet guy.

26) What film would you compliment them for?

If the Sherlock Holmes made for television movies don't count, then My Fair Lady.

27) Name one living actor or actress you would like to meet

Emmy Rossum. Again, she seems like a very sweet and grounded person.

28) What film would you compliment them for?

Phantom of the Opera, naturally!

29) If you could only ever watch 10 films for the rest of your life, what would they be?

The Lord of the Rings, The Phantom of the Opera, Pygmalion, Arsenic and Old Lace, Amadeus, The Petrified Forest, The Lion King, The Importance of Being Earnest (1952), Wuthering Heights (1939), Shall We Dance (1937)

30) Name three of your favourite character duos

Frodo and Sam, Holmes and Watson, Fred and Ginger

31) Who is the most underrated actor or actress currently working?

I think Lee Pace. He did some very serious and challenging dramatic roles, and then he was incredibly good as Ned on Pushing Daisies, but since then (to my knowledge) he's done nothing but bit roles in romantic comedies!

32) If they should make more films from a certain genre, what would it be?

Mysteries-- just good, ol' fashioned whodunnits.

33) Which 3 decades were best for films?

1930's, 1940's and 2000's

34) If you could have been an extra in one film, what would it have been and who would you have played?

An elf in FotR. Or in TTT or RotK. I won't be picky. ;)

35) What was the last film you saw that made you cry?

Wuthering Heights

36) What was the last film you watched but never finished?

I can't recall.

37) Which 2010 film are you most looking forward to seeing?

Alice in Wonderland

38) If there was one film you could remove from the face of the earth, what would it be?

Can we start with most of the comedies made in the last decade?

39) If there was one actor or actress you could leave on a desert island which was inhabited by flesh eating termites, all the while the island was slowly sinking into the sea, which was filled with actor eating sharks and rabid peanuts, who would it be?

Pamela Anderson

40) If you knew that after standing around in the rain for 16 hours, waiting for a certain actor or actress to come your way, that certain person would shake your hand, have a photo taken with you, sign a picture for you and talk to you for 43 seconds, which person would you wait for?

You know, I admire a lot of actors and actresses, but I don't think I would do that for any of them. :P

41) Is there anything an actor or actress could do, that would make you completely ignore all their future films?

Jail time, I think. It would mean they've done something either really bad or really idiotic. I would still see their film if it looked good, though.

42) If there was one novel you would like to see made into a film, what would it be?

The Hound of the Baskervilles, done right. So many times has that book been turned into a movie, but they always get something wrong! Oh, and The Hobbit. Hurry it up, PJ and GT!! :D

43) Are you more likely to watch a film because a certain actor is in it or just because the film looks good?

Both, although they often go together. Certain actors turn up a lot in films that appeal to me.

44) Would you consider yourself a movie buff?

Mm, no, not an all-out buff. More of an enthusiast. :)

45) Do you ever watch a film and wish you could have been involved in the creating of it in someway?

Oh yeah.

46) Name one moment when you went "EWW" at something that you saw on screen

The scene in Pan's Labyrinth when he sews up his cheek! *squirms*

47) Name three moments where you (almost) wet yourself, when something caused you to jump out of your seat

I know it happens a lot... but I can't remember any specific examples.

48) Do you ever skip through boring parts of a film when at home, and if so name one scene where you do this

Sometimes... it depends on the movie. Some big, dramatic movies don't pay off as much in the end if you skip around. Comedies, less so. You can skip to the choice parts without loosing so much.

49) If with other people, and they prefer to just watch the boring parts instead, do you try and amuse yourself and if so, how?

If I'm being good I'll be quiet and daydream a little. If I'm being not-so-good I'll spout off random trivia about the making of or the actors usually to the annoyance the other person. :teehee:

50) Are you a single disc DVD buyer, or do you like the double discer?

I know I should buy the single disc, but I usually end up buying the double disc.

51) Do films play an important part of your life, and if so how?

Yes! They are great escapism, and wonderful things to share and enjoy with other people.

52) If there was one film you can protect from being remade, which would it be?

Casablanca.

3) Do you remember certain events that happened in your life, because you watched a film on that day?

No, I can't think of any. Maybe it'll happen at some point, though.

54) Can you imagine life without films?

Yes. It would be a massive shame.

55) What film did you avoid watching at the cinema, only to regret your actions the most?

Fellowship of the Ring. I got it confused with The Ring. :duh:

56) Name 5 quotes you are most likely to find yourself saying

It varies. I usually quote whatever I last saw. :P

57) If there was one character who died when they shouldn't have and you would bring back, who would that be?

James "I-Should-Never-In-A-Million-Years-Have-Died-In-Such-A-Pathetic-Way-I-Was-Killed-By-A-Walking-Crustacean-For-Pete's-Sake" Norrington <-- Ditto!

58) If you could go to the Oscars with anyone you wanted, who would you pick?

Ah... more choices! Gerard Butler, George Clooney, Clive Owen. In that order.

59) If you knew you were going to get run over tomorrow by a mutated piece of swiss cheese, what would be the film you watched tonight, to make it the last film you ever saw?

Truth be told, The Phantom of the Opera.

60) As it's probably taken you as long to fill this out as it would to watch Ben-Hur, if this survey was a film how would you rate it (be nice to meee..)

Four stars, two thumbs up... whatever you like. ;) :D

 Yeah. I love Sean's voice but he is nice to look at too. ;) I've heard that Sean is a really nice guy too. I honestly hope that I will get a chance to meet him one day but the odds are slim to none. :confuzzled:

As for Uwe Boll: I didn't know really anything about him until I saw that. I am such a big fan of the video games series that I was very mad about the movie. :frust: I looked more into him after that and saw that only about two people actually liked his work and I was confused. Never again will I see another one of his movies... :disgust:

59) If you knew you were going to get run over tomorrow by a mutated piece of swiss cheese, what would be the film you watched tonight, to make it the last film you ever saw?
I did not know cheese was that dangerous. Um... something funny.

60) As it's probably taken you as long to fill this out as it would to watch Ben-Hur, if this survey was a film how would you rate it (be nice to meee..)
Do not know.

1) What was the first film you remember seeing?

The first film I remember seeing at home was Kulla-Gulla. I just checked the Swedish Movie Database and it said that it was shown on TV in 1986 so that'd make sense.

2) Do you like that film?

I love it! I got it on DVD now for xmas and I hadn't even seen it since '86. Was just as wonderful as I remember!

3) What film was a childhood favourite?

A tie between The Neverending Story, The Goonies, The Sound of Music and Ronja Rövardotter. I watched them all equally religiously.

4) What was the first film you saw at the cinema?

Disney's Oliver & Co when it was new in the late '1980s.

5) If there was a film that got you into movies, what was it?

I've never not been into movies. It's always been one of my favorite things to do ever since I was a kid. Movie Night was holy! But I think it's safe to say that the Sound of Music changed my life.

6) Name 3 films you eagerly anticipated watching at the cinema

Apart from all three Lord of the Rings; Jurassic Park, Jumanji and Titanic.

7) How often do you go the cinema? (i.e 5 times a month, once a month)

It totally depends. Some years it's been at least once a month or even more than that and some years I've barely made it to the theater at all. Money always comes into play. But as an average, maybe once every two months?

8) How often do you watch a film? (i.e 5 times a week, once a week)

At least once a day every day.

9) On average how many films do you watch a year? (i.e 50-70, 100-120)

Well if it's at least one per day it should be more than 365 a year, right? But yeah some days I might even watch two or three films, so I'd say around 400 a year. Give or take.

10) Name your three favourite genres

Fantasy, Adventure and Musicals.

11) Name one film you can watch again and again

LotR is way too obvious here so I'm going to go for The Crow.

12) What 2 films do you wish you had seen in the cinema?

Hmm. Edward Scissorhands and Interview with the Vampire.

13) Name one film you wish you could see in IMAX

Not a big IMAX fan to be honest.

14) Pick one year when the Best Picture Oscar was given to the wrong film, and choose the film that should have won

How about almost every single year? The Academy has the worst taste in movies. Nothing but overrated junk.

15) Name the actor/actress who you would most like to see win an acting Oscar in the future

Johnny Depp definitely deserves one. Not for the fact that he's Johnny Depp but because he's absolutely outstanding in every role that he does.

16) Name the director whose films you would go and see because it's him/her

Tim Burton.

17) What is your favourite soundtrack?

You're asking a score fanatic here. But I'm going to go with either Edward Scissorhands or King Arthur!

18) What is your favourite film of 2009?

Angels & Demons, Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince, Dorian Gray and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

19) Name your favourite 3 sequels

The Two Towers, Dead Man's Chest and X2.

20) Name the type of feature you most enjoy on DVD's (i.e commentary, outtakes)

Behind-the-scenes documentaries, deleted scenes and bloopers.

21) Name one actor from the last decade who surprised you with how good they were in a film role

I honestly don't know.

22) If you could spend the day with one character, who would that be?

Jack Sparrow. It would be utterly hilarious!

23) What was the most disapointing film you saw in 2009?

Didn't see any disappointing ones.

24) Who is the most overrated actor/actress either living or dead?

Marlon Brando. I'm not giving him more than 11 words of my time. < Agree with JF here!

25) Name one deceased actor or actress you would have liked to meet

Brandon Lee.

26) What film would you compliment them for?

The Crow. DUH!

27) Name one living actor or actress you would like to meet

Christopher Lee.

28) What film would you compliment them for?

ALL of them! But especially Mio in the Land of Faraway because it was the first movie I saw him in and it's been one of my favorites since I was a kid.

29) If you could only ever watch 10 films for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Lord of the Rings is a given, but also Fanny & Alexander, Allrakäraste Syster, Så Som i Himmelen, Änglagård, Bröderna Lejonhjärta, Ronja Rövardotter, Agnes Cecilia, The Phantom of the Opera and The Village.

30) Name three of your favourite character duos

Merry & Pippin, Pintel & Ragetti and Holmes & Watson.

31) Who is the most underrated actor or actress currently working?

Hans Matheson. Every single role he's done is Oscar-worthy and yet very few people know who he is. I've loved his work for 12 years now.

32) If they should make more films from a certain genre, what would it be?

Adventure! We need more films a la National Treasure, please!

33) Which 3 decades were best for films?

Never really thought about it, but when I do think about it, the films I love were mostly made in the 1980's, 1990's and 2000's so that's what I'm going to say!

34) If you could have been an extra in one film, what would it have been and who would you have played?

Lord of the Rings. Any role!

35) What was the last film you saw that made you cry?

Finding Neverland. Sooo soooo sad!

36) What was the last film you watched but never finished?

I always watch movies from beginning to end. Otherwise I can't really give a fair judgement on it, can I?

37) Which 2010 film are you most looking forward to seeing?

Wolfman, Alice in Wonderland, Clash of the Titans, Kick-@ss, Robin Hood, Prince of Persia, Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows: Part Iand The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader! YAYY!

38) If there was one film you could remove from the face of the earth, what would it be?

Twilight-series.

39) If there was one actor or actress you could leave on a desert island which was inhabited by flesh eating termites, all the while the island was slowly sinking into the sea, which was filled with actor eating sharks and rabid peanuts, who would it be?

Michael Emerson. He just gives me the creeps.

40) If you knew that after standing around in the rain for 16 hours, waiting for a certain actor or actress to come your way, that certain person would shake your hand, have a photo taken with you, sign a picture for you and talk to you for 43 seconds, which person would you wait for?

Eh... no one? NO ONE is worth waiting for, for 16 hours in the rain. Not even 16 hours without rain.

41) Is there anything an actor or actress could do, that would make you completely ignore all their future films?

No? I try to keep their personal lives and persona separate from their movie career. I could care less to be honest what an actor does. If the movie looks good, I'll go see it regardless of who's in it.

42) If there was one novel you would like to see made into a film, what would it be?

All the hauntingly beautiful short stories Astrid Lindgren wrote needs to be turned into films! Especially Sunnanäng, Junker Nils av Eka and Spelar Min Lind, Sjunger Min Näktergal.

43) Are you more likely to watch a film because a certain actor is in it or just because the film looks good?

Usually only if the film looks good.

44) Would you consider yourself a movie buff?

YESS!

45) Do you ever watch a film and wish you could have been involved in the creating of it in someway?

Sometimes, yes.

46) Name one moment when you went "EWW" at something that you saw on screen

Probably all the torture scenes in the Saw movies. Which is about 95% of each movie, haha.

47) Name three moments where you (almost) wet yourself, when something caused you to jump out of your seat

When Kato's head falls off after he turned into stone in Mio in the Land of Faraway. I was deadly afraid of that moment when I was a kid, haha. I can't really think of anymore specific moments. It probably happens in most horror movies I see though.

48) Do you ever skip through boring parts of a film when at home, and if so name one scene where you do this

No, never. The only time I skip through parts is when I put a movie on only because I want to see a specific scene.

49) If with other people, and they prefer to just watch the boring parts instead, do you try and amuse yourself and if so, how?

See above.

50) Are you a single disc DVD buyer, or do you like the double discer?

Double-discer definitely. Well, preferably quadruple-discer but not all DVDs come in such an epic format, haha.

51) Do films play an important part of your life, and if so how?

YES! Life would be so extremely boring without movies.

52) If there was one film you can protect from being remade, which would it be?

ALL films. Remakes are EVIL! EVIL!!!

53) Do you remember certain events that happened in your life, because you watched a film on that day?

Nah, not really. Movies are my escapism, they have very little to do with my real life.

54) Can you imagine life without films?

Nope.

55) What film did you avoid watching at the cinema, only to regret your actions the most?

Can't think of any to be honest.

56) Name 5 quotes you are most likely to find yourself saying

"I know a great sand guy!" (Old School), "Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and...Dodge" (Dodgeball), "Fly you fools!" (FotR), "Fool of a Took" (FotR), "I see dead people" (Sixth Sense)

57) If there was one character who died when they shouldn't have and you would bring back, who would that be?

Don't know to be honest.

58) If you could go to the Oscars with anyone you wanted, who would you pick?

My brother Erik. He loves watching the Oscar's just as much as I do.

59) If you knew you were going to get run over tomorrow by a mutated piece of swiss cheese, what would be the film you watched tonight, to make it the last film you ever saw?

The Lord of the Rings. Extended Edition Marathon. Easy!

60) As it's probably taken you as long to fill this out as it would to watch Ben-Hur, if this survey was a film how would you rate it (be nice to meee..)

8/10. I love long surveys but I hate having to name or list more than one thing for some questions.

Well sorry me old chuck, but it's only fair for some questions to allow more than one answer in case people have so many to choose from. :teehee:

I noticed on some of the single answer questions you answered with more than one anyway. ;)

*GASP* There are a lot of creepier people around than Michael Emerson.
