^Yessss I'm very glad you like it. His voice is incredible. The emotion is just... wow. It's one of those albums I listen to when no one's around so I crank up the volume and run around the house yelling "yeah time for WAR!" Seriously :P

^"A Modern Myth." He repeats the same word two dozen times near the end and it NEVER gets old. If it were any other vocalist I'd be telling him to shut up already, but it's Jared Leto. He can do epic things like that.

What'd you guys think of their last two albums? I like their debut for its originality, but A Beautiful Lie is more accessible I think.

I actually liked "A Beautiful Lie" better than this new album - maybe I haven't really given "This is War" a chance yet, but I think they were perfect on the first go around. And "A Modern Myth" is such an amazing song <3

There was a question on Jeopardy tonight about Jared Leto and I FREAKED out when I heard it! :teehee:

I agree "A Beautiful Lie" is one of my favorites.

Maybe because a lot of the songs were simply amazing. "The Kill" is just... well I love it!

Waaaaaat?! Jeopardy, I wish I had watched it.

^Hmm, really? "The Kill" is my least favorite besides "Hunter" (Bjork does it better), but the radio stations have played it so much that I might be biased. My favorites are "From Yesterday" and "R-Evolve."

Does it feel like we've never been alive?
Does it seem like it's only just begun?

Drums... Jared's lovely screaming voice... eargasm.

I don't listen to the radio stations so I think that is a benefit at times when they take songs that are amazing and overplay them until my ears bleed.

I think another thing that draws me to The Kill is the video... I love the connection to the shining... whenever music and movies come together it puts me in a happy place

It's hard to pick favorites. A Beautiful Lie is another one of the ones I like a lot. I'll have to go listen again to the others...

It was a really easy question -- "When he's not busy being a movie star, Jared Leto fronts this platnum-selling band that is both 'timely' and 'planetary'." :teehee: I screamed "30 Seconds to Mars" and my parents looked at me weird. But hey, it was right and I would've gotten money for it. :P

The Kill reminds me of Norrington, which is why I am in love with it. <3 Linkin Park's "In the End" also reminds me of teh commodore.

Oh jeez speaking of radio stations I remember when they played Hinder's "Lips of an Angel" almost every half hour or less... I love that song but they kept beating it to death over and over.
