I've been introducing one of my friends to classic movies. She hasn't seen any! She hasn't even seen Casablanca. Blew my mind. But so far we have watched The Philadelphia Story and East of Eden. I hadn't seen East of Eden before - it was my other friend's who is in love with James Dean. It was a good movie though. And now I need to get them in love with Cary Grant. Bringing Up Baby is next. Seriously, they need to see movies with him. During Philadelphia Story they were disappointed that Katherine didn't end up with Jimmy Stewart. Me = "No. No no no. Here, look at the trailer to this movie. See? See? Cary Grant is awesome." But since nearly all of my classic movies are his movies, they'll get into it soon enough.

I rented Camille the other day. It's so sappy-- boarding on cheesy-- but it's set in 19th century Paris so of course I love it! I think Garbo's spectacular in it, too, and Robert Taylor looks so young and handsome!
