^ Wow, it's out in America already? *slaps self* Of course it is, if we get in January....silly JF... fancy the UK and the US having films out at the same time. Hahahahahaha.

I'm really glad you liked it, it looks great and although I am not expecting my favourite Disney film Beauty and the Beast to be threatened by it, I hope it's good if not better than most of the 90's films.

It's seriously brilliant. I mean, everything about it is aweosme and you will love it, no worries. JF, given your love for Beauty and the Beast I'm guessing nothing can threaten it, but don't be surprised if this makes it into your top 5.

Gah, I really do want to see this movie (especially after reading what people have to say about it)... if it wasn't for my dad and brother my mom and I would go see it for our Christmas movie tomorrow. :P But, alas, they aren't big into "girly" movies. Someday I'll get to see it. This is no racist comment, btw, but the only thing that puts me off from it is the way Disney promoted it at first... the way there was such a big deal made over the first black princess. I just think they should've... I dunno... been more subtle or not promote that part either way because it almost felt like the movie was only created for that reason. And I'm sure it wasn't. I mean if the story is epic who cares if she's black, white, red, purple or green. :D

WOOT! I saw this a few days ago, and I really truly loved it.

I thought the story was fantastic and really original, and I really loved the style of the animation. The street scenes were really reminscent of the 20's and 30's and the scenes on the Bayou were just gorgeous.

I loved all the characters as well. Even Doctor Facilier who is probably one of the scariest Disney villains in ages. His voodoo scenes were actually quite.... ooooooooh.... in parts which I liked.

I loved seeing the crocodile from Hook has been given a bigger part after all these years. :teehee: Louis was great and he and Ray worked so well together. It was so sad about Ray but the ending with him and Evangeline was so sweet.

*sigh*

It made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

 It's just an awesome movie. And I loved Dr. Facilier. The shadows? Creepy. And I'm pretty sure he has my favorite Disney villain song.

The songs were my favorite part of the movie. They were big, fun, and proud of it. They're just like the old movies. It made me so happy. :)
