And....I almost cried. This was the second time this season I've come near tears, the first time relating to Sawyer and Kate. Ben was beautiful. I knew he would come around to redemption, but I could never have dreamed of anything this awesome.

Okay, just a thought..
What if the whole alternate world is a world were all the characters made the right decisions when they had to? Decisions which they in the past or on the island would have made otherwise, and usually with negative results, but in this world they would do it right?
Take Ben, he did choose for Alex in the alternate world, because her cared more for her than for his potential power. The same decision he made differenly on the island with catastrophic results.
Take Sayid, when his brother was injured he did not go after those men as Nadia asked him, as she wanted him to do no more killing. On the island he just shot two innocent men.
Take Jack, who made the right decision to talk with his son in the alternate world, and was trying to make things right and he did! While being on the island, lets just face it, when Jack tries to fix something.. he fails epically.
So.. that was my theory on the alternate world thingie..
And did I already mention that I love Sun? She's such a sweetheart. I think all characters have flaws except for her..
Oh and I loved teh Broken Ben!
Hurray for this episode!

That episode was pretty awesome. Michael Emerson did an amazing job. Probably my favorite episode this season. First time I actually wanted the flash-sideways.

This was such a good episode! Much better than last week!
It was cool to see the Black Rock again and it was great to have teh mystery of Richard a bit more explained.
And I never thought I'd say this, but I actually felt for Ben. For the first time ever. I almost choked a bit when he said "he's the only one who'll have me". I just wanted to give him a hug. And I can't believe I said that, haha.

Thus far this season has continually gotten better. It had a fairly rough and shakey start but... I think the LOST writers are headed in a good direction. Sayid's ep, Sundown, and Ben's ep, Dr. Linus, were BY FAR the greatest and strongest of the season though. I simply cannot get over how strange, twisted and epic Sundown's end was. (DOGEN DIED! YES!) and even though I hate seeing Sayid possessed or whatever a part of me simply cannot help liking it. though, of course, I will be furious if he and Claire are not redeemed and saved in the end. but still. Ben's ep was not the best Ben episode ever but it was still pretty gosh darn fantastic. *huggles Ben tightly* Ben eps are always win. Oh, also I have enjoyed the flashsideways more these past few episodes. In fact, in the Sawyer ep I actually preferred the flashsideways over the On Island stuff. though in Recon I did want to throw Kate out a window... UGH. >.< Even though I knew it wouldn't happen, I badly wanted to see Claire kill her off. What the heck is she still even alive for?!
I am completely pumped for Richard's centric! It should be good... it BETTER be good.

Johnny's Fan, could you watch it on Hulu.com? They post the episodes a day after they air, and I'm pretty sure that they have all of season six up.
I have to agree, Ben's episode was AMAZING. Ben has long been my favorite character, and over the seasons he has been in we've seen him go through quite a loarge transformation. In the beginning he was this wonderful genius mastermind that always had a plan. He was always one step ahead, always knew what to do, always came out on top. Now in this season he's been taken down a notch, and has become a follower more than the leader he used to be. His line "because no-one else will have me" was heart breaking. He was a once great and powerful man, now reduced to nothing. Not only had he lost his power, but he had also lost any friends, any one to lean on. He was truly alone, desperately hoping to find someone to cling on to.
I like this character change, esecially when we got to see him choosing Alex over power in the alternate universe. He has changed from a man who was once dispised to a man who is pitied.
Of course, I won't be surprised if it turns out Ben still has a wonderful master plan. I actually kinda hope for it. Evil mastermind genius Ben is such a pleasure to watch.
I wasn't as impressed with Sawyer's episode. It wasn't all that bad, but it didn't blow me over either. I just felt like there wasn't any real point to the episode.
I am excited for next week's episode. Richard is another favorite character of mind, and unlike Ben we know very little about him. I can't wait to find out more about his back story.

^ Hulu.com doesn't work in Europe.

^I'll try not to make any spoilerish banners JF! Though this weeks episodes really makes me want to open my photoshop and make lots of them!
What a grand episode. Richard is absolutely one of my favourite characters up till now! I thought that they captured his past very well (in costumes and decors) and I felt so sorry for him. His loyalyty has really been tested but I'm glad that he didn't change sides!
And Hurley rocks as well!

I really enjoyed last nights episode. This season has been kinda bleh, but it has finally started to get good. Locke-centric episode was good, Ben centric episode was the best so far, and the Richard-centric episode was wonderful. I hope they keep going up and don't revert to the temple-esque poo they had in the beginning.
edit: squeeeee I finally did my Ben signature and avatar . I couldn't figure out what text to put on the second signature and then it hit me randomly to use the sweater song by Weezer . Ben looks so cute in his sweater-vest .

This Richard episode confused me. I loved getting definite answers about MIB and Jacob, but it didn't feel like LOST. It felt like an intermission of sorts, and while finding out about our favorite guyliner man was great, I missed the flashbacks/flash forwards/AU time lines. I know those aren't possible for Richard, but....I feel like I'm not making any sense.
I was definitely a bit freaked out when Richard was all, "We're all dead. We're in hell." I bought into it a little, but not seriously. Thank goodness MIB was only lying (like he does best!). I've had a few doubts about the goodness of Jacob at times, but this episode confirmed for me that Jacob truly is good. MIB must not be set loose!

Despite popular belief in the Lost fanbase, Richard does not wear an eyeliner. That's all Nestor naturally. In fact, they even have to put concealer type make-up on his lashes and around his eyes to tone them down.
This was shown in the extras of the Season 5 DVD.
Awesome Richard episode by the way. He's one of my absolute favorite characters. More Richard please!

^ I read about that. (I was so curious I looked it up. ) He says he used to be teased and bullied about it, too. Poor guy!
Richard and Isabella actually had me tearing up. What a sweet, tragic story! It's nice to know who to cheer for, now, too, in regard to Jacob v. Smoke Monster.
