Oh, yes, I'm looking forward to this movie! Even if it isn't as good as the first one (as sequels often are) I'll be able to spend two hours looking at Johnny Depp.    And, even though I'm not a big fan of him, Orlando Bloom definitely ain't bad...

I love pirates. I've been fascinated with them since childhood (remembers pretty girls say "ewww, you're not a boy")......Anyways, POTC is one of my fav (beside the hottt actors) the story itself is captivating. Well planned.

It's coming out on July 7, 2006 I read on a poster in the theaters (when I went to see Elizabethtown)

PotC was't my favorite movie, but from the pics i've seen and what little i've heard it seems interesting. Plus the whole Orlando factor is a given...
SO how was Elizabethtown?

POTC 2 is gonna be awesome! I've read every possible spoiler, have every news site bookmarked on my computer (to check them daily), can list the major cast and their roles almost by memory, and have a daily countdown going in my AIM profile (247 days!). Some might call it obsessed, but I prefer the term "highly interested". :pirate:

I cannot WAIT for #2 or #3! I absolutely LOVE pirate movies and have ever since I was a little kid (The Goonies, Cutthroat Island, Treasure Island, Hook and of course Muppet Treasure Island lol). I am also a huge Johnny Depp fan so that only adds to the bonus :-D Stellan Skarsgård who'll be playing Bootstrap is a fellow Swede so I'll be cheering for him, hehe. AHH PotC rocks :-D *starts humming the score*

Aren't the second and third POTC being filmed together? I think I saw that somewhere.

DamsonRhee, I loved Elizabethtown. It had some glitches, but no movie is perfect. And I thought Bloom and Dunst's chemistry was really nice. They're good actors. The movie brings out a lot of emotion: laughter, gasps, and even tears (uh, I mean teary eyes..lol)

And I love pirates a lot. I remember I thought Peter Pan was so annoying for a time (he's ok with me now). But I did sympathize a lot with Captain Hook (yes, that's how much I like pirates) And I was one for Halloween 3 years straight from a 5-8 year old. Except one year I was a pirate girl, and I loved the corset and swords, lol

It's not crazy, just us havin' fun in our life. It's something we will always remember, then we can look back on it like twenty years from now and say, "Dude, we were geeks." Ha ha!
