This contest is pretty much what it says on the tin: Past Inspired. The aim is to create a specified graphic in the theme of the period stated. Now this is inspired so you don't have to use actual images or people from that period, but draw from the culture and style of it.
This week's theme is Victorian England. To give you a clue of what can be used or what I'm looking for, here is a list of ideas you could use/draw from:
Fashion
Cuisine
Industry
Popular Culture
Literature [Such like Alice in Wonderland]*
ect.
*For this you don't have to use the characters or images, but more draw inspiration from it (the point of the contest) and create a very trippy, wonderland feeling graphic.
Basically I'm looking for the essence and feel of the time. Don't forget; research is your best friend.
so, The Challenge:
Create a Blend that depicts Vitorian England.
Must be 700 x 500px or 800 x 600px.
Due date: Friday 18th (can be extended if needed).
