Turgon walked up to the reception desk. "Hi, I'm Turgon Murphy; would you mind telling me which room I'm in?" he asked. "Sure, you're in room 205 on the second floor," the receptionist said. "Thanks much!" he said brightly. The receptionist glanced back at him and thought "Yank."

Jamie went to her room to shower. Her hair was subject to get very gross very quickly, what she called "The Curse of the Blonde." Afterwards, since she was not needed for the rest of the day, she decided to check out any coffee shops in town, possibly an old book shop. (We are in Wellington, right?) She drove downtown and looked for some booksellers. Of the three she saw, Capital Books looked to be the right one. It was smaller that the others. She marked the address and went off to find a coffee shop. She decided to go with something familiar (Starbucks) until she found another. She stopped and got a capuccino (sp?) and went back to the hotel to read.

Turgon strolled into his room and whistled. It was a nice place, and the mini-bar wasn't so mini. He started to unpack his Tolkien libray with greatest reverence, but only managed to pull out "The Lost Road and Other Writings" before he keeled over onto the floor and snored for hours. Jamie could vouch. He kept her awake two rooms away all night.

(Actually, you would be right next to me because hotels have even numbers on one side and odds on the other. )

(Maybe not in Wellingtonian hotels! Did you ever think of that, Miss S-A Calvin?)

(I'm wrong about your spelling . It's spelled "C-a-p-p-u-c-c-i-n-o".)

The next morning, Turgon got up, looked in the mirror, sniffed his underarm, and determined it did'n't absolutely NEED a shower, and scrambled through his duffel, trying to find a workable outfit. He dressed and went downstairs, to the breakfast section. He made himself an entire pot of Earl Grey and piled a plate with lemons to accent it. This was his morning caffeine boost. He rejected the American love of coffee. "Vile drink, no wonder it was banned for Christian consumption," he said, staring at the coffee machine. "No, that was because Europeans learned of the coffee bean through the Muslim traders. His Holiness made it the drink of the infidel, until he tried a cup of it. Then, it was suddenly less evil," said Miranda Otto, who had just come to the breakfast area. "Sorry, I did'n't introduce myself. I'm Miranda Otto. I do'n't think I saw you at the big dinner two nights ago." "No, I did'n't get in until yesterday about five o'clock. My flight was Delayed in Reykjavik. You know, your personal assistant, Jamie Calvin, is rather a history nut. You should discuss 'Coffee Through the Ages' with her," Turgon replied, buttering some toast. Miranda helped herself to some of his tea. "Well, you're definitely American," she said, "But you make yourself a pot of tea for breakfast. I'll check, but I'm pretty sure that's an oxymoron." They both laughed just as Jamie walked in with Mercedes. Turgon noticed them and invited them over. He himself got up to take a banana from the basket that had been set out. He turned to leave, and then had a thought. He grabbed a plate, then also took a pear from the basket. He put it on the plate and, mocking a procession, walked slowly over to Jamie and presented the pear with a flourish and a bow. "Your pear, Madam," he said haughtily. Jamie smacked him gently and said, "You don't have to be really weird all the time, you know." "Au contraire, Jamie," he replied, " It's the only thing that keeps me going. Now are you gonna take the bloody pear or not? My back's getting tired." "Oh, fine," Jamie said, taking the pear. "When did I tell you I loved pears?" she said suspiciously. "Ah, long ago, before the moon reflected the Sun's brilliance upon our alloted Orb, before the first breath of a wind disturbed.." "Shut up, Turgon," Jamie said with a bite of pear. "You asked," Turgon muttered.

"Well. G'day everyone. So, Ms. Otto, what are we doing today?" she asked in a mock serious voice. "We're not doing too much today. We're doing reaction shots, I think." "Wonderful," said Jamie in a chipper voice.

Turgon loaded up his plate with fried eggs and various sliced meats. Everybody blinked, and then his plate was empty. His next words were eternally in debate, bbut most agree they were "I gotta go to WETA workshop now." He swallowed, and said, "Anybody want to come along?"

(Shots for when there is a blue screen, or she sees something, and reacts to it. Like, when she is reacts to Aragorn's "death", or reacts to seeing the Witchking land on his Fell Beast.)
"Would you like some plate for that food?" Jamie laughed. "I would love to, but I'm not sure there is time. Just design a sword for me or something. But I swear, if, when the movie comes out, I see any orc looking remotely like me, I will personally go to the states and kill you." She smiled
