 at that entire post, Sairahiniel! Morgana coming out of pixie boot camp... 
But I hope Morgana isn't portrayed as evil through and through from the get-go of Season 3. I think, especially after 2.12, she'd be rather confused-feeling angry, and like she'd been betrayed. That, and her (I hope) continuing friendship with Gwen, semi-admiration for Arthur, and hatred for Uther, should make for a pretty volatile emotional state, so I hope we see a bit of a struggle... I don't know. I just want September to be here so I can stop puzzling over it!
BTW, did they release any trailers or teasers for S1 and S2? If so, when could we expect them for S3? July? August? _________________ ~Set by Lembas~ If we grow up we're all going to be famous.

I think Morgana should be kinda dark in s3, just becuase it would actually move the plot along a bit, I don't like how at the start of s2 all the character development made in s1 was pretty much forgotten, making Morgana again would seem like another re-set button, but maybe it would be nice if she gets some kind of redemption in a way. I do agree she has to have some interaction with Gwen, Morgause is kinda cool, but she can't be Morgana's Girl - Friend replacement D:.
Loving the s3 pics, that purple cloak is sooo so pretty!
Erm Merlin is pretty much treated the same as any other BBC drama (Doctor Who is a special case and gets tons up hype months in advance) so I think S3 trailers will probably show up around the start of September about 3 weeks before the series shows. It could be a little bit earlier, but I think it's unlikely. Looks like we have to make do with onset pics until then

Oh, I absolutely agree. At this point the plot points need to start moving, and Morgana needs to be getting darker and darker. Arthur's reversal to pratly prince in early S2 especially irked me. I just don't want it to be *bang* Morgana's evil, with no more affection towards Arthur/Gwen/Merlin, and no ethical struggle as to whether or not she's betrayed them. _________________ ~Set by Lembas~If we grow up we're all going to be famous.

From what I've seen of spoilers, I do believe they are going to ease Morgana into the "officially" evil status, even though the producers have stated that she is officially of a villain status. Of course, I can only imagine that Morgause will poison Morgana's view on everything and how <b>can</b> Merlin explain an attempted poisoning like that? I mean, he flat out used Hemlock, and NO ONE DISCOVERED THAT MERLIN IS MAGICAL.
So here's another wish for season 3, SOMEONE'S GOTTA FIND OUT MERLIN'S MAGICAL. like.... GWEN. Because Morgana's gone, obviously, and Arthur can't know because that's ... pretty much the end of the series. lol

But at least they will start the 'evilness', I hope. Because Uther being the only bad guy - really - is starting to wear on me. Season premiere anyone? -hopeful-
BUT YES. SOMEONE DOES NEED TO FIND OUT ABOUT MERLIN. I think that Gwen is the obvious choice, but as we know, Lancelot already knows. So who know? Maybe a little Lancy/Gwen/Merlin thing? Its a miracle that no one knows about him yet actually xD Merlin isn't the world's most careful magician, to put it mildly.

If she did, she could maybe assume Merlin figured it out somehow, (improbable, I know). On the other hand, if she had no idea she was causing the magic, from her point of view it's a completely inexplicable murder attempt. I guess. Wow, I'd never thought about that. They are making a 'pre- King Arthur' series, so I would guess once Uther dies that's it?
Uther isn't the only bad guy; there was Nimueh and Morgause, as semi-regulars in Seasons 1 and 2, and various others scattered through out the seasons.

I dunno why, but Uther really annoys me. Maybe its because he's a really big hypocrite. I think that may be it. And the fact that they need to find more things to make him antagonize about, because there is only so many seasons in which they can have him hating on magic and it not getting old.
Also, I dont really consider the other's bad guys xD I rather like them, actually. Especially Morgause. She's like... badass awesome. And she has pretty hair.

*Squeeeee* I don’t know if it is or if it’s just a fan blend, but it’s so epic! <333 Morgana looks seriously cool, in a spooky way.

Camelot has been very focused on the search for Morgana, and Uther has been very concerned about where his ward is” he said. “But when she comes back it’s very intriguing as to where her allegiances lie and what’s happened to her. She’s been on quite a journey.”

Omygoodness, the trailer is just so incredibly amazing!  <3 *squeeee* Okay, I’m seriously excited for season 3 now. Hurry up September!
I must say, Morgana is particularly epic, even though it v.much seems like she’s on the villainy side of things – I just hope her transition from good guy to “bad” guy is subtle and well done.
All those battles and new characters! This looks to be an amazing season. _________________

As a newbie to Merlin, I have no idea what's going on here. I've got only 10 episodes under my belt.  But yeah, just wanted to stop in and join in the Merlin love. And Arthur love, you know, because he's just that good.  _________________

Welcome to the fandom, SilverRose! Merlin is so epic. *huggles*
Gosh, that trailer is fantastic. I cannot wait for Morgana's story arc and I hope I hope I hope that they rock it. Her evil smile after greeting Uther just sent chills down my spine.
As an A/G shipper of course I loved the little moment between them, especially since it was light hearted. What can I say, I like happy ships.
I'm also looking forward to Uther suiting up and fighting. Because he's just that awesome.

Yes! Go Uther! I'm working through the 2nd season again (with my younger brothers; they're now hooked ) and we really need more backstory on him. I hope they give it to us.
Something I found wandering through LJ's convoluted paths: A picspam/commentary/comparison between Lancelot/Guinevere and Arthur/Guinevere. The author/picspammer comes from an L/G background and it was interesting reading her thoughts on A/G. I thought it was pretty darn cool.
