It has been 100 years since the free peoples of Talanar fell under the rule of Alastor. Once he was a wandering sorcerer in these lands, no one knew his past and his origins. He travelled from town to town, gaining followers and sowing the seeds of discord between Talanar’s free nations. Blinded by their quarrels they couldn’t perceive the growing threat in the person of the mysterious mage. He managed to gather enough followers to assemble an army to conquer Talanar. Having realized Alastor’s true intentions, the remaining free nations of Talanar formed an Alliance against him, but it was already too late. Alastor’s army seized one by one each town, creating the Great Empire. Alastor proclaimed himself High Emperor.
Trough the years Alastor expanded the borders of the Empire, undertaking war campaigns beyond the Emerald Seas. Even the legendary Silver cities, considered as the birthplace of the Deck of Foresight, couldn’t withstand the Empire’s might. Now, despite prospering trade relations between the conquered cities, the Empire is weakened by constant wars. Rumours of an ancient prophecy shake the foundations of Alastor’s authority. A party of rebels that escaped from convict’s mines in the Grey Mountains, led by the former High Priestess of the House of Light Dirael, has gathered in the ancient desert of Sintar, searching for the Lost Book of the Fallen. It has been foretold that with this book Alastor’s rule will be brought to an end. But the High Emperor does not plan to give up on his domination so easily. Now he sends his most trusted servants – Biara, High Priestess of the House of Shadow, and Marbas - Supreme General of the Dark Squad, to crush the rebellion.

Yay, it’s a RP.
It’s been a while since I’ve role played and I’ve missed it very much.
I came up with this RP few days ago while I was reading. Well, now let’s give some more details around the plot:

- Dark Squad – The Emperor’s personal guard (elite force)
The Deck of Foresight
- House of Light: King (Healer), Queen (Dreamer), Mage, Knight, Swordsman
- House of Shadow: King (Death), Queen (Nightmare), Lich, Dark Knight, Skeleton Warrior
Here I’d like to say a few words about this Deck of Foresight and the Priests. It’s like the Tarot-cards: each Priest, a.k.a each Mage, has such deck and he or she can make some predictions based on the drawn cards. (No, they can’t predict the future, they just try to read the signs they receive through the cards.)
