Attempting to come across as a little less sardonic than her usual self Narcissa prompted Damon to continue. "I'd love to hear more about your vegan vampire days, really," she said, "I know several vampires in the mag- I mean, back home." She mentally berated herself for almost giving too much away. The aura around Lucius, still sitting next to her, screamed caution, and she took a deep breath to reinstate her usually poised look. In the lull, she noticed several new people joining the party, and she took particular notice of a man in a leopard print jacket that made her mentally shudder.

Sparkle followed the rest of the guests to the dining room. After clapping frantically in her hands after hearing Kit's little speech, she studied all the queer-looking group of guests; their sparkle-level was quite low, but Sparkle would amuse herself..
Taking a bite of a muffin she joined in the conversation with Georgianna and the Horseman. "Hopefully has our hostess arranged new personnel. I always thought them to be highly inadequate." Sparkle pursed her silvery lips and piped up: "And they looked so dull! No wonder people got killed around that house..!"

Damon smiled at Narcissa's interest. "Oh, alright," he smiled. "I used to be horribly violent and all of that jazz; the nature of vampires is quite hard to ignore. For 150 years, I was a normal vampire, which led to many mishaps and...ermm....misplaced bodies....back in Mystic Falls (Vampire Diaries reference). But then one day I decided to completely rid myself of the horrible nusance that is human blood and to go green. Err, purple. And here I am, vegan as can be."
After Damon finished his monologue, he noticed a man in an eye-catching leopard print coat who looked ill at ease. Since Damon loved to make a scene, and the man's coat was certainly flamboyant, he couldn't help but immediately like the man. He grinned and waved.

Marie was just about to thank their host for letting her travel with them all to France when it had become quickly obvious to her that it was a yearly social gathering that she was unintentionally crashing. It wasn't like she'd intended on traveling on this particular boat, it was just the only one available, so she was going to make the best of the situation. And then Kit said something about deaths, which caused the Queen to half choke on a bite of cake she'd been eating.
She looked around the room at all the strangers, not at all comforted when she could imagine a good half of them being murderers. And murders at sea? It was almost perfect, out in the middle of the Atlantic where no one would be able to come to their rescue. Suppressing a shudder at the thought, Marie told herself to keep her imagination in check. No one was going to be murdered on a cruise ship. It was preposterous.
Still, she slipped over to Georgiana, the only person she'd really conversed with thusfar.
"Was she serious about the deaths at her parties? I'm not really supposed to be here, this was the only boat that was available."
She took a deep breath, plastered a smile back onto her face to mask the worry there.
"I apologize, dear. I'm just a bit nervous, you understand. Oh, what an excellent coat!"
Unabashed, Marie swept herself over to the man who'd just arrived, feeling his sleeve. If she had a profession, it might be considered shopping, and so she was extremely impressed by any piece of clothing she hadn't yet seen. It was only after she'd circled the man, looking at the cut of the coat at all angles, that she realized how awkward she must look.
"Oh dear. I'm sorry, I was just admiring your coat. It's an excellent fabric."

The Horseman turned to the newcomer in his conversation and was fairly surprised to see yet another guest from last year. He always liked meeting old aquaintances again, although it did not often happen, and he liked to meet others much more than some.
"Sparkle, if I am correct" he said politely, although he knew that it would be expected of it him to remember, and really it was all just good form. He took her hand and bent over it formally in a little bow. "How nice to see you again" he said, smiling inwardly to himself-so-no-one-could-see-it.

Sparkle looked up as Marie approached them and shared her nervousness with them. Sparkle decided to be friendly, as the woman looked quite alone and nervous, and to answer her question in order to reduce her fear.
"Well a dozen of people or so got killed last year.." she shrugged, wrinkling her nose. "It got awefully messy in the end."
Sparkle turned upon hearing a familiar voice. It was the Horseman! And he was still.. erm.. headless..
"My dear Horseman!" Sparkle squeeled, offering him an almost sickening, sweet smile, forgetting the fact that he couldn't actually see it. "It so lovely to meet you again!" she uttered breathlessly. "I didn't know you would like cruises like these.."

Marie blinked at Sparkle, glad for the sunglasses that she was still wearing. The other woman was more animated than she was used to, even having been around the royal courts all her life. Added to that was her...glittering personality and the queen was feeling just a bit overwhelmed by her presence.
Before she could greet her, and ask her if she was serious or not about the deaths the previous year, the woman turned and greeted the headless man. Her eyes darted around the room, but there really was no way for her to leave graciously and without looking like she really was trying to avoid him. If there was one thing the Queen of France knew, it was saving face. Turning back to the table, she got another piece of cake and turned, handing the plate out to the horseman.
"Cake?" she squeaked, not entirely sure where to look when she addressed him.
The sparkle-laden woman didn't seem to have a problem with him, so why should she? Still, his headlessness was even more unnerving up close.

The Signora Psyche Zenobia ascended the gangplank, exuding pomp and gravity in spite of her small, compact (miniature, really) frame. Her [s]un[/s]faithful servant, Pompey, was stumbling behind her, burdened with an absurd amount of luggage. When he reached the deck, he dropped the bags, and bolted off the ship, in an effort to get as far away from this crazy woman as possible, and wisely taking advantage of her trip to France to do so.
The Signora Psyche Zenobia was quite ignorant of this, being in deep concentration. (It takes much concentration to exude that much gravity and pomp.) She called out, "Pompey, give me my hand bag. Then take the luggage to my room." She held out her hand, but no hand bag was placed in it. "... Pompey?" She looked around. No sign of the man! With an aggravated growl, she took up her bags, nearly disappearing under their large bulk, and proceeded to take them down to the cabins. "The Signora Psyche Zenobia carrying things!" she thought, "Disgraceful! What are times coming to?!"
And she stumbled down the corridor.

Marie really did have to keep herself from fainting again, being addressed by someone without a mouth, face, or head having been more troublesome than she'd anticipated. Settling on looking at his chest, which was about eye-level for her anyways, she curtsied.
"My name is Marie Antoinette. I didn't catch your name, sir."
Taking another piece of cake for herself, she took a dainty bite and looked around at the other guests milling about. There didn't seem to be enough on board to fill all the rooms she'd seen. Before she could ask if they'd be leaving soon, the headless man produced a great number of little pumpkins, half of them rolling to all corners of the room with the motion of the cruise ship on the water. She bent to pick up one that had fallen at her feet, turning it over in her hands.
"What a pleasant trick. They're adorable little things."

Frowning, Fuschia stumbled after the guests into the dining room, suddenly hungry for food.
Looking up she caught sight of their lovely hostess and waved.
Kit ignored her. With a sigh, Fuschia made her way over to the table filled with food, taking care to avoid the various mini pumpkins that had fallen out of the Headless Horseman's cloak.
Curious, she picked up one, weighed in her hand and smiled, 'Pumpkin. Ha. Fascinating.' It had a nice weight to it and just looking at it made her more hungry.
Weird.
She didn't like pumpkins. Eating them anyway.
With a grin, she again made her way over to the table and took a cookie, as it seemed like the only thing her dwindling appetite allowed her to stomach at the moment.
Deaths on a cruise would not be a good thing. But noone was dead.
Not yet anyway. Fuschia sure hoped not. Would be tragic. Not something she would be really be putting in her blog after this was over anyway.
Nibbling silently on her cookie, her eyes travelled around the room, resting briefly on each of the other guests before moving to the design of this particular room.

Edward Elric was running late. Not that he felt very bad about this, but Winry was starting to get on his nerves about being late. Avoiding the ramp into the ship entirely, the alchemist clapped his hands together, forming his own ramp in front of him and dashed up it, Winry and her dreaded wrench close on his heels. "We're here now! Happy?" he panted, wiping his brow with his human hand and leaning against the railing with his automail one.
"Quite" responded his companion, smirking smugly at him. "Lets go find the others on this ship." The pair proceeded down to the dining room, hoping to find people there to converse with.
(OOC: Feel free to talk to Ed! He doesn't bite!)

Narcissa nodded as Damon finished telling his story, and she suddenly realised that Lucius had disappeared into the crowd. She stood up and offered her hand to Damon.
"It's been such a pleasure meeting you. I hope we'll see more of each other through out the week, but right now it seems my husband has wandered off, and I'd best go find him," she said as cheerfully as she could as she craned her neck over the growing crowd.
The headless man, Algie she had heard his name was, had let loose a plethora of small pumpkins and had thoroughly distracted several people in the group. Perhaps, she thought, that would be the best place to start looking.

Richard scanned the crowd, and in doing so noticed a man waving at him. Well, it had to be directed at him, didn't it?
Ignoring the cascade of pumpkins, he forced a smile as he walked over.
"Hello," he greeted the leather-clad gentleman, sounding Welsh-er than he'd intended and disappointingly shy. "Er, lovely party, yeah?"
There was a woman there as well, who appeared to be looking for someone. Richard gave her a nod of acknowledgement; she seemed distracted, and it hardly seemed worth starting a conversation with her as well if she was going to leave.

In her frantic search for her husband Narcissa plowed right into the group gathered around Algie. "I'm terribly sorry," she said hastily, staring up at the headless man, who seemed much too daunting for the tiny pumpkins that had fallen from his coat, "Have any of you seen a man with- Lucius!"
Lucius Malfoy appeared from around the corner, snake cane in hand, and seeming totally unconcerned with his absence. He approached his wife, nodded at her (which, of course, only increased her perturbation with him), and then swept his eyes over the group that had fallen mostly silent.

Tar had by now, gotten herself completely lost, having wandered in the complete wrong direction. However, she followed the voices again, and found herself in what she assumed to be the dining room, though it was always likely that she was wrong, with the full crowd.
She arrived in time to witness a very ominous welcome from their host, and nearly burst with the excitement of having caught it on tape. She pushed her way through the guests so as to interview their very...gracious host, her pen poised.
