That's very true. And my spider senses tell me that those clues are so obviously leaning towards one of us (i.e Mrs. Lovett) that we are more than likely bound to choose her first for the killings... and therefore it won't be her.

Mrs. Lovett is the first person I thought of, and I think we should probably guess her just to get the idea of it out of the way. It could be a red herring, or the murderer could want us to think that it is a red herring. It can't hurt to guess her though.

Oooh, Mrs Lovett seems like a good guess. But, maybe too obvious for the first murder, you know...
Uhm, motives...? I know last year some of the people I killed were for specific reasons... others random... so, I don't know if we can really tell...
