@ Marie:
Nah.. it all sounds not so valid to me.. sorry.
My thoughts are that the flour is a red herring.
- Mrs Lovett and Marie are obvious candidates as they both had something to do with slithing throats.. but I also thought of Phycho Zenobia (sp?:P ) for in the story of Edgar Allen Poe she was decapitated by a clock. (I know, weird story ) _________________

I don't think the throat-slitting really has anything to do with it, since Lucius was just a secondary character to Narcissa anyways, and Narcissa was stabbed in the back.
Anyone in a story about back-stabbing?

Whenever I think of back-stabbing I think of betrayal. I doesn't literally have to mean, backstabbing.
Like Snape, being killed by Voldie.. So Harry Potter. Or Maximus in the Gladiator. There are like a thousand movies in which such things happen.
Perhaps the killer was out for vengeance.. but why?

That's a good point about Lucius. Kit might already have decided who and when the first victim would die, but Lucius could have just been because he was a partner. All the throat cutting suggests is again the modus operandi (see I can use big words) is a knife.
I think poor Eliza was accused last year as well (almost).

If I remember correctly, I almost got everyone to accuse Eliza last year. Not even sure what the arguments were, but it was compelling.
Anyways, who all is associated with knives then?

-The Horseman(sword)
Also, there IS an armory on the ship. Are we absolutely sure it was a kitchen knife that was used? If not, we may find the murder weapon in there.

I must say that it is a weird thing to have on a ship.
I think we should explore the armoury. In past Hallowfests when we've explored places Kit has popped up with clues.
It could be a small sword rather than a kinfe.

I really don't believe for a second that it was Algie. I know that all the clues point towards Marie or Lovett, but I really don't think we have enough right now to make even a slightly educated guess. Someone else needs to die.

But yes, if I must cast a vote, I'm going to vote Marie. Because it just wouldn't be a hallowfest if I didn't just guess the seemingly most obvious person.

It also wouldn't be Hallowfest if you didn't vote for me at least once. I'd have been surprised if you didn't.
Though let me point out that Marie doesn't like blood and wouldn't be very likely to be baking, or anywhere near a kitchen for that matter.

Something tells me it wouldn't be Marie... even though I'm not judging by the character - there is rarely a direct connection to the character/alias, is there?
The smell of bread points to PD the pizza maker and Marie the cake-crazy. Perhaps even Sparkle who enjoys to make muffin/cookie plates for a certain someone.
