As they arrived at a secluded corner of the camp ground, the bandit set Rosalina down and immediately started to ravish her.

Calista turned to look at Gareth for a moment, tears in her eyes. "It is clear to me now that I cannot stay here. I've caused my sister nothing but pain. Once I return to Julius we will both be free. She can live with Darius in peace. And I---I will never have to feel pain again," she said softly, knowing that as soon as Julius found her he would kill her. Darius was right to hate her. She could not even look herself in the mirror without wanting strike out at her reflection in utter hate.

Still glaring at Calista, Darius morphed into a lion to see if he could make out her scent and then tear the bandit in two.

Rosalina woke when she was set down, her face paleing a she realised what was about to happne. SHe tried kick him back but failed as she screamed into the gag, crying.

Smirking at her tears, the bandit just ravished Rosalina, the girl's tears only making the assault all the more pleasurable.
"Mine turn!" another bandit yelled as he shoved the other bandit aside and grabbed Rosalina as if she were a piece of meat and proceeded to ravish her.

Completely stunned as Gareth hugged her, Calista took a moment to react. Never before had her husband treated her in such a manner. Whenever he got close to her, it was either to hit her, kick her or force their passion play. Slowly wrapping her arms around Gareth she returned the hug. "Why?" she whispered. "Why do you want me to stay when I have brought nothing but pain to everyone here? And if I remain I will just bring more heartache. It will be safer for you if I leave," she added softly, yet she was reluctant to move from his embrace.

Sniffing at the ground, Darius hoped to pick up Rosalina's scent. A feeling of dread had washed over him...almost as if he could feel Rosalina's terror. Rosalina had better be well or I swear I will tear every last bandit to pieces and then make that older sister of hers suffer, he thought as anger and worry coursed through his veins.

Laughing at the woman's plight, the bandit continued to ravish her. "Enough!" Jacob shouted as he made his way to the group. "You vermin have the audacity to take a woman without first giving her to me?" he growled "I should have your hearts for this!" he exclaimed. Turning to Rosalina then, he gave the woman a cruel smile. "I am going to enjoy you," he whispered. "And then I am taking that blonde with you," he said with a grin before ravishing her next.

A bit shocked by his words, Calista felt her eyes mist with tears again, though these were not from sorrow. She could not understand why Gareth was being so nice to her, certain that she did not deserve such kindness. "Oh Gareth," she whispered softly. "Everyone around me just seems to get hurt. Or they suffer because of my sins. And I don't want to see you hurt," she added softly. "I don't ever want to see you hurt," she whispered.

Picking up Rosalina's faint scent, Darius quickly followed, vowing to kill all who hurt her.

Listening to Gareth speak, Calista still felt a bit nervous---not wanting him harmed because of her---and yet her fear started to abate a little. Raising her head, Calista just stared up into his hazel-green eyes. "Thank you, Gareth," Calista said softly as she gave him a weak smile. "I just want you to stay safe," she whispered. "You have already done so much for me, and mere thanks is not nearly enough for what I owe you."

As the scent grew stronger, Darius quickened his pace, hoping to find Rosalina in time.

Rosalina struggled. she looked around for help, but all she saw were the bandits. and in the dark, they all looked the same.

"Quit struggling wench," Jacob remarked as he hit her. Once finished with her, he tossed her to a group of his men.

"I can't help it," Calista murmured softly before hesitantly raising her hand and lightly caressing Gareth's face with her fingertips. "I just seem to be a curse to everyone around me. If I hadn't been here, Rosalina..."she started to say but found she could not finish the sentence and her face fell at the thought of what her sister could experiencing now. "Gareth...do...do you think she is all right?" she asked meekly, her voice small.

Hearing the laughter of the bandits, Darius quickly morphed into a dragon and burst on the scene. Seeing them treat Rosalina as if she were a mere piece of meat both broke his heart and sent a fire of rage pulsing through his veins. "Unhand her this instant!" he bellowed before letting out a menacing growl.

Rosalina tried to get away from the men, but they grabed at her.suddenly no one was grabbing at her and she crawled away to a spot in some bushes, shaking and crying.

As the group of bandits surrounded him, Darius let out another sharp growl before incinerating them. As some tried to attack his flank he evaded their strikes and slashed them with his claws. When the straggling group of what remained of the bandits finally retreated, Darius morphed back into his human form and began to search for Rosalina. Finally finding her among some brushes, Darius felt his heart break at the sight of beaten and bruised woman. "Oh, Ro. I am so sorry," he whispered. "I should have been able to protect you," he added sadly, with tears in his eyes, as he knelt at her side and gently removed the gag from her lips.

Nodding at Gareth's words, Calista felt as if her heart would break. If Rosalina was injured she would never be able to forgive herself---she would rather die by Julius' hand. Nor would any beating or ravishing be as painful as the realization that her sister would have been injured because of her. "She is my little sister..." Calista whispered. "I was supposed to protect her..." she whimpered, her voice breaking.

The moment the gag was taken from her mouth rosalina realised she wasn't alone. Looking, all she saw was a male figure beside her. Screaming she scampered away from him.

"Ro, it's me!" Darius told her gently. "You are safe, now, beloved. I won't hurt you," he whispered, not sure if he should approach her while she was in this state of fear.

Hearing the scream, Calista's face turned ashen and she felt her legs grow weak. Hearing Gareth address her shortly afterwards snapped Calista back to the present. "No!" she exclaimed, her voice tight with fear. "If my sister is in trouble I need to find her. Please, don't stop me," she begged.

"Ro...I won't hurt you," Darius said as he remained in his spot, as if to prove to her that he loved her, although all he wanted to do at the moment was to take her into his arms.

Holding on to Gareth for strength, Calista could only pray that her sister was all right. Hearing the blood curdling scream had chilled her to the bone. "Heaven...please..." she murmured softly. "Punish me, but not my sister..."
