Yet another movie by Zack Snyder with his glorious slow-mo. Honestly this movie looks like it was made on acid and it is just amazing! It has fire-breathing dragons, jail bait amazons, giant samurai with Gatling guns, Nazi zombies (?), Second World War fighter planes, and mechas.

I definitely want to see this.

I think it looks pretty interesting myself :) Is it true that they completely recast most of the roles? I'm pretty sure I heard something to that effect...

Anyway, I don't know if anyone here is familiar with the music of Emilie Autumn, but she has this whole concept of her "asylum for wayward Victorian girls," and the movie trailers for Sucker Punch reminded me of that. No, that isn't tangential, not in the least... :-P

Augh! I am so stoked to see this movie, I loved Watchmen (300 was okay), and Zach does an excellent job with this style of radical-fantasy-historic-dramatic stuff. Me and a group of friends are going to see it when it comes out. I have extremely high hopes for this, if it's anything like the trailer, it'll be really good.

To me, it seems very anime-esque and that's where the appeal in the movie for me comes from. Honestly it feels like Bayonetta with all the fetish fuel and audacity, I just hope it is every bit of over-the-top as the trailers say it is.

Can't wait for this movie to come out. The director is an artist, 300 was an amazing movie.
Ive heard this movie being described as Alice in Wonderland with guns. Alice in wonderland was a great movie i thought.
maybe after its released we could make a discussion about what we all thought about it.
hopefully it'll be awesome!

It was a decent movie. Visually, very well done, as you'd expect from Zach, the soundtrack was amazing, the version of "Sweet Dreams are Made of This" was FANTASTIC. Plot-wise, it was a bit of a let down personally, especially after Watchmen, which was so twisted and elegantly done. But it was a good escapist movie, and definitely worth the 9 bucks.

Well to be fair to Mr Zach Snyder, Watchmen was adapted from one of the best comic books of all time.
