"Ro...stop..." Darius murmured. "Y-you didn't...know this would happen..." he muttered.

Hearing sounds in her sister's room, Calista slowly rose to her feet and moved sluggishly to Rosalina room. Upon entering, her face paled as she saw Darius in her sister's bed looking sickly and her sister fretting over him. "Wh-what happened?" she questioned, feeling her legs shake beneath her.

Rosalina saw her sister. "Darius was poisoned. " She said quietly and guilt ridden.

"What?" Calista squeaked, her face growing pale. "Oh, god, this is all my fault...If I...didn't try to drown myself...none of this would have happen," she whimpered. "Ro, I am...so sorry..." she said softly, tears stinging her eyes as her breathing grew ragged. I would be better off dead, she thought to herself.

"No..." Calista whispered, shaking her head as tears fell from her eyes. "If I didn't try to drown myself, you wouldn't have sent him away and your love would have been here safe. I keep messing everyone's life up!" Calista wailed before gasping for breath as she felt her chest tighten.

Calista tried to return her sister's hug but had a hard time doing so as she continued to gasp for breath. As her legs gave out at that moment, Calista sank to her knees as she just continued to pant, unable to draw in a decent breath.

"I-I'll...be...o-o-okay..." Calista panted. "G-go s-sit with...your...love..." she whispered hoarsely as she still continued to gasp for breath, remaining on her knees as she just stared at the ground.

Calista did not know how to respond to her sister, not exactly sure if she wanted the mage to see her as she was. Yet as the moments wore on her breathing grew more labored as she was becoming light-headed from lack of air.

Meanwhile, Gareth had decided to wait out in the hallway to give Rosalina and Darius some space but remained near in case they needed him again. Nor did he just want to wait in Calsita's room, not wanting any noise to disturb her while she rested in case Rosalina needed his services for Darius again.

"I will be back." Rosalina said and left the room to look for Gareth when she saw him. "Gareth, calista can't breath."

Hearing the guilt laced in Calista's voice and now the woman's ragged gasping caused a new guilt to well deep within Darius' heart. "I'm sorry..." he muttered though he knew that the woman could not hear him.

"Uhhh..." Calista moaned, feeling as if an invisible hand had sealed off her airway. Raising a hand to grab her throat, Calista saw the room float before her eyes before everything went black. As her glazed blue eyes rolled back and her lashes fluttered close, the girl fainted away and crumpled over in a heap.

Hearing footsteps, Gareth turned expecting Rosalina to tell him that something was wrong with Darius. When she said that Calista couldn't breathe, Gareth felt his heart drop as the color drained from his face. "Take me to her at once," he told Rosalina, his voice tight with worry.

Rosalina lead Gareth to her sister where he went to the woman seeing how she wa limp. "Calista." He patted her cheek and listened for breath, hoping he was not too late.

Calista remained out cold as Gareth patted her cheek. Nor did any breath flow from her nose or mouth.
