I can't wait for it to come out!  I heard that Elijah Wood is going to be in the Hobbit, not sure if its true or not. Anyone else heard that? _________________

What I'm wondering is will they be who they are in the trilogy or different people?
I guess Saruman could be Gandalf but that wouldn't be right!

Isn't Saruman present at the Council that decides to shoo the "Necromancer" out of Mirkwood? I expect they'd include that part in the films...and that's probably where Galadriel would fit in, too. I do know (er...last I heard anyway) that Sir Ian McKellen is signed on as Gandalf, so there won't be any switching roles there  _________________

I just looked it up on IMDB, it says that there will be a part one and two. I wonder how they will split it up?

^ That's still the great debate. Don't think there have been any official announcements about the splitting point as of yet! Thoughts on where they SHOULD split it, anyone?
