^Agreed. That moment though may be surpassed by the fish biting Eleven everytime he's about to go on his technobabble.

I don't understand how people didn't like that episode. It was sweet, and NOT ridiculous, which I think is a first for a Christmas special.
I loved it. That's all I can say.

Doctor Who has this knack of making me want odd pets.
First it was K-9. Was obsessed with that dog growing up XD
Then it was an Adipose daaaaaw how can lumps of fat be adorable? but they are
Then it was Ood...Chthulu gone wrong things but I want one.
Now I want a flying fish.

"Are you from the honeymoon suite?"
I DIED. It was just priceless. And how annoyed Amy was was also pretty damned priceless. And with a beginning like that, it really only got better.
Matt's entrance, and the Sinatra reference, and Scrooge right off the bat. Brilliant.
AND THEN IT GOT EVEN BETTER. I love the fish, and I loved the SINGING. God, it was so haunting and beautiful, and I had tears in my eyes at the end. Which is exactly what I wanted from a Christmas special.
Compared to the last two years, this one was really everything I wanted. Last year's was the rather upsetting regeneration, and it didn't have much of Christmas in it, and the year before was a little... off the mark for my taste. But this one had all the right Christmassy point, and it FELT Christmassy and it was AWESOME.
Also, Nurr, I NOTE THAT MY CHRISTMAS PRESENT IS ON LIVEJOURNAL 8D Which just happens to be my current background

I so want to join!!!
But the thing is... I was only able to watch seaons 1-4 on Netflix... but Netflix doesn't have seasons 5 and onward on instant play... so I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that did have them? I've tried youtube, but no luck. I've tried the BBC website, but no luck... at least when it comes to the American portion which seems to be the only portion it'll let me access... so... could anyone help me out here?

Saira: Yes. Yes it is. It just worked perfectly.
So Rain, did you finish yet? Are you in love with Matt Smith yet? so that may not be a requirement, but...
Can it be spring yet?

^Sure, join right in. I think I'm finally able to pinpoint why I love Eleven so much. The way I see it, there are two parts to the Doctor - the Doctor part, and the Time Lord part. The Doctor part is the whole alien, crazy, bouncing off the wall, speak in long sentences, make big hand movements part. Whereas the Time Lord part is Quote: He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and he can see the turn of the universe. David Tennant was more Doctor than Time Lord, but Matt Smith blends it so perfectly. You can just see the ancient part of him and it's brilliant.
