So... Hi, everyone!
I'm Apolloette... I'm a huge fan of all of Tolkien's books, though I'm not going to claim to have read them all yet. I finished the Lord of the Rings recently (and loved it!) and am currently reading the Hobbit; I already have the Silmarillion checked out from my school library, too. Oh, and I love the movies. I own them all, but I still need to get the extended version of Return of the King. I mean, I saw it at my friend's house... Best movie EVER... But I don't have the money to buy it for my own... I want to buy so much LotR-related stuff when I get money. Soon I'll have my own cloak, and set of chainmail, and a replica of Anduril, and a poster of Middle Earth for my wall, and.... *goes off on a tangent*
Anyway, I'm getting off-topic here... (That's something else about me! I'm very random and off-topic sometimes, and I have a veeerrryy short attention-- oh look, orcs! )
I guess all I have left to say is that my favorite character is Faramir! I love Faramir... You could say I'm rather obsessed... In fact, I have pictures of him all over the walls of my room! And more as my wallpaper for my phone! And I would totally have the same wallpaper for my computer, if it hadn't broken and I didn't have to use my brother's. (WHY did I just admit that out loud!? *facepalm*)
Anyway, I guess that's all I can fit into this one post without scaring you all. So, yeah. Mára aurë...

Welcome to the forum! I'm sure you'll love it here with all the shiny LotR-ness around. I hope you get your chainmail soon - and post pictures!! That would be so cool.
Book-Faramir is badass... movie-Faramir.. ummm they made him a little too much obsessed with the Ring for the sake of the plot but I'll forgive the lovely David Wenham because he's cute!! Oh and you should change the wallpaper on your brother's comp. Muahahahahah.

Heh, thanks for the welcome to both of you
And I totally agree about Faramir... In the movies, they edited the plot a bit with how he takes the hobbits to Osgiliath-- book Faramir wouldn't have done that-- I don't mind in the slightest because that means I get to stare at him more
