We have server access, so we're just kind of playing around and getting familiar with things. And we'll be meeting up again to talk in more detail about coding and such.

Idea-storming for the main site: - Could we update at least the main-main site so it's up-to-date? Stuff that is easily edited? - Like the poll? - And the featured site. - And we ought to have a news site where we could post news on the Hobbit since production started. It's probably one of the things that take time and ressources seeing as people are already working hard on shaping up other categories too but we also got some new people who signed up for writing/news jobs in the sign up thread. - OR we could make a post on the main site advertising for help in specific aras. _________________ >>Be the change you wish to see in the world<<

Myself and Larael have come up with a system that allows either one of us to add news without needing the OK of the other, which due to us both being busy, this takes time.
We have also, for the moment anyway until the layout is modified, decided that the best way to have general site news and Hobbit news is simply for each news item either have "SITE NEWS - New forum Layout!" or "HOBBIT NEWS - Andy Serkis to direct!" so while they are not in categories and will sit next to each other, they will be easy to pick out.
Also, if we want to start linking to Hobbit images, at the moment there are none on AU, and I personally, really dislike the idea of linking to another site with the image. So we are setting up an AU Hobbit Gallery account, so we can link an image that we want from there. This will also serve as a home for any Hobbit images we find and when the galleries are sorted, we'll have everything we need ready.
Sorry we seem to have been lacklustre about the news updates, we've both been so busy recently.

^PJ is really good at updating his FB page with bits and pieces of news, it's definitely worth having a look at EDIT: It seems that's just what you've done  Just one thing though (although it might be too late) - it might be a good thing to mention that while most cinemas cant show the 48 thingy movies (yeah I'm fluent in film speech), they'll be converting it to "normal" 24 thingy, so that the film can be shown even in the less fancy cinemas _________________
