I liked Audrey's vocals. As I said, it sounded more natural and less flower-girl-got-lungs-hidden-talent. I love her rendition of "Moon River" in Breakfast At Tiffany's so at least the world got to hear her anyway.

I loved her rendition of "Moon River!" Knowing what she sounds like from Breakfast At Tiffany's (and not yet having heard her vocals in MFL), I would probably agree that it would sound more natural. There are a few songs that she just busts out that always take me by surprise because it's just so not ... Audrey.

 I never got into Cats. Something about people dressing up as cats, and running around...I just couldn't handle it. Maybe I'd do better now, but I dunno.

I'm with Nurr on th is one. I think growing up, seeing people all dressed up as cats and prancing around was just too bizarre ... even for me. :P Maybe if I was in New York and it was on Broadway, I might be persuaded to see it ... :P But even a Broadway production would still have me pretty hesitant.

Speaking of Bob Fosse, when I was in high school, my drama troupe went to see the production, "Fosse" in Spokane, Washington. THAT was impressive. And so much fun. I remember walking out of it wishing desperatley that I had SOME coordination.

Totally Bumping this, because I LOVE musicals and can't believe I've never seen this thread before!

My Favourite musicals are The Producers, Calamity Jane, We Will Rock You and My Fair Lady and trying to chose just one of them would be incredibly mean!!!

if this question's been asked before: Sorry! But what musicals do you dislike?

My least favourite of all is the Sound of Music- don't get me wrong Julie Andrews is amazing! But being forced to sit through it for too many family Christmases has really put me off the whole thing!

Possible the best staged musicals I've seen is Hairspray, I saw the first Sunday of the West End Run and it was spectacular, amazing cast, amazing music and hilarious performance from Phil Jupitus :)

Musicals I've Seen

West End:

Lion King x2
My Fair Lady
Lord of the Rings x2
Phantom of the Opera
Avenue Q
Hairspray
We Will Rock You x2
Sister Act
Oliver!
Wicked
Spamalot

Amateur:

Oliver! x2
Jesus Christ Superstar
The Wizard of Oz
Oklahoma!
Kiss Me Kate

Musicals I've Been in:

Oh! What a Lovely War
Calamity Jane
My Fair Lady
Copacabana
High School Musical
The Merry Widow
Little Shop of Horrors
Rodgers and Hammerstien's: A Grand Night for Singing

Has anyone else been in school or theatre company shows? if so what? And What's your Dream Role?
