My sister and I saw this movie in the cinema, because there were no other movies we thought were worth watching.. But, we couldn't stop laughing while watching it xD it's such a typical movie. And it went on and on and on..

It was so typical! I mean, it wasn't bad, and I love Aaron Eckhart, but the whole time I knew what was going to happen. :P There have been too many alien invasion movies for it to ever be a surprise.

"Nine Lives"

Fascinating film. Very creative and original and very well done. The only problem was that I wanted to know more by the end of each segment. And it did end without explaining why they were all interconnected. But I suppose on some artsy-fartsy level, that's the point. I guess I just wanted to know more about these women's lives because each was done so well.

Yeah, Jason Statham beating people up and driving like a lunatic. You don't need anything else.

I took my little brother to see Cars 2, and needless to say it was hilarious. xD the humor was directed at a slightly older audience, but all the kids in the theatre loved the visuals.

So so so so so so so so disappointed with the ending for this film. :-( There is no one in the wide world that mourns the disappearance of the western as a regular feature in cinemas more than me, so when a western comes around I pounce with my automatic rifle. I abolsutely LOVED the first 90 minutes. The cast were absolutely perfect (love me some Barry Pepper ) the music was gorgeous, traditional instruments and themes and I it looked FANTASTIC... but then the ending really screwed up the film for me. I'm not saying everyone needed to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star around the campfire for eternity or that there had to be any romantic notions that pulled them together (although I must say, under-age or not, Mattie and LeBourf were pretty good together... ;) .. crazy writers trying to make me believe he was 55.... not a day over 40 if that :P) BUT some kind of recognition.... "how is your arm today? That's good, I need to go now". That's ALL I wanted, a proper goodbye.

I feel like I need to watch it again even though I only saw it last night. I think it's impaired my feelings about it.

I watched Iron Man this evening with a friend. I've liked that movie ever since I came out, though the second one not as much. anyway, the soundtrack is epic, and though I'm not a huge Robert Downey Jr. fan, I loved his character as Tony and the multiple emotions he fleshes out during the film.

Mmm yeah, I'd say the ending was.. awkward.. it was way too aprupt and just odd.. I just don't think it's the cowboy way.. to say proper goodbye.

I just watched Appaloosa... and it's the same.. no goodbye there... Just Viggo Mortensen shooting Jeremy Irons and leaving the town.. and freaking riding into the sunset - this is how every Western movie ought to end!!! :laughbounce:
I loved Appaloosa by the way.. Viggo and Jeremy and Ed Harris... nooot so fond of Rene Zellweger.. too much happy, smiling Bridget Jones there... but that's what they wanted I guess.. after all she was playing a single woman - again! Looking out for luv! :P

I know, where'd all the westerns go? They toss one out every couple of years, but then make 50 million movies all about fast cars and things blowing up. I like fast cars and explosions, but I also like a good ol fashioned shoot out, and horse chases instead of car chases. Thank heavens for my daddy's Clint Eastwood western collection, or I'd go into western withdrawl!

Anyway, Pirates Of The Caribbean #1. No matter how many times I watch it, its still just as fun as the first time I saw it! Love Jack! "But why is the rum gone!" lol!
