Johnny's Fan did a contest like this not long ago, but it kinda died so I thought I'd give it a try. Well, my version of it, anyways (Hope you don't mind JF)  In this contest I would like you to make a banner using images I provide. Whether you choose to do 700x150 or 600x200 is up to you. Use any textures and brushes etc that you want, and add whatever text you find fitting. Animations are not allowed this time around, maybe in later rounds. The subject for this round is the chapter 'Concerning Hobbits'. You may use images from these scenes: http://arwen-undomiel.com/sc/fotr/CH.php?page=1 The images on page 2 and 3 may also be used. You may not, however, use images of any of the main characters, that is Frodo, Sam and Bilbo. Deadline is July 28th, so that gives you two weeks. Let the graphics-making begin! This is the LAST DAY of the competition! Entries that are not in by tonight (my time, and to set a proper time frame, let's say entries that aren't in within twelve hours) will not be accepted.
According to the participants' list, Freya Baggins is the only one who hasn't provided a banner yet.
If you're not on the list but still want to join, you absolutely may - just make sure your entry is in before 9 pm my time.
