one of my favorite scenes, I love how the relationship between Legolas and Gimli evolved through the trilogy, their friendship made some funny scenes! like the dead orc count!

I don't like how some people I know say this scene demoralizes Gimli and Legolas. I think it's hilarious and adds a new dimension to their friendship, and also some much-needed comic relief.

^ I know! He's hilarious! The way he looks at Legolas when he says he's starting to be affected by the ale! I really love that scene, its a nice way to put some humor in, especially right after all the heavy stuff that happened beforehand.
