"Aye." she glanced at him before turning in his arms and facing him, holding him close. "You are right." she pressed close to him. "I wish I did not have them."

He held her, their closeness comforting them both.
''You know that they do not matter to me, angel.'' He traced her scars with his lips, kissing each of them before laying his head back on his pillow.
Niko's arm encircled her torso as his hand rested on her back,rubbing it like he knew she found relaxing. His other hand pulled her leg over his waist, leaving just as close as they had been when they had slept earlier.

"Le melon, Love." she smiled, lovin the way he comforted her. "You're wonderful." she sighed at his hand on her back, and began to feel drowsy again. She loved him, with everything she had.

He turned slightly red at her words.
''It is you that makes me so''
Niko turned and pressed his lips to hers, enjoying the comfort, closeness and tenderness of the moment.
''You are all I need.'' He kissed her again, in complete bliss with her at his side.

She smiled into his kiss. She enjoyed and loved the beauty of his presence. It was something she would never take for granted, and would always treasure. "One kiss led to all of this." she smiled and trace the side of his face with her finger "It is amazing."

He searched his thoughts for the night they had met. It seemed like years ago.
''Yes, one kiss. And to think, I was not sure if you wished me to kiss you''
He nipped at her finger, smiling.

She smiled and kissed him again "I wasn't either! But I was glad you did." she remembered how she had put her hand on his face and moved closer to him. And he had bent down and kissed her. She had been surprised. "I couldn't believe that you kissed me. I thought after the fact that you had just been drunk." she kissed him again, lightly running her tongue over his bottom lip.

He laughed.
''The drink merely sped up my actions. Ale or not I would have done it. I knew then that you would end up owning my heart.''
He rested his forehead against hers and brought their lips together. The tenderness they shared would never cease to amaze him.

"I see now that somehow I knew as well." she kissed him back, glad of the twist of fate that had thrown them together. She never would have thought love would come to her. But it had, in Niko. Her Niko.

Niko kissed her again, and again. He would never tire from the taste of her lips.
His eyes began to flutter, the days events taking his energy. Yet he did not want to leave the moment he was sharing with his wife. His angel.
He lay his head mere inches from hers and kissed her once more.

She returned each of his kisses gladly. She thought she could still be dreaming. She noticed how his eyelids looked heavy, and she kissed his chin. "Sleep, husband. You need it." she reached up and closed his eyelids with her fingers then held him close. "Le melon, sleep well." she whispered with a soft smile.

A grateful smile showed on Niko's face as she closed his eyes for him.

He placed a soft kiss on what he believed was her cheek and then drifted off to sleep in her arms. He felt completely safe as dreams of him and his wife took him.
Niko smiled in his sleep.

She held him close, enjoying watching him sleep. "Love" he said, and she smiled, then closed her own eyes. They had experienced so much together. They had been through so many thongs but had pulled through. They were truly meant to be together, she knew it. Her own dreams took her then, and she drifted off onto a cloud of much needed sleep with Niko in her arms.

The sound of birds could be heard as Niko woke. It was mid morning. Turning he looked to Nienna, still asleep, entwined in each others arms.
He lay there watching her sleep/
How did he ever get so fortunate?

She woke up to the pleasant sound of birds chirping, and the pleasant sight of Niko next to her. "Good morning, my king." she smiled and stretched, the night's events had left her with a headache. Her hands came up to rub her temples "She hits hard!" she grumbled.

He smiled as she woke.
"Good morning, love"
Niko removed her hand from her temple and began to kiss it gently.
"If you would like I shall massage you as I enjoy doing.", stroking her back as he spoke.
